This was a very cute breakfast place. I ordered the dark and stormy which was a bowl with potatoes, jalapeño eggs with a horseradish sauce with eggs in top and some toasts . My husband had " the best sandwich". I preferred the sandwich over the dark and stormy. It's true what everyone else was saying. The potatoes were still raw. It wasn't cooked through. Other people have said that also in their reviews. The fried potatoes that came with the best sandwich was cooked all the way through and it was delish. The food and the service was good. But the entire restaurant was left with dirty tables after the. Customers left. My husband went to the restroom and almost tripped over the broom and dustpan left in the entry way. Also there were cleaning chemicals left out on the chair in the bathroom. Not appealing or safe for a child going on by themself. The staff was just chatting with each other instead of cleaning up dirty table. They did manage to make them selves food left at the counter. I'll start with the most important thing: the food. I got cheesy omelet and had them add peppers and onions. I asked for rye toast and the potato spuds. The omelet was cooked awful and there was an overwhelming amount of raw uncooked peppers and onions in it. There was also a small piece of ham in my omelet that immediately made me sick bc I'm a vegetarian. They brought out white toast instead of rye. The only thing I ate was the spuds. The waitress didn't even notice until she came to bring the check that I wasn't eating. This place is super small and intimate and she should have noticed. I understand she may have been distracted that's fine. But when she asked if I wanted it wrapped I explained there was meat in it and I'm a vegetarian so I didn't want it. I said it's ok we will still pay for it. She apologized but they did keep it on the bill to my surprise! That's fine. My husband's meal was good he got banana foster French toast. I had the best experience with my husband and one of my daughters. There is a lot of things on the menu but I got the when PB met J latte-- it was delicious. It wasn't too sweet, it was just right. My husband and I split the avo-cob-o salad with ranch dressing as our server recommended. It was delicious. We ordered the chicken and waffle dish, the gravy was the highlight of the dish. I've dined at their location in Wall and Middletown seems to have produced the same quality of food but missed the mark on executing what the menu stated. I tried the Elvis which had peanut butter, bacon, and honey. It was supposed to have bananas but I guess they ran out or forgot to put them on. The food was fantastic! They specialize in French Toast. My wife had the Creme Brûlée French Toast special. Delicious! I had their Farmhouse Bowl, their version of eggs over potatoes. Also very good. Service was great. We were seated immediately and our server, TJ, introduced themselves to us within 2 minutes. Both the server and manager came by two or three times during our meal to check on us. Ambience was modern diner and very family friendly. The strip mall is doing construction on the sidewalk. So we had to get around that. Didn't seem to bother anyone, though. Today I came back for the Popeye bowl for brunch. I feel like there's so many ingredients that it's a really great bowl and easy to finish. I usually order this when I come I eat pretty healthy. I feel like this hits the spot and leaves me full for quite a while and it tastes really good. (4/5) My husband got the savory skillet. He finished the whole thing. He said it was good as well. I would consider myself a person who enjoys the sweets when it comes to breakfast. Love me some French toast ,waffles and pancakes. I'd actually say it's my favorite meal. I heard about this place from a friend and I glad she told me. We got a table immediately and are waitress was awesome and have the best suggestions. I got the pumpkin cheesecake waffles( seasonal so they may not still have them when you go) and they were to die for. But then my eye saw they had a 4 cheese grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. This was my 2nd time visiting this location. I really wish they had a few franchises further North. We need good breakfast spots like this in North Jersey. We visiting during lunch hours on a Saturday. We were able to be seated immediately. It's not a very huge restaurant but you don't feel like you're sitting on top of anyone either. Plenty of space to maneuver around. Our waitress was very very sweet and she checked up on our table a lot. We had to wait a little longer then usual I'm guessing. She came and apologized to us for the hold up but the wait wasn't anything extreme. My favorite thing to eat here is the loaded hash. It's sooooooooo good. I had the Fraffle as well. I'm very much into sweets and it was awesome. If you're not a sweets person, then you definitely don't want to order this but it was delicious. My fiancé had an omelette and the Elvis French toast. I went to NJ for the day to visit my friends. One of them works at this location and cooks the French Toast. I went in without having ever had French Toast. I know, can you believe it? I am 27 years old, and I never had French Toast until I came to Meemom's. I figured this would be as good as any spot to try it, given Meemom's is known for its French Toast! I started off with an iced Nutella Me More coffee, and it was amazing! The Nutella rim was a nice touch, and the beverage was so good that I downed it in 3 sips! I went with the S'more French toast with a side of home fries and bacon. I was too stunned to speak at how massive the portions of the French Toast were. On my first bite, I felt my eyes slightly dilate. I was astounded. And really enjoyed my entire meal and the company I was with! I recommend trying any of their French Toast as the types they offer are creative, and the portions are massive. My only criticism was how long it took for us to be seated. They served the sauce on the side as to not get the bread soggy in the delivery process, which I appreciated. I love Meemom's! Been coming here for the last two years or so, and I've never been let down. The place is cute, they have parking, the service is good, and the food is delishhhh. Although the place is filled with patrons and the food is moving, we've luckily never had to wait for more than a few minutes for a table, which is an extra plus. Stopped in there on New Year's Eve at about 2:15 p.m. Had I realized it was so late I would've gone elsewhere figuring that they probably were looking to get home for the holiday, but we were running around all morning and didn't have breakfast. I've eaten in the one in wall Township and always loved it. My husband was never there so I asked him if he wanted to try it. We sat down and we ordered tea and decaf coffee. A few minutes later, the server comes back and tells us sorry we have no decaf coffee. I know it's 2:15 and you're closing shortly, but for the price of a cup of coffee, you could've made a fresh pot even if you had to dump the rest. I was going to leave as my husband was dying for a cup of coffee, but he insisted we stay. We both ordered a breakfast bowl, which was very tasty, and then waited 10 minutes for our toast. When they came over with our toast, all it was was four pieces of regular sourdough bread, untoasted, and one piece of rye bread, which wasn't even cut in half. It was pulled apart and placed on the plate. I realize it was New Year's Eve and they were looking to get home, but then you should've just closed your doors and not served everybody after 2 o'clock.
