Pier 60! My absolute favorite beach pier in all of Clearwater. I love the little shops they have on Fridays and the ice cream shop is always a special treat and prefect way to end my day. I had the coconut ice cream, Superman, and the turtle. Coconut is and will always be my number one

If you are going to Clearwater Beach then this is the place to park. A semi large parking lot near the pier, as always come early to get a spot or wait until about 2p when everyone who should have applied sunscreen starts to pack up and leave. The cabana and umbrella guys have a reduced price after 3p and 2 hours at the beach is enough for me! Then you can walk the pier and prepare for the sunset. We ate at the Badfin which was a stone throw away and food was not bad.

It was a beach exploration day. Came to this beach first. The beach was too crowded. The thing I liked about this beach were the little shop stands, finding cute little gifts personally made by the seller. I wouldn't come back here again. Not my beach vibe.

The Pier has a fishing area at the end ($1 entry fee) and a small snack stand. The views of the beach and area hotels are awesome. In the evening you can find hand made crafts from local vendors. There is also entertainment at the end of the pier. For .25 you can look through "binoculars" and see a view of the water or nearby beach. It was windy when we walked along the pier. You almost need a hat with strings. We held onto our caps. The area is lovely, even when overcast.

Great place to stop and see the sea or do a little shopping. You can rent a fishing pole and get bait if you want to try fishing right off the pier. They have snacks as well as nice restroom at the middle of the pier where you pay if you want to go to the end of the pier. Fun inexpensive way to get out on the water for kids or parents or really anybody that just wants to have fun and see more of the area.

Good location, about from the beach. You can see Pier 60 from the rooftop bar. Friendly staff and easy check-in. Our room was very clean, comfy bed, lots of pillows with a safe, microwave and mini fridge. Breakfast included and underground parking. Tons of restaurants up and down the boardwalk and easy access to the beach.

I would give this more like 3.5 Stars not that it isn't cool or anything I like the vendors that make their own products and sell it there that's actually pretty cool and everything. The weird thing is they charge to walk to the end of the Pier? Maybe not enough revenue comes in for this city? Not sure or upkeep of the pier? Just weird to me first time I ever encountered anything like this! Overall decent and like I said the Vendors make it good!

Pier 60 Clearwater is the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset! We went on a weekend and there were vendors selling artisan made items and it was very interesting to see. There were also street performers that my kids enjoyed. Highly recommend to add this to your itinerary whenever you're in Clearwater Beach. The sunset was stunning!

The Pier is a nice alternative if you are not in the mood to hang out on the beach, but still want to enjoy the waterview while in the shade. Not all of the pier is covered, but there are parts where you can sit down and relax. The second part of the pier starts at the store, in order to have access to the last part you pay $1 and they let you through the gate. This part is mainly occupied by a fishing crowd, and a variety of birds you can watch up close. I loved hanging out here for an hour in the shade. Enjoying the view, the weather, without the sun beating down on me.

Great spot for a florida sunset. It's only $1 per person to go to the end of the pier, otherwise it's free. We enjoyed walking up and down and looking at all the different vendor tables. We bought some cute handmade ornaments. The playgrounds and street entertainers were neat as well. Worth a stop.

We loved Pier 60! Beautiful white sands, lots of fun blown up water slides, the Pier itself of course, and shops and little resturants. Can't wait to go back again early next year!

This pier cuts through the very middle of Clearwater Beach. Though it is nothing extravagant like the Santa Monica Pier, it is still worth a walk. You will get an elevated view of both sides of the beach. And along this pier, there is a convenience store, restrooms, and an ice cream shop. Once you get closer to the water, there is a shop selling beach and fishing things. It makes sense because once when get to the end of the pier, you will a bunch of people with containers of bait fishing. Great views of the water and sunset from the pier's end too.

It's busy out on the pier. Big crowds on and around the pier. Many vendors selling craft items on the pier. It's a beautiful night on the pier this evening.

We saw more birds than people as I think most folks just go to the beach. This park includes three distinct environments... beach, freshwater marshes and forest all very close to each other, with easy-to-follow unmarked trails and clean public bathrooms. We walked and explored and enjoyed for several hours, seeing osprey with young chicks, a pileated woodpecker, herons, ducks, a variety of stunning warblers, a loggerhead shrike and more! We also saw a variety of native butterflies and plants/trees/flowers, so I contributed those identifications since that's more my area of expertise. I was thrilled to see, for the first time in my life, the elusive Blue-Winged Warbler! Score! While I didn't obtain a photo, the sighting was definite and confirmed by my friend / guide / birding expert! Life is great when a small group of friends explore a beautiful and serene park, taking our time to really take it all in and as a bonus, I am able to add to my growing bird life list.

Initially I loved it here. Just think drive your car, park and beach right. So convenient. We have a ton of stuff to hang out by the beach. This place is way too crowded for a relaxing beach day. Big huge groups go here with RV's, pick up trucks, and tons of huge tents. It's a party spot. That could be your scene, if so props for you, and send me an invite. People also bring their kayaks and go kayak or jet ski here too. It's not relaxing. It's fast paced here. I love a chill beach with no people in hand's reach and definitely no cigarette smoke etc. So I'm done with this place. It is a $15 fee to park here. I highly doubt that's really strictly followed. We payed bc the parking attendant came by. The other thing to note is there are restrooms close by. There's also restrooms and showers available across the street at Sand Key. Enjoy your beach day however you prefer!!

