Came by for lunch and it was a cunning and deceitful experience. Had to take a shower afterwards... Persian Kebabs is located inside Super Cupertino. Parking is available in the private lot or on the street. Dining is available indoors with clear plastic over the tablecloths (a touch tacky). Utensils are placed inside trays. There is a bottle of hand santizer that expired back in April 2023 if that is of interest... A box of Kleenex seems to be used as napkins...interesting... Ordering with the cashier was choatic at best. The pricing and options on the menu QR code that was provided on their "business card" was vastly different than the sticker prices?!? posted on random photos next to the register. My head was spinning after going through their menu. Ordered the chicken thigh and 2 koobideh rice plate with bread and tomatos and our food was ready ~15 minutes later inside a box. It was odd that the cashier took down our order as a la carte vs. combination...more on that later. When the cashier found out that we would be dining in, I noticed that the cashier was horrified...turns out the tomatoes were burnt, as in all black... Had to remove the tomato skin before able to eat the tomatos. (Other photos of tomatos weren't all fully black...) The cashier also seemed ruffled that she had to go get the bread, onions, and greens. (so would this have been skipped if we took this to go?!?) The koobideh was the highlight of the meal being super juicy and flavorful. The chicken thighs and rice were quite bland...bummer. When it came time to settle the bill, the cashier was adament to charge one chicken thigh platter + 2 side orders of koobideh (instead of a combination chicken and koobideh plate + 1 side of koobideh), although the cashier kept on informing us that we could make any combination we liked. ...perhaps this is cultural? ~$16/head after tax for lunch. They take credit cards.

Looking for a new cuisine to try out in Cupertino? Then I highly recommend Super Cupertino! What a great find! It's a specialty Persian gourmet grocery store with their restaurant on the other side. They have a lot of their delicious dishes posted by the register. We were quite intrigued but weren't certain what the dishes were called (we are not familiar with Persian words). The staff is so friendly and helpful and explained all of the pictures/dishes to us. We each enjoyed their ground beef kabobs with the saffron rice. The dinner was delicious. We also really appreciated their staff because they were so friendly and were very attentive. Super Cupertino is a great place to dine and you'll probably be tempted to pick up some items at their grocery store on the way out. :-)

This location is under new ownership since August 2022. They added an outdoor dining space in the parking lot.

New owners are very service oriented, friendly and the market is clean. Few fresh fruits and breads (for now ?) but their canned and dried products are bountiful and also have a reasonable frozen food section. They still have a restaurant kitchen for to go orders and a small eating area indoors. Order your food at the front register and the food will be brought up to the front when it's ready. Bought a big tub of locally made Pistachio ice cream - very creamy, pretty smooth texture & nice balance of pistachio flavor with saffron & rose water aromatics. ($22 - worth it) This market is not affiliated with the Rose markets.

Kubide, chicken thighs, filet mignon, kebab and rice

We ordered a combination of kobide, chicken thighs , filet mignon and kabob, and they were all delicious!!! The grilled tomatoes were so good with the rice and the yogurt cucumber salad and bread! The service is excellent! The entire team is so pleasant, friendly and generous, they offered us drinks!!! The ambience is amazing: cozy, homey and warm! Every thing was clean and orderly. We are so lucky to live close by, this will be our go to place for sure!!!

This little market is a gem. The owners are so nice. The food is delicious it has amazing flavor, excellent service. We will definitely be back.

10/10 everything. Their kabobs were excellent and deserve more attention. It is sad that I did not find out about this place sooner. Amazing people and ambiance. Make sure to stop by for breakfast, lunch, or dinner if you happen to be in the area. You will want to comeback everyday. I miss the kabob already.

The produce section was not as extensive as those at other Asian markets, but it was still adequate. However, the store carried many unique candies and snacks that I have not seen elsewhere. Notably, sakura flavored products were especially common during my visit. There were two large sections dedicated to premade meals, including rice bowls, hand rolls, onigiri, and sushi. The rolls seemed overly heavy on the rice, with relatively little fish filling. The prices also felt somewhat high for the portion sizes. However, the store offers a 20 percent discount on sushi and bento boxes daily after 6 PM. I ordered the nigiri combination, which included salmon, tuna, and scallop. The scallop was plump, and the tuna was sliced thickly. The salmon was slightly thin but still rich and fatty. Overall, the fish quality was good. The sushi rice was above average, with a distinct vinegar flavor despite being refrigerated. The total cost for the eight pieces was close to restaurant pricing, though the convenience factor partly justified it. I would rate this market a 3.5 out of 5 but rounded up for the good sushi rice. I would recommend shopping elsewhere for produce, but this is a good place for snacks and premade meals, especially after 6 PM.

