Had a wonderful and perfect day on Clearwater Beach. Everyone is very respectful. We were staying at the Hyatt Regency so we reserved 2 chairs and an umbrella as hotel guests for the day. The sand is so incredibly fine and the water was perfect temp on this late September day. I was still surprised how busy it was for a Monday in late September. Highly recommend this beach. Also lots of fun establishments nearby to eat, drink and have fun!
We had such a fun girls weekend at Clearwater Beach. The beach is absolutely beautiful and so big. The beach water is calm and crystal clear. There are so many fun restaurants and beach bars. The only warning is do not brink alcohol on the beach or you will get a ticket.
Rated one of the best beaches in the county so it is a must when you visit Dunedin. The sand is like sugar and it is cleaned every morning.

This latest trip I was with my friend that was visiting from Michigan and even that wasn't the first time of me taking her there. Oh well, I'll find other pictures from over the years and add them as I go. Parking has always been a pain in the ass here so I make sure that when I plan on spending the day here, I get up very early to be able to find parking where I do not need to search around forever or even use the parking garage as their price is outrageous. The area of actual Clearwater Beach has so much to offer from food, hotels, shops, events, sunsets, beautiful views, etc.
Sights and sounds of Clearwater and surrounding area. Don't be fooled Clearwater beach is not the only beach in town. Sand key beach is nearby with less people and more parking! Get to the beach early because the lot fills up fast. There is on the street for pay. It was a nice day for the beach. Near pier 60 is the Clearwater welcome center is everything you need to go before you go. This is our first time at Clearwter. Blue water, white sand is all you need to have an island like feel. Jamaica no! Clearwater, hell ya!!

Visited a lot of beach in FL and this beach has hands down the best vibe. So many restaurants and stores surrounding it. Has the best night life vibes. I will say the shells get a little annoying after a while LOL. But the view this beach gives is to die for!
We went to Clearwater for the first time this weekend and we loved everything about it. The beach is beautiful but it was well maintained and had a lot of conveniences around such as restaurants, hotels, and bathrooms. The city and beach themselves are very well maintained and easy to maneuver and walk around. The sand is beautiful and the water is stunning. Come early for public parking, we came on a Sunday for a beach volleyball tournament but we want to come back and come often
Beautiful beaches and clear water! IF you can get to it. Parking and traffic are a nightmare. If you find good parking it could range you about $24 for 8 hours OR if you don't, it can run you about $12 AN HOUR or more. Granted, we did come on spring break ish time. But to tax that much for parking? It's kinda greedy.
It's a stunning beach. It can get crowded though and the parking options get pricey. $35 for the day and no re entry. There's cheaper options but they sell out fast. Like that you can rent chairs and umbrella in places. Preferred over St Pete beach.
Clearwater beach has something for everyone: Volleyball, walking the beach shopping, dining and "chiling." No greater self care than being near the sound of the ocean!
Such a beautiful and warm beach. The community pulled together after the hurricane because 6 months later it looks booming and construction is up and running. Its full of entertainment and activities for all ages.

Between gorgeous turquoise waters to the cotton candy sunsets, Clearwater is one of the best beaches on the Gulf. Last nights sunset was so beautiful I found myself capturing tons of video and photos before I was asked to be in a photoshoot for their local guide ( it was the dress lol ) Today, I'm writing this review from my beach cabana as the sound of the ocean sends me into complete relaxation. Although the afternoon storms have pulled in some seaweed , the water is calm and soothing. My little and I have become mermaids and are looking forward to our vacation time here this week. For those traveling here, there are parking lots available with a pay to park ( I use the parking mobile app which saves me so much time) if you are not staying at a local hotel. There are also hotels that offer day parking passes that range $15-30 for a full day. Once on the beach, there are umbrella and chair rentals , cabana rental, surf shops near by to grab floats and surf boards and tons of food options all walkable. This is a great family friendly beach area that I've been coming to for over 20 years. It's worth the 2 hour drive for me! read more
The Clearwater beach is beautiful. It was wonderful and heavenly. My husband and I had a walk together while eating ice cream. There were various kinds of ice cream flavors. It was delicious. We had an amazing time. The white sand and the blue ocean was gorgeous. The people at the beach were very joyful. There were people playing volleyball, reading books and swimming. There was a temporary tattoo shop near there, we had both gotten tattoos. There was a small shop where artists draw caricatures, however we couldn't see them. If they were there, we'd have definitely tried out and let them draw a caricature of us! It was warm and sunny. I highly recommend for anyone to visit and swim or just enjoy the scenery. read more
We still love Clearwater Beach like it was our first trip. The most difficult park now is the parking though. You definitely have to search for parking and the majority you do have to pay at least $5 an hour. Download Park Mobile to make it easier. We have found a few select free spots for our go to so we can keep going without breaking the bank to park. We love walking around, seeing the sunset, going to North Clearwater Beach, visiting the JW Hotel and Opal Resorts, going to Taco Bus, and Parlor Doughnuts, & Going to the Pier. There's so much more I just can't list them all. Clearwater Marine Aquarium is a great visit to see the dolphins up close and personal too. Sugar Sands Fest is great here, & love that we can go here year round and always find something new. North Clearwater Beach is the dog friendly side. read more

