Amazing experience I am in love with this beach. Thanks to Clearwater for having us do this party here.

Absolutely loved our early morning on the beach with our little Yorkie. We made sure to get to the beach at about 8 am to ensure that street parking was easily accessible and that the beach wasn't overly crowded! It was the perfect time to go, because our yorkie is still a puppy and he gets easily excited, which could be annoying to other beach goers. Parking was metered, available and easy to find at this time. The beach is clean, bright and beautiful. Clear signage for beach rules is viable. There aren't any beach bathrooms available, so please bare that in mind. Will definitely be back!

One of my favorite beaches - always so nice and a lot less crowded than the main beach. Easy to park and a lot cheaper - just don't forget to pay! Gorgeous water and plenty of garbage cans a long the way.

Clearwater Beach is my favorite Beach in central Florida. In the past visits, I always pick a spot by the.pier 60. This time, went further north, which I like better. It's still crowded but it's not as bad plus you have Frenchy's Rock Away Grill and The Pavilion, so it's easy to get a drink. Although, you are not allowed to take your drink to the beach area ($300 fine), if they catch you. I guess one thing I like in Cocoa Beach, you can buy and enjoy your drinks on the beach. Parking is an issue still but, that's everywhere in Clearwater Beach.

A great dog beach, the only thing is there is no access to any bathrooms. So make sure you plan ahead.

I have been going to Clearwater Beach for over 25 years. It is an amazing beach! It is my happy place! The sand is the whitest & the finest that you will encounter in this part of Florida, possibly all of Florida! Some people complain that it is too crowded or not enough parking. That's where North Clearwater Beach comes to the rescue. If you want to avoid the crowds and spend less time looking for a parking spot, head north, about one mile north of Pier 60. North Clearwater Beach has all same sand and all the same views but without the hustle and bustle of the area around Pier 60 and the big hotels. Aside from the fact that's its more secluded and quiet, its also DOG friendly! Not a dog park, but a dog friendly beach! Be sure to pack a lunch or plan to walk back to the crowds for food as you will not find restaurants or bars here.

I enjoy coming to this beach for walking with my pupper. It's not crazy packed. Dogs are allowed from a certain point on and are supposed to be on leashes. I've been twice and have seen multiple dogs. Some off leash but they were small dogs and well disciplined, so it wasn't a huge deal. There weren't any aggressive dogs, which is a plus. The people were all super friendly and understanding! There aren't any facilities here: ie., bathrooms, showers, etc. This beach has soft sand. Not too crazy with shells..which I enjoy because I do not like walking on shells. There are trash cans located by the entrance walk ways. Parking isn't terrible. You do have to pay per hour. They weren't using the parking meters but they have instructions to download a parking app. Takes a little bit of time if it's your first time using it. But convenient to use, especially if you originally pay for an hour but want to stay for another 30 minutes or longer, you can adjust it on your phone! Oh, one last tip..if you do bring your dog...bring water!!!

I came here recommended by Rachel M and I was in beach heaven! We had already prepared a family vacation to Clearwater and I was a bit worried of where we where going to leave our dog. However, when I reached out to Rachel, she told me about this beach and I knew we were in for a great time. We got to the beach, and what I truly loved about it is that it was secluded enough to enjoy a day with the family, but it was also doggie friendly! This beach was not too far from the main areas, since it was only a few blocks down from the pier. The day was perfect, and we spent about 5 hours there. What I loved was that although it was dog friendly, it wasn't like a dog park, so Henry (my dog nephew) was able to enjoy the beach without being surrounded by other doggies. All which meant I was able to relax as well! I can't wait to go back to this beach, even if I am not with Henry

This is absolutely one of the BEST beaches I've ever been to, and dog friendly! We love coming here as often as we can. The serenity at sunset is simply amazing!

Great beach! Get there early as the parking lot tends to fill up. Don't forget to stop at Frenchy's Rockaway Grill!

