I don't like to leave bad reviews, but the work Patrick did for me several years ago was very poor. I didn't write a review at that time because I actually think he is a nice guy and reviews can be tricky. However, every time I venture in or out of my house, I cringe at the horrible work that was done. And how much I paid for it! Some of the mortar work is already falling apart. Not cool. To his defense, Patrick did not do the work but had either hired someone, or it was an employee of his, either way, this old man had no business touching anyone's house. He was clearly incompetent. It's Patrick's responsibility to hire those skilled at their craft, IMO. The pictures speak for themselves. Unfortunately, this is just incredibly poor, poor work. read more

Patrick is a professional, very easy to work with and a great communicator. He had given me a quote on some tuckpointing work and replacement of a single glass block in the basement. Once I accepted, he was able to fit me in pretty quick. When he showed up we discussed the plan of attack for the day and also some other things he noticed that needed attention. I was happy he was able to fit in some extra tasks, for a fair price, while he was already here. I very much appreciate an honest tradesman whenever I'm lucky enough to find one, and I plan on using Patrick again in the future. I used Patrick of Mega last April 2022. I was experiencing seepage around my chimney on a wall in upstairs bedroom and water around chimney in basement. I contacted Patrick for an estimate and scheduled a chimney repair. He said he repaired the chimney and replaced the cap. If I had any more leaking it would be a roof issue and that I'd need a roofer. In late fall I noticed more water damage and the chimney cap had shifted. I contacted Patrick and he told me the cap was straight when he left. I asked him to schedule me to check it out. I sent him pictures of the chimney. Meanwhile I noticed much more water damage on the ceiling and around chimney. I texted Patrick again thinking the mild weather he'd come inspect his work. I was now forced to contact a roofer and another tuck pointing company. The attached pictures were taken by another tuck pointing company who explained the inferior work caused the continued water leaking around chimney on the bedroom ceiling. They also told me about the debris left on the roof and gutters. I also discovered a lot of gritty substance in my gutters when I cleaned them last fall and my neighbor complained about the mess on his walkway between our houses. My review is based on the service Patrick performed, the continued water issues and the pictures taken by another company who inspected the chimney. Anyone with a brick house has faced weather damage, as well as aging brick, mortar, and glass block windows. Patrick came to the rescue with skill and ideas to repair and add value to our house. He is also doing work on two other homes next door to mine. I have seen him working from morning to nightfall in order to complete work especially when the weather is threatening and menacing. He takes extreme pride in his work. He goes to great lengths to color match the mortar and has high standards. I hired him once again, this time to do glass block windows. I'll update when the glass block window replacements and repair work is completed. I'll attached photos when all the work is completed. Patrick is outstanding! I have had him do tuck pointing on house and garage, clean & seal shaving bricks inside garage, repair and save several natural stones on house that were shaving and crumbling due to weather, replace a glass block window, replace bricks on house & polyurethane seal gaps in gangway and porch. I also referred him to two neighbors and did work for them as well. He is now going to remove old cement "weather stripping" from garage and polyurethane seal the gaps, repair several cracks and seal coat the bricks. He is honest, fair on pricing, does a fantastic job and his appreciation for masonry shows in his work. Patrick is the only one I will trust to do masonry work on my house. Hired these guys again Spring 2017 to rebuild a knee wall in my cellar entry. As usual, all their work was spot on. The previous tuckpointing they did on my limestone foundation walls in 2014 is holding up well. When my roofers uncovered some tuck pointing needs on my garage before they could finish their work, I turned to yelp. I reached out to about 5 different tuck pointers, and Patrick from Delta Masonry came through. He was by far the most responsive and came out next day to give me a quote. He listened to the fact that I needed just the bare minimum done to get the roofing project completed, didn't try to up sell me, and gave me by far the best quote! He was also great at communicating all the way through the project, which is rare in my experience with contractors. Patrick and his crew from Delta Masonry are AWESOME!!!!! He gave me the best price, was very professional, has a very good work ethic, and is completely licensed in Elmwood Park. The last part is important because it is required in order to get a permit, which Patrick was able to do in less than 2 days. Our house is on the market to sell and the Elmwood Park village inspectors like to see permit work done by licensed professionals. And, let me be honest with you, Patrick did an Awesome job!!! We recently had Delta Masonry & Tuckpointing out to do some spot tuckpointing and fix our crumbling chimney. The previous owners had used some masonry caulk to fix some spots, and we wanted it done right. During the walk-around for the quote, Patrick noted that we had 2 new windows that didn't have sills, and one was missing a lintel. He provided individual quotes for chimney, wall tuckpointing, window sills, window lintel, as well as a few other items, so we could hire him to do what best fit our budget. They showed up every day that they said they would, even on a cold wet day, and did great work. The true test for the 5th star was that after they were gone, job done, and they had full payment in hand, I noticed one little problem with one of the windows they worked on. Despite how nice and friendly Patrick was, past experience working with contractors had me thinking, "Well, we'll probably have to just live with it - I doubt they'll be back to fix it." Well, 2 days after I let them know about the problem, they were out here and fixed it in 10 minutes, had me go check everything to make sure it was to my satisfaction, and they apologized for the problem and headed on their way. We needed some minor tuck pointing done on our house as we are under contract on the sale of our home and this was one of the items agreed to from the inspection. We are closing at the end of the month (July) and we needed this work done ASAP. I posted a RFQ on yelp and had a number of responses but most couldn't even get out for an estimate until after our close, let alone getting us on the schedule to get the work done. Patrick was quick to respond, provided a reasonable quote based on the pictures I sent and was able to complete the work within 48 hours of me posting the request. Patrick and his partner did a great job on our relatively minor repair, taking care to blend the mortar into the existing color and completing the job in a few hours. We walked around the building and discussed all the repairs and he seemed very professional and knowledgeable. I showed him a part that needed to be repaired above the roof line and he seemed very worried and intimidated, obviously above his expertise. He promised that he would get me a proposal for the rest of the repairs and figure out how to do the work on the roof. I emailed a few times and never heard anything back.
