Fish fillet with tender tofu in spicy sauce and fish-flavored eggplant
Wei Z.

A pretty good and authentic Chinese restaurant. It's a little small, next to a gas station, but service was fast and nice. The food had a large portion and very flavorful. The fried chicken wings and fish fillet with tofu were especially tasty.

Good food good fried rice and egg rolls. I tried this spot food is good and seasoned well, and As u can see they give a lot of food.

California Roll, Fried Rice

The food was prepared fresh and relatively quick, the service was above par and customer service is something lacking these days but not here. The setting of the interior is very elegant and peaceful.

I haven't been to this spot in years. I forgot how good this place was!…read more Music is always popping here. I came in on a Friday night, and they had a live DJ playing. The music is a mix of EDM, Hip-hop, Rap, and R&B. They have tables and bar top seating. If you have a bigger group, I'm sure you can find a table depending on the time you arrive. There is a lot of seating. To start off, I ordered the Matcha Martini. It was STRONG omg, definitely a sipper, but it was so good. It was creamy and had a good matcha flavor. I love how they added matcha powder on top. For drinks, I also tried their espresso martini and Bubbly Pineapple. The espressos here are good, no complaints. The Bubbly Pineapple is so cute; it comes out with a bubble of smoke you can pop. The drink is very refreshing; it really tastes like pineapple. FYI, the drink has little black seeds, so if you don't like textures in your drink, maybe this one isn't for you. Also the drink came with a little frozen pineapple you can add to your drink once you pop the bubble As an appetizer, I got a dozen raw oysters and decided to add the $5 tobiko (fish eggs). Let me say, they were not stingy with the Tobiko, there was so much on my Oysters, I mean a lot! The oysters were good, and so was the tobiko, but I feel that with so much tobiko, it kind of took away from the oysters. Still good though, especially for $21 for the dozen with the tobiko! It was very filling I'm not gonna lie, I got pretty full with the oysters, but I still had to eat my entree As an entree, I ordered the Short Ribs, which came with rice and a side salad. I didn't think I was going to eat much of my entree since the oysters had filled me up, but I ate the short ribs down to the bone! Every single one of those ribs I devoured, no meat was left on my plate. I didn't have space to eat, but my stomach made space for this. 10/10 would recommend the short ribs, especially with the delicious sauce it came with. I think it's like a fish sauce 10/10 for food and drinks. Bonus: the staff here is really friendly. I really enjoyed my time here. I need to come more often for sure, this is definitely a Katy gem

The meats were very tender, especially the ribeye. You also have the usual selection of raw seafood and veggies in the center buffet line. They also have a side line for hot foods and jelly desserts. Service was excellent. Our waiter Jun was very attentive and friendly, explaining every detail to us during our first visit and always coming by to check on us. They had some technical difficulties with my cooker, so they even gave me a 20% discount just because it was taking a bit longer to boil at first. I would definitely come here more often if I didn't have to drive to the opposite side of town.

Food Hot foods…read moreChicken curry 3/5 Flavor and seasoning was coconutty and savory but chicken quality was tough Shumai and har gao (dimsum) 3/5 Not bad however kinda hard. Soups Spicy soup 3/5 Seasoned so all your protein will have the flavor. The spice is not the main star in the spicy soup. Pork soup 4/5 Could be more porky but subtle and decent for layering meats and veggies Tomato broth 4/5 Cuts the fat of the protein due to slight tartness but not too overpowering so I fairly enjoyed this soupbase! Meats Beware they are thicker than you think so just get one order of each meat cut first before doubling on meats! The quality was fine and tasted fresh. I think my favorite was the pork since I was impressed by how clean it tasted. Beef was again kinda thick but by 4 plates in I got flavor fatigued. Oosthmetheus jelly (10/10) Saved. My. Life. Refreshing and slightly sweet and tart just what I needed! Service 10/10 Very accomodating and attentive however this is a FOOD review so it is not factored in when rating the stars. P.S. they open until 1am on certain days, so that is a plus if you are craving hotpot late at night. Ambiance Chill. I think this place is better for dates or friends however children could go but they wouldn't be able to explore and enjoy the many options due to the young pallete.

We came for lunch around 12 noon on a Saturday, I was expecting a packed house but it was dead. I started off with a Thai green tea. The drink had good tea flavor & it was refreshing with the right amount of sweetness. Then came the appetizers which I order their egg rolls and flight skewers. The egg rolls came out piping hot but very uninspiring. They didn't provide really any veggies for the egg rolls and the sauce was beyond simple. I'll say that it was my least favorite dish. Then I got to try their Skewers which was quite delicious. The chicken was seasoned nicely, I just wanted more char on it. The shrimp was a little overcooked and was the least flavored. The pork was packed with flavor and very lemongrass forward. My favorite was their beef, such high quality meat that is tendered and melt in your mouth. Felt like I was eating a filet mignon on a stick. For our mains I got the banh canh cua & my friend got their pho. The broth was delicious and had a strong crab flavor. They were also not stingy on the meats either. The noodles could've been more firm. My friend pho was fine, the broth needed more oomph. But the brisket and filet mignon was beyond tender. I'm grateful that they use high quality meat to make up for that broth. I mean it wasn't terrible just not that good. Overall, I'll definitely come back again. This is a good spot to dine for lunch or dinner.