Less crowded but go early cuz parking runs out on weekend. Bring everything you need - water, food, etc cuz it's a hike to get anywhere.

Ask the Community - North Clearwater Beach

Where is it exactly. Is it marked as North Clearwater beach?

Once you get to the round about follow Eldorado and that's N. Clearwater Beach next to the houses on the left side. Coming from Clearwater Beach. Few parking spots on right side of road. Pay attention to the signs.

I'm curious about what kind of parking is available for NCB. I've got a longer than average pickup truck, so parallel parking could be an issue if street spaces are small. Are there any lots or areas where they have diagonal parking?

There r very few street parking spots. It is a challenge to find parking because it is residential. The parking signs are tricky also. There are no lots. Closest lot is by Palm Pavillion and walk to the north.

We saw more birds than people as I think most folks just go to the beach. This park includes three distinct environments... beach, freshwater marshes and forest all very close to each other, with easy-to-follow unmarked trails and clean public bathrooms. We walked and explored and enjoyed for several hours, seeing osprey with young chicks, a pileated woodpecker, herons, ducks, a variety of stunning warblers, a loggerhead shrike and more! We also saw a variety of native butterflies and plants/trees/flowers, so I contributed those identifications since that's more my area of expertise. I was thrilled to see, for the first time in my life, the elusive Blue-Winged Warbler! Score! While I didn't obtain a photo, the sighting was definite and confirmed by my friend / guide / birding expert! Life is great when a small group of friends explore a beautiful and serene park, taking our time to really take it all in and as a bonus, I am able to add to my growing bird life list.

Initially I loved it here. Just think drive your car, park and beach right. So convenient. We have a ton of stuff to hang out by the beach. This place is way too crowded for a relaxing beach day. Big huge groups go here with RV's, pick up trucks, and tons of huge tents. It's a party spot. That could be your scene, if so props for you, and send me an invite. People also bring their kayaks and go kayak or jet ski here too. It's not relaxing. It's fast paced here. I love a chill beach with no people in hand's reach and definitely no cigarette smoke etc. So I'm done with this place. It is a $15 fee to park here. I highly doubt that's really strictly followed. We payed bc the parking attendant came by. The other thing to note is there are restrooms close by. There's also restrooms and showers available across the street at Sand Key. Enjoy your beach day however you prefer!!

None of my friends have heard of Abu Seba Beach and it's a great name to drop for the local who thinks they've done it all. Imagine my surprise when I did a search for beaches on Google maps and found this gem! If you want to impress a beach bum that's been to every beach in the Tampa Bay area, ask them if they've been to Clearwater Point Beach or Abu Seba Beach! Abu Seba Beach is located on Sand Key, across the street from Sand Key Park on the Intercoastal waterway next to the Clearwater Community Sailing Center and the Marriott Suites on Sand Key, which is South of Clearwater Beach. If you're on Gulf Boulevard, look for the Clearwater Community Sailing Center and turn in there. Keep going and you'll hit Abu Seba Beach! Officially, the sign says Clearwater Beach but the whole island of Sand Key is part of the city of Clearwater. The beach extends all the way to the Clearwater Pass Bridge which connects Sand Key Island to Clearwater Beach Island. Where the beach ends by the Clearwater Pass Bridge, there's lots of rocks and it looks really pretty! I'm not sure who named Abu Seba Beach but it's on Google maps, Yelp, Trip Advisor and Facebook so that's good enough for me. "Abu Seba" means "father of a drunkard" in Arabic according to Google so that seems like a suitable name for a party beach. Cars can pull directly on the beach and park without walking 20 yards to get to the beach. Aside from being able to drop the name of this secret beach that you can impress your friends with and having a cool spot to take pictures of your car on the beach on the east coast, the big draw back to this beach is that it's on the Intercoastal and the water is not as blue or clear as on Sand Key Beach across the street. The 2nd draw back to this beach is that parking is $15 for the whole day while it is 1/3rd the price at $5 for the whole day across the street with bluer waters and showers at Sand Key Park and completely free to park at Bay Park on Sand Key. The third draw back to this beach is that there are no showers. A pet peave of mine is driving w sandy feet. If you are really acrobatic or flexible or tall, you can actually wash your feet off in the beach's bathroom sink if you can get your feet to reach. A 4th drawback is no big waves. Not everyone is into big waves but I think they're fun and so do kids! No launching of motorized watercrafts are allowed at this beach and no dogs are allowed at this beach. I imagine this sort of beach is what those beach Jeeps with no doors are made for. If you like hanging in the trunk of your SUV or truck, this beach may be the perfect beach for you!

