Last nights sunset was so beautiful I found myself capturing tons of video and photos before I was asked to be in a photoshoot for their local guide ( it was the dress lol ) Today, I'm writing this review from my beach cabana as the sound of the ocean sends me into complete relaxation. Although the afternoon storms have pulled in some seaweed , the water is calm and soothing. My little and I have become mermaids and are looking forward to our vacation time here this week. For those traveling here, there are parking lots available with a pay to park ( I use the parking mobile app which saves me so much time) if you are not staying at a local hotel. There are also hotels that offer day parking passes that range $15-30 for a full day. Once on the beach, there are umbrella and chair rentals , cabana rental, surf shops near by to grab floats and surf boards and tons of food options all walkable. This is a great family friendly beach area that I've been coming to for over 20 years. It's worth the 2 hour drive for me!

It was delicious. We had an amazing time. The white sand and the blue ocean was gorgeous. The people at the beach were very joyful. There were people playing volleyball, reading books and swimming. There was a temporary tattoo shop near there, we had both gotten tattoos. There was a small shop where artists draw caricatures, however we couldn't see them. If they were there, we'd have definitely tried out and let them draw a caricature of us! It was warm and sunny. I highly recommend for anyone to visit and swim or just enjoy the scenery.

Super convenient. It has not been overcrowded, despite we visited it on Sunday between 11a-2p. A lot of people who are here not the first time, take tents, grills, coolers and blowables. Just think drive your car, park and beach right. So convenient. We have a ton of stuff to hang out by the beach. This place is way too crowded for a relaxing beach day. Big huge groups go here with RV's, pick up trucks, and tons of huge tents. It's a party spot. That could be your scene, if so props for you, and send me an invite. People also bring their kayaks and go kayak or jet ski here too. It's not relaxing. It's fast paced here. I love a chill beach with no people in hand's reach and definitely no cigarette smoke etc. So I'm done with this place. It is a $15 fee to park here. I highly doubt that's really strictly followed. We payed bc the parking attendant came by. The other thing to note is there are restrooms close by. There's also restrooms and showers available across the street at Sand Key. This location is accurately described. There is a Pier near a small park and group of hotels. The…read morePier vendors set up two hours before sunset and depart two hours after sunset. Performers, musicians and comedians gather at the bottom of the Pier. It is a creative way to attract a crowd. There are bathrooms and a few restaurants across from the Pier. You can find lots of shopping and dining within just a few blocks. We were careful to have our pockets zipped and we took cross body bags. It is easy to get distracted with a large group of people. The top of the pier allows fishing. It costs a dollar to enter the gated area. It is super windy at the end of the pier. Watch your ball caps!

Just in time right before Memorial weekend. Now there really won't be anymore free parking in the beach in Pinellas County / St. Pete to Clearwater Beach. We have a tiny few in Clearwater we found. That's about it. So sad. From looking it up, it looks like the meter will be $4.50. This is cheaper than Pass A Grille and Clearwater Beach off hand which is $5-6 an hour at the meters. It's kind of strange as you have to go up from the parking garage to the 5th level to get to the front desk as there is now obvious entrance street level. The breakfast is also on the same level as the desk. It's a hot breakfast and the french toast was my go to although they had eggs, sausage, bacon, bagels and a lot of other stuff to choose from. When you're eating breakfast you have a great view of the marina and beach. It was fun to watch the dolphins that came into the marina to eat. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient, right on the marina and only a short walk from the beach. Staff was polite and very helpful. The elevators are fast which is nice too. The cost was reasonable, especially compared to other hotels on the beach. Lot's to watch on tv including free Netflix. It's a little older hotel but they keep it clean and in good condition. On the 10th floor is Jimmy's Crow's Nest bar and restaurant which is outside. Never ate anything there but did get drinks and they were good. They do a free shot at sunset every night too. I'd return if we go back to Clearwater Beach.