None of my friends have heard of Abu Seba Beach and it's a great name to drop for the local who thinks they've done it all. Imagine my surprise when I did a search for beaches on Google maps and found this gem! If you want to impress a beach bum that's been to every beach in the Tampa Bay area, ask them if they've been to Clearwater Point Beach or Abu Seba Beach! Abu Seba Beach is located on Sand Key, across the street from Sand Key Park on the Intercoastal waterway next to the Clearwater Community Sailing Center and the Marriott Suites on Sand Key, which is South of Clearwater Beach. If you're on Gulf Boulevard, look for the Clearwater Community Sailing Center and turn in there. Keep going and you'll hit Abu Seba Beach! Officially, the sign says Clearwater Beach but the whole island of Sand Key is part of the city of Clearwater. The beach extends all the way to the Clearwater Pass Bridge which connects Sand Key Island to Clearwater Beach Island. Where the beach ends by the Clearwater Pass Bridge, there's lots of rocks and it looks really pretty! I'm not sure who named Abu Seba Beach but it's on Google maps, Yelp, Trip Advisor and Facebook so that's good enough for me. "Abu Seba" means "father of a drunkard" in Arabic according to Google so that seems like a suitable name for a party beach. Cars can pull directly on the beach and park without walking 20 yards to get to the beach. Aside from being able to drop the name of this secret beach that you can impress your friends with and having a cool spot to take pictures of your car on the beach on the east coast, the big draw back to this beach is that it's on the Intercoastal and the water is not as blue or clear as on Sand Key Beach across the street. The 2nd draw back to this beach is that parking is $15 for the whole day while it is 1/3rd the price at $5 for the whole day across the street with bluer waters and showers at Sand Key Park and completely free to park at Bay Park on Sand Key. The third draw back to this beach is that there are no showers. A pet peave of mine is driving w sandy feet. If you are really acrobatic or flexible or tall, you can actually wash your feet off in the beach's bathroom sink if you can get your feet to reach. A 4th drawback is no big waves. Not everyone is into big waves but I think they're fun and so do kids! No launching of motorized watercrafts are allowed at this beach and no dogs are allowed at this beach. I imagine this sort of beach is what those beach Jeeps with no doors are made for. If you like hanging in the trunk of your SUV or truck, this beach may be the perfect beach for you!

Clearwater Point Beach has no visible signage from Gulf Boulevard and is surrounded by Condos so you kinda have to know about it to go. Clearwater Point Beach is located on the southeast tip of the famous Clearwater Beach Island by Clearwater Pass and is renown for it's quiet and peaceful location unlike it's busy sister beach just a couple blocks north. Enjoy watching the pirate ship, fishing boats, recreational boats, and dolphins swim by on Clearwater Point's secluded beach. You can see the Clearwater Pass Bridge and Causeway Bridge. There is plenty of free street parking available on South Gulfview Boulevard. Clearwater Point Beach is a private beach which borders Admiral House, Beach House, Gulf House, and Island House Condominiums. If you're lucky enough to know someone at one of these condominiums you can access foot showers, bathrooms, pool, and a hot tub. However, there are no public showers or bathrooms available to the general public. You can get a great view of this beach from Clearwater Pass bridge. I highly recommend visiting this beach if you have friends at the neighboring condominums, are dropping anchor on a boat, or if you want to book a vacation rental at a condo on this beach. There's only residential condominums on this beach and no waterfront restaurants or bars. However, there are lots of waterfront restaurant and bars just a couple blocks north of this beach, at Clearwater Beach.

Disappointing experience with clear racial undertones…read more I stayed at Pier 60 Clearwater Beach for a family emergency and was extremely disappointed with part of my experience. While some front desk staff were professional and helpful, the interaction with the bartender and the general manager on February 17th left a bad taste. When I attempted to pay a $30 tab, I was asked multiple times for my credit cards in a condescending manner. Despite my cards working, the bartender struggled with the payment system. When the GM stepped in, the same card that was "declined" magically worked immediately -- an interaction I recorded. This experience gave the impression of racial bias, as I highly doubt a white patron would have been treated the same way. I am a Black professional and a doctor currently working with the FBI, and I found the behavior unnecessary, unprofessional, and stressful during an already difficult family situation. While the GM attempted to address the issue, he was dismissive and walked away during the conversation. Two things can be true: some staff were courteous and kind, but the bartender and the handling of the payment issue created a negative and unnecessary experience. Unfortunately, this completely overshadowed the positive aspects of my stay, and I would not recommend this hotel for Black patrons or Black professionals at this time. Summary: Positive interactions with some staff were erased by poor service and racial undertones. If management wishes to address this, I would be willing to provide recorded documentation.

It's kind of strange as you have to go up from the parking garage to the 5th level to get to the front desk as there is now obvious entrance street level. The breakfast is also on the same level as the desk. It's a hot breakfast and the french toast was my go to although they had eggs, sausage, bacon, bagels and a lot of other stuff to choose from. When you're eating breakfast you have a great view of the marina and beach. It was fun to watch the dolphins that came into the marina to eat. The location of the hotel is extremely convenient, right on the marina and only a short walk from the beach. Staff was polite and very helpful. The elevators are fast which is nice too. The cost was reasonable, especially compared to other hotels on the beach. Lot's to watch on tv including free Netflix. It's a little older hotel but they keep it clean and in good condition. On the 10th floor is Jimmy's Crow's Nest bar and restaurant which is outside. Never ate anything there but did get drinks and they were good. They do a free shot at sunset every night too. I'd return if we go back to Clearwater Beach.