Clearwater Point Beach has no visible signage from Gulf Boulevard and is surrounded by Condos so you kinda have to know about it to go. Clearwater Point Beach is located on the southeast tip of the famous Clearwater Beach Island by Clearwater Pass and is renown for it's quiet and peaceful location unlike it's busy sister beach just a couple blocks north. Enjoy watching the pirate ship, fishing boats, recreational boats, and dolphins swim by on Clearwater Point's secluded beach. You can see the Clearwater Pass Bridge and Causeway Bridge. There is plenty of free street parking available on South Gulfview Boulevard. Clearwater Point Beach is a private beach which borders Admiral House, Beach House, Gulf House, and Island House Condominiums. If you're lucky enough to know someone at one of these condominiums you can access foot showers, bathrooms, pool, and a hot tub. However, there are no public showers or bathrooms available to the general public. You can get a great view of this beach from Clearwater Pass bridge. I highly recommend visiting this beach if you have friends at the neighboring condominums, are dropping anchor on a boat, or if you want to book a vacation rental at a condo on this beach. There's only residential condominums on this beach and no waterfront restaurants or bars. However, there are lots of waterfront restaurant and bars just a couple blocks north of this beach, at Clearwater Beach.

Disappointing experience with clear racial undertones…read more I stayed at Pier 60 Clearwater Beach for a family emergency and was extremely disappointed with part of my experience. While some front desk staff were professional and helpful, the interaction with the bartender and the general manager on February 17th left a bad taste. When I attempted to pay a $30 tab, I was asked multiple times for my credit cards in a condescending manner. Despite my cards working, the bartender struggled with the payment system. When the GM stepped in, the same card that was "declined" magically worked immediately -- an interaction I recorded. This experience gave the impression of racial bias, as I highly doubt a white patron would have been treated the same way. I am a Black professional and a doctor currently working with the FBI, and I found the behavior unnecessary, unprofessional, and stressful during an already difficult family situation. While the GM attempted to address the issue, he was dismissive and walked away during the conversation. Two things can be true: some staff were courteous and kind, but the bartender and the handling of the payment issue created a negative and unnecessary experience. Unfortunately, this completely overshadowed the positive aspects of my stay, and I would not recommend this hotel for Black patrons or Black professionals at this time. Summary: Positive interactions with some staff were erased by poor service and racial undertones. If management wishes to address this, I would be willing to provide recorded documentation.

It's kind of strange as you have to go up from the parking garage to the 5th level to get to the front desk as there is now obvious entrance street level. The breakfast is also on the same level as the desk. It's a hot breakfast and the french toast was my go to although they had eggs, sausage, bacon, bagels and a lot of other stuff to choose from. When you're eating breakfast you have a great view of the marina and beach. It was fun to watch the dolphins that came into the marina to eat. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient, right on the marina and only a short walk from the beach. Staff was polite and very helpful. The elevators are fast which is nice too. The cost was reasonable, especially compared to other hotels on the beach. Lot's to watch on tv including free Netflix. It's a little older hotel but they keep it clean and in good condition. On the 10th floor is Jimmy's Crow's Nest bar and restaurant which is outside. Never ate anything there but did get drinks and they were good. They do a free shot at sunset every night too. I'd return if we go back to Clearwater Beach.