When they closed because of the rodent problems, it really messed up my routine, and I didn't enjoy the Sunnyvale location as much. I'm so happy they've reopened! They typically have great deals for Prime members, especially the meat alternatives from Beyond and Jack & Annie's. I do a bulk of my shopping and all my Amazon returns here. Some of my staples are: Siggi's Plant-Based yogurt, Icelandic Provisions Oatmilk Skyr yogurt, 365 Chocolate Almondmilk Pudding, the fresh sourdough loaves, organic fruit, organic almond milk, and Greyston Bakery vegan brownies (birthday cake and cinnamon roll are my faves). This will always be my go-to Whole Foods, unless I move.

Came here this morning to get 1/2 flank steak, as I have for years. The guy behind the meat counter, with an unhappy face in a monotone, unenthusiastic voice tells me a big story of the butcher and this and that, rambling in incomplete sentences - ultimately, about how he will not cut it for me. He refused to. Interesting, because last week I said I wanted about a pound of flank steak and it wasn't an issue -the guy turned around cut it, slapped it on the scale, wrapped it and handed it to me with a smile. The lack of human emotion with some of the workers at this store is astounding. Why are you paying them? How did they get hired? Genuine question. The cashiers are very similar. Zero personality . One tall older guy with glasses is always inconsiderate and simply unhappy on a regular basis. Was outright rude to me when "he" made a mistake ringing up an item - and he didn't like it when I questioned him. They are just outright rude here. I could list many more examples of how bad this store is and the staff who work here. Not all the staff, there are some very nice professional ones, but it's few and far between. Where is the management? Does it exist at this whole Foods or do they only step in when rats are running around the store?

Let's start with the good, or I should say best. The sashimi here is the best of any Asian market bar none. You could even say better than some Sushi restaurants (I won't name them). Even some of the newer Asian markets like T&T have disgusting sashimi... to the point you can taste the ice bc they hadn't fully defrosted it. The only nit I have is bruh... stop putting the frickin plastic sauce packets right on top of the fish. Why? Why would you do that? Stop it. Come on. Why in the actual F would you do that? Ok, I know this sounds more like complaints but I do really like Mega Mart to be clear. 2 other issues: #1. Dude... what're you guys doing with the panchan? When did you start adding so much sugar and sugaring the F out of the panchan. This is not how it should be. Old Korean grandmas are literally turning in their graves with this sacrilege. Maybe panchan sales are falling, but you can be damn sure I will never buy this again with the amount of sugar you guys add. Like why? Why 50% sugar... seriously, this panchan candy bar nonsense makes no sense! #2. What happened to organic natto? Like bruh. You only had 1 brand left that was organic. I had to grab both options to test them out : Unlimeat Kimchi Mandoo and Unlimeat Vegetable Mandoo. Each package has 8 pieces and a packet of shoyu. After trying both, the kimchi version won me over a bit more. The other option is lighter in flavor, and I'm a fan of bold and spicy food. Adding the shoyu helps, but I could easily eat all the kimchi ones alone. I'm not sure I'd get them often, but I like having an option in the grab and go section for when I'm short on time and hungry. They also added some Pulmone vegan-friendly microwave dumplings to the frozen section, so I got those too. I noticed some plant-based bulgogi kimbap in the frozen section, but I decided to skip them because I'm iffy about the textures of frozen kimbap. I love when grocery stores have vegan-friendly options! I hope this means they'll start adding more vegan-friendly options in the grab and go hot food section. I thought they were out of stock too, but I ended up finding 3 bags hidden behind the Takis Pickle Punch chips. They didn't have the small hand carts. They only had the big push carts, and since I only needed 3-4 items, it seemed super inconvenient to have to push a large cart. I wandered around the store looking for a small cart and eventually found two at a checkout lane.
