My friend and I came here a bit after noon to pick up a drink. It's near the south edge of campus right on College Street hidden beside the Second Cup. They mostly serve a variety of drinks from bubble tea to coffees to different teas but also some sweets (cakes, pastries) and 1 or 2 meal options (e.g. Kung Pao chicken for $10.99). Their drink prices are competitive compared with other bubble tea places, but their quality seems to be a bit questionable. My friend's pineapple juice with tapioca tasted a bit weird and not that much like pineapple. The tapioca was very chewy though! My chai latte was lukewarm from the start which was definitely a disappointment. I did see some space for chatting in groups as well as lots of students who were reading or studying here.

I think it's boxed food. They just reheated...Look at the color of the pepper...

OK I know it's partially my fault to order food at a Buble tea shop. But the Kongpao chicken was appalling to look at by all means. It was not freshly prepared. I believed it was boxed fast food bought from supermarket or cooked yesterday. The color of the bell peppers was that of pickles. They threw two pieces of steamed broccoli in. The taste was ok since everything was heavily seasoned. Still with the price 11.00 at lunch, I expect something more decent. They had the nerves to put it on menu, and I regretfully tried.

It's in a really convenient location across the street from campus. I go here all the time after class

It's in a really convenient location across the street from campus. I go here all the time when I get hungry. I usually get the kung pao chicken and the original milk tea. I will say it's a bit over priced considering they give you plastic utensils and the portions are pretty small. Overall, the atmosphere is cute and is a great place to study after class.

I completely understand that, with one person working, things get overwhelming easily. When we arrived we just wanted to grab our mobile order, but there was zero eye contact, zero acknowledgement. Because of the time it took to collect our order, which was sitting out, the ice had melted a lot and watered down the flavor. This is not the fault of the overworked staff member. The responsibility falls on the company to not understaff on a summer weekend!

We came back on 2024-12-31 because we received a gift card. We ordered a Chocolate Hazel Delight (large $6.50). We added pearls for +$0.70. It tasted as expected. The customer service was good because there was no one else in the shop. There were 5 small tables and a long counter for standing beside. One table had lots of crumbs on it. The shop was reasonably modern and clean. There is easy-listening music playing in the background. They also sell cakes and cookies (new item) from Bakecode, their sister company. There is free WiFi. The shop is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There is one gender-neutral washroom, but it is not wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Contrary to the weather outside. The young worker behind the counter greeted me with a smile, in spite of their preoccupation in making drinks. I asked her questions to help me narrow down my choice. I settled on a creamy mango with boba. With less ice and less sweetness. It was refreshing and satisfying, next time I will ask for 80% sugar because going down to 50% was too much of a drop. The place is pretty modern inside with an exposed brick interface, it kind of gave me the impression of being on a street in Taiwan. Outside they have this cute street post sign on the side of their building. All in all, service 10 outta 10, ambiance 10 outta 10 (although when I went the only other customer had left, so knowing how loud it gets, I was not able to decipher and that may impact this rating.) And drink... ah 7 outta 10. This is because it came out to be expensive for the size . Will try again.