Yesterday, I spent all day on a beach in the Bahamas. Today, by chance, I've found myself on a beach in Clearwater, Florida. I must say, if anyone asked my opinion, I'd tell them to save on the overseas hassle and plan a trip to Clearwater Beach instead. This is one of the most beautiful beaches I've seen in the U.S.A. The best part is, you don't need a passport to visit this paradise! Palm Trees & Fluffy Clean White Sand Beaches will have you feeling like you're in a tropical paradise. The only downside is the limited parking. It took me about 35-40 minutes to park. Parking rates aren't too shabby; only $3.00 per hour. Overall, if you're looking for a clean & comfortable beach with warm water, white sands, waves and beautiful views, I highly recommend a visit to Clearwater Beach. I'll definitely make a return visit sometime this summer. ENJOY!!! read more

First time visiting Clearwater Beach. Although it's the week of spring break, I arrive 10:30 in the morning for a good parking option and the beach was not overly packed. The water was a little bit chilly, but it was a beautiful color. It was very relaxing. I recommend arriving early and getting parking directly in front of the beach, which is three dollars an hour as opposed to a parking garage which can cost up to almost $60! read more
Love this beach. The sand is like powdered sugar, the pier is lots of fun with vendors and entertainment. Good bathroom facilities. Easy lounge chairs and umbrella rentals. The parking and traffic?! AWFUL. It's pretty much set up so that only people staying in the hotels can access it without trouble. Do your research on places to park and the cost. So I would recommend going to some other smaller beach in Clearwater that are easier to get to. Like Pass-a-grille, Indian Beach, Sunset Beach, St Pete Beach. Make sure to stay for sunsets. They are spectacular. read more
First time coming to Clearwater beach and wow, the sand was extremely soft and no rocks or shells in sight. The water was light blue and extremely clear and clean. If you do not have your own beach chairs and umbrellas they offer rentals which was nice touch. They had boat and jet ski rentals as well. A very nice beach, younger crowd with families as well. Love this beach! One of my favorites, Clearwater beach offers access to restaurant's, shops and great views of the ocean. Very clean and the set-up (cabana team) were really nice. At Pier 60, you will find a sitting area and activities for children. Great way to spend Christmas! read more
The beach is awesome. There are outside rinsing stations along the sidewalk. There are a few public bathrooms by the water. Chairs, umbrellas and cabanas can be rented while enjoying the sun and sand. Pier 60 has vendors and entertainment starting two hours before sunset. There are various parking lots in the area. You can park close to the beach or find a nearby lot. There are Trolleys that stop around Clearwater. read more

There's nothing quite like the thrill of visiting the beach when it's not a long holiday! The place feels alive with endless possibilities and so much to explore. I absolutely love spending my time watching the stunning sunsets and hanging out late into the night by the shore. While it gets a bit crowded during long weekends, the lively atmosphere is part of the adventure. read more

Beautiful beach, but be prepared to be early. It gets completely mobbed by 11am, you'd be lucky to find a pat h of sand to sit on. One day the water was so rough it wasn't enjoyable,.but the next mu h better. Very warm ocean water Fathers day weekend. Walk to the pier for a breeze & pelicans who aren't afraid of people read more

Lots of sand space on the beach... Barely any parking, unless you're staying at a hotel on the coast or there's a nearby garage parking for $12 an hour. Beautiful beach, once you find parking and a space. Sand feels like powder. read more

Business Name: Clearwater Beach Type of Business: Beach Experience: Clearwater Beach, visually, was comparable to a beach in Aruba. The sand was white and cool enough to walk on, and the water was a clear blue-green. It was a beautiful sight. There were convenient foot-rinse stations and plenty of seashells, which can be fun for kids and adults alike. The water was very clean, with almost no seaweed, and surprisingly warm. Small fish swam near your feet--not for everyone, but I enjoyed it, and many others seemed to as well. The designated swim area, monitored by lifeguards, was the perfect distance before things got too deep. Chair rental prices weren't bad: a beach umbrella with two chairs was $40, a deluxe cabana with two chairs was $50, and a luxury bed with cabana was $80. Extra chairs were $15 each. However, I found it a bit unfair that rentals were only available until 5:00 p.m., though most people don't stay more than four hours anyway. A staff member came by to take payment and offered an option to tip the setup crew. Parking was affordable at $3 per hour and easy to manage. The area also had plenty of food and drink options, a few shops, and a nice pier. There were inflatable rides and trampolines nearby, though they didn't seem worth the cost. Clearwater Beach is a really nice beach and I had an enjoyable experience. My daughter wanted to go to a "real" beach for her birthday and by that she meant a crowded beach with a lot of people, etc. This was perfect for our beach day. We arrived early and were able to find parking. It was a short walk from where we parked to the actual beach. If you aren't staying in the area I recommend arriving early to get decent parking because the lots fill up fast. There is a lot of cool food/drink options close to the beach as well. The pier had a lot of fun activities and there's a playground/restrooms right by the beach. Overall: I recommend if you are looking for a beach with this kind of vibe. If you like a quiet and secluded beach then avoid. read more

No, I've seen a post that they're allowed way up on the North Clearwater Beach.
This is a public access or private?
It's both public and private. There's a paid parking lot by the Wyndham Grand. The chairs on the beach are pay chairs. Bring your own if you want one.
Is there good parking for Clearwater beach?
typically yes, you will have to pay at the kiosk though
Any recommendations on what to do when the parking kiosks just won't read any of your credit cards? We tried the app but the Marina kiosks do not allow you to use the app. It's extremely stressful!!!!
I would call whomever enforces parking and ask them. Start with the Clearwater Police Department. They will know where to direct you.
Hey guys do Clearwater beaches have bbq pits to bbq there?
Sorry not on the beach... but Sand Key Beach just over the bridge does.
