They only sold mini pancakes in 4 different sizes, with 6 different flavors of batter. There were about 14 different toppings to choose from. All the pancakes were made right in front of the customers. As they cooked, those get sold right away. They also have few coffee and juices in the menu as well. The associates at the store were very friendly. They were explaining a lot of the guests how it worked. I ordered the short stack (5 pieces) with strawberry and cream signature flavor. Took them about 10 minutes to cook the pancakes and pack them in a paper plate. The pancakes were so soft and fluffy. They had really good taste. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and the service here.

Ordered the Buttermee signature which comes with maple syrup, crispy bacon crumble, and their cinnamon sugar whipped butter. The bacon was crisp however filled with grease that should have been drained from its container. The cinnamon sugar whipped butter was extremely sweet and could be appealing to someone who loves sweet. I just dipped the mini pancakes into the maple syrup. They were extremely light and fluffy but not filling. When ordering I saw the pancakes are supposed to have whipped cream and powdered sugar on them. I asked for that to be removed and the girl taking my order reacted as if I had just committed murder with such drama. It's a good option I guess if you're in a rush but the amount of unnecessary sweet and sugar is a bit overkill in my opinion. There is only a few tables outside to sit so you just have to wait for someone to leave if you are trying to eat there.

My first experience at the Brownstone Pancake Factory was with my daughter and grandbabies, who…read morehave been several times before. Walking in felt like going to a carnival--bright, lively, and full of energy. I initially expected a simple diner, but I quickly realized it's much more; there are so many menu options that it was actually a bit overwhelming in the best way. My daughter ordered an iced vanilla latte along with a California omelette, which came with breakfast potatoes. I had a regular coffee and a croissant sandwich with bacon, ham, and cheese. They also have a great kids' menu. My granddaughter had a blueberry pancake with scrambled eggs on the side, and she absolutely loved it. The service was fantastic--our server was very attentive throughout our visit. The ambiance was also perfect for a mid-Friday morning: lively but still comfortable. Overall, a great first visit, and I can see why my daughter enjoys coming here so often.

Fast moving place to say the least. Gets crowded quickly on special event days like Mothers Day…read more We waited for nearly 90 mins. Not my choice to wait. I don't wait for food. Definitely not 90 mins.. My daughter just had to have Brownstone. The worst part of the wait was their system. They do not notify you by text or restaurant pager. They come to the door and yell out a name. If you miss hearing your name or they mispronounced your name, they pass you by. That's crazy considering the amount of names they get and the house doesn't pronounce it correctly The food: All of our order was VERY good. Only complaint. My skirt steak was cooked well, not medium well. But it was not over cooked. Was still tender and delicious. If you can't tell by all the photos. We took a lot of food home. The waitress was really attentive. But it looked like all the staff was attentive. Not over bearing at all. Super busy place. And they only take 1st come, 1st call. But make a waiting list as it gets crowded. The seating was a little tight. And that was throughout the place. Nice menu selections. So we'll be back to try few other items. Clean restrooms which are a plus for me. DEFINITELY would recommend this place.

My aunt wanted to go here for her birthday and our wait ended up being around an hour and 20min on a Saturday around 10am. You also can't sit until the entire party is there. I ordered the 4x2 -- four delicious pancakes paired with two perfectly cooked over-easy eggs. The pancakes were fluffy, buttery, and incredibly satisfying. I also added a side of home fries with peppers and onions that were cooked just right with great flavor in every bite. And the thick-cut bacon... OMG! Crispy, smoky, and absolutely delicious. We also tried the corned beef hash with eggs and mini pancakes, which was another winner. Everything came out hot, fresh, and generously portioned. A special shoutout to our server Monica, who made the experience even better. She was so friendly, attentive, and constantly stopping by to refill the Kona coffee -- one of my favorites ever since visiting Hawaii. Great service really makes a difference and Monica was fantastic. Highly recommended if you're looking for an amazing breakfast spot with great food, generous portions, and top-notch service. Stop in and ask for Monica!

Our first visit was so positive that I specifically requested to sit with Nick again, and I'm so glad I did. I even brought my twin brother so we could enjoy a special birthday breakfast together, and Nick helped make it truly memorable. Nick is an outstanding waiter--friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely warm. He made us feel welcomed from the moment we sat down and went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. His positive attitude and attention to detail really elevated the entire experience and made our birthday celebration feel extra special. Because of how wonderful this visit was, we will absolutely be back, and not just by ourselves--we'll be bringing friends and encouraging family members and others to visit as well. The Skillet Restaurant has earned lifelong customers, and Nick is a huge reason why. Highly recommend both the restaurant and asking for Nick if you want an exceptional dining experience!

We were seated immediately upon arrival (party of 4 at 11:15 on a Saturday!) and ordered a variety of menu options. Loved the variety of the menu , there was truly something for everyone's taste ! The Lemon Orange ricotta pancake was phenomenal and I love that they offer a single pancake (plain or specialty!) as a side so you can have your sweet treat post meal - more places should do this! The Fried rice under the coconut shrimp wasn't cooked super well; this was probably the most disappointing menu item. Their iced coffee can also be ordered to go; I had a black iced coffee so not much to review but the coffee itself was tasty! Loved the decor of the restaurant but it was very noisy and chaotic. Need something to absorb the noise to make for a much nicer experience. Overall definitely would return, especially if eating outside on a warmer day!

Best Soufflé Pancakes ever!…read more Now that I've actually been to Japan I can honestly say I crave these pancakes more than the ones I had overseas! These pancakes are more fluffier and eggier (I think that's a legit word, LOL), and super rich! If you don't like eggs, don't visit because there is a lot of eggy flavor. I've tried the two dominant flavors, Matcha and Strawberry, and I can't tell which one I like better. The light cream topping is better than any butter or maple syrup I've ever had. There is usually one more flavor that they change from time to time as well which I've heard is great. Going on the weekday avoids the wait. The abnormal hours of operation don't make it easy to visit but if you do you'll definitely enjoy. Book the table on Yelp!

J S Foodies is the latter, a small and cheerful outpost of Tokyo imagination where breakfast behaves like theater. I arrived with my boys and my father in law, a man celebrating another year of survival in a universe that has not yet figured out how to improve pancakes. The space is small, and the famous Kiseki pancakes take their time, about twenty to thirty minutes, as if they are being persuaded into existence rather than cooked. These Kiseki pancakes are not pancakes in the American sense. They are soufflé style creations, tall and trembling, as if gravity is only a suggestion. They arrive airy and delicate, with a gentle jiggle that suggests optimism. We ordered accordingly. I had the lemon ricotta, which tasted like sunlight had been filtered through dairy. My oldest chose matcha, green, purple and quietly sophisticated and complex. My youngest went with the original maple, a classic executed so well it made the classics feel new again. All were excellent, the sort of food that makes conversation pause because mouths are busy being grateful. My father in law ordered what I personally considered a cautious breakfast. Regular pancakes with eggs and bacon. A meal that could have been assembled in any roadside diner between here and forever. Yet even this was handled with care. The eggs were perfect, the bacon honest, the pancakes dignified. No irony, no shortcuts. Yes, the prices are a little steep. But this is not a place for routine nourishment. This is a place for occasions, for birthdays, for reminding yourself that breakfast can aspire to something like art. Five stars, because sometimes the world surprises you by getting something exactly right.
