No dolphins. No celebrity houses. No actual commentary from the people running the tour. I get the dolphins are wild animals and they can't guarantee sightings, but it was just a basic boat ride for an hour. Would not take their tour again. read more

So happy we chose this experience! Kids LOVED the boat, all the staff were super friendly and helpful, and even pointed me to a close liquor store so I could grab a few beers to bring onboard (BYOB allowed). Definitely one of the highlights of our trip & we'll do it again next time! read more

Both ladies and the captain of the boat were so nice and helpful. I was having an issue with the parking meter so the captain went to the meter with me to help me . Mega Bite shark boat is a sight seeing dolphin tour boat in Clearwater. It was $21 for adults, $14 for kids, 3 and under are free. You get your picture taken in the beginning. They charge you $10 for the picture, but well worth it, I think. They take you all the way out to the Gulf of Mexico. They make sure you get to see a dolphin or two. They show you celebrity houses such as Hulk Hogan, John Travolta, Lisa Marie Presley's house she bought with Michael Jackson, and more. Neat facts about local houses and history. It was fun! Captain Jay and our guide Ali were incredible! They took us right into a pod of dolphins. Ali was so energetic and brought everyone into smiles. For 22$ a person it is so worth it! It was a night that my family and I will never forget. So many dolphins came up to the boats waves and were jumping out. We made last minute decisions to stop and see dolphins while in the Clearwater. The crew was two nice guys who were full of more puns than one could ever imagine--- cheesy, but cute. They had drinks (soda and water) for $1 on the boat. They were also full of fun facts about local houses, history, and general Clearwater knowledge. We got to see multiple pods of dolphins (8 dolphins in total), but they were focused on feeding. I was still happy to spend the $23 for the trip. Remember, they work off tips as well! read more

Originally was supposed to go on "little toot" but there was not many seats left so we went to ask this boating place. The boat was boarding and about to leave when we approached and they gave us no time to decide whether to go on or not and did not explain what our experience would be like/include. We made an impulsive decision to say yes as they were rushing us and quickly charged us and swiped our cards. We saw the same dolphin about three times. Instead of going fast like other boats, we stood there waiting for the same dolphin to peep above the water again and again. We also just went around the bay a couple of times instead of heading towards out towards the ocean. They still had the audacity to ask for tips. Waste of money and time. read more

My daughter wanted to go on this because the front of the boat looks like a big shark, I'm glad we did. It was a lot of fun with some local history thrown in. They take you out to the gulf and we saw a bunch of dolphins. Once we got out there the captain let the kids steer the boat and overall it was just a really nice boat ride. read more

This was a great tour for us (3 Adults + 2 Toddlers). We saw dolphins within the first 10 min and then the cruise itself was enjoyable and entertaining (pretty hilarious commentary) throughout the harbor! Would recommend to others for sure! read more

Here in Clearwater visiting family, traveling solo... I decided to go on a dolphin tour, and had a wonderful time. I think I took our first mate's suggestion to "keep an eye out for dolphins" a little too seriously and got carried away pointing at things that were probably obvious, but I had a blast!! And thank you to Captain Bob and 1st mate Michelle (I'm not great with names, but I think that was our crew) for getting us out to several groups of beautiful bottlenose dolphins. The dolphins put on a show, surfing our wake, and jumping high in the air! As a wildlife lover, this was a wonderful hour spent with nice people, awesome marine life, and for $25? Cheaper than going to the movies! Plus you get to ride in a giant shark shaped boat. Fabulous. (Don't forget, wind and sea can tip your ship, but only you can tip your crew!) read more

The boat has a small bathroom and is partially covered in case you need to get out of the sun. The boat is a perfect size for viewing dolphins on both sides. Went out looking at dolphins (parked) when this boat nearly ran us over with the driver yelling "you better move". He would have run us over had we not moved with a boat full of tourists. Tried calling the owner, but he didn't call. Think twice before putting your family on this boat. read more

We are from out of the state but come here annually. The last time, it was raining and the boat had to return. The crew told us next time would be free of charge and to just tell them the date of the incident. We believed them and returned to mega bites the next year. The lady at the stand, Stephanie, told my brother she cannot give us a free ride, as they promised but they would give us a discount per orders from her manager . She gave my brother 5 minutes to park and give her a response. After circling the full parking lot for 30 minutes and returning to the stand , she said there were 5 spots left now and left us to talk to the customers behind us. She returned and said that now her boat was full, although she knew we were waiting for her to purchase our tickets (that were actually supposed to be free). Stephanie said she gave us 5 minuted but we took too long to park. Even though when we arrived they were still spots left . She was so extremely rude to us that I was left in tears. My toddlers that were looking forward to this activity were devastated, and the holiday trip we wait all year for ended up in heartbreak and tears from almost everyone in the family due to the lack of customer service and heart of this company. read more

A very fun experience. The ship is cool and our kids loved it. We didn't see any dolphins but it's the wild, you can't force them to come out and play. Wish they would have spent more time in the ocean rather than the bay. Afterwards our hotel recommended we did the yellow boat since they guarantee dolphins. Not sure how true that is.
