Afriend suggested Turning Point for breakfast, and I realized that for some reason I always overlook this location. I started with the Salted Caramel MochaChino which is not my usual order. It's good and decadent and will put you in a deep slumber. I finished around 1/3 of it. I got the Pavo Cubano Sandwich (because I ALWAYS get eggs for breakfast and I'm trying to push myself these days, YOLO or whatever) and it was perfect. The right bread to meat ratio, great texture, and the leftover half tasted as good the next day. The potatoes were a tad extra crispy but still tasty. I'm from out of town and was looking for a nice place to eat breakfast on a Sunday. Upon entering, I was met by the warm, friendly staff, so things were off to a good start. There were plenty of families here, mostly locals it seemed. They have a great menu with creative takes on some classics. I chose the Big Easy Benedict, and it was fantastic. An explosion of flavors that all work well together and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The cheese grits were also some of the best I've had. I love turning point- they have several locations and although some are better run than others I do find the food to be fairly consistent. I always order the Wilbur skillet and chai latte. I stopped by this location with friends and although they are pretty under staffed....the team couldn't have been nicer. We enjoyed a great meal and didn't feel rushed out either. Wilbur skillet didn't disappoint and we ordered chocolate chip pancakes as well which was huge! Definitely recommend for the table to share!!! read more

Food was good. They burned my Taylor ham that was on my egg and cheese. Yes I'm from North Jersey and yes it's Taylor ham. I was in a group with six men and sat in a nice round Booth so we can see the sidewalk. I came to Turning Point this weekend with a group of friends for brunch. I loved that the website allows you to put yourself on the waitlist in advance to shorten the wait. Upon arrival we waited about 10 more minutes to be seated. The restaurant is nicely decorated and is deceivingly big with both indoor and outdoor seating. Our server was friendly and took our drink orders right away. We had a combination of cold brews and one friend ordered the tropical bliss smoothie, which she loved. I was a little disappointed at the speed of service as it look us a long time to get our drinks and food but overall the food was very good. I really enjoyed the big easy eggs Benedict with the side citrus salad. Everyone was happy with their meals which made up for the wait. All in all, turning point is a good brunch spot so I'll would recommend checking it out. read more

This place is so cute and has such good options on the menu. I appreciate that the calories are next to the salad (just make sure that they are correct and consistent as the one online was different than the physical one at the location).. I ordered the Martha's Vineyard salad which was DELICIOUS! Such a perfect balance of savory and sweet which I love. The chicken was grilled and seasoned to perfection... adding that to mango, shredded coconut, strawberries, candied walnuts and a delightful cilantro honey dijon dressing that I could dip everything in... and it was just amazing. Will definitely be my go- to salad. I was very disappointed in the iced peach tea that I purchased.. was a waste of $3 as tasted like colored water (whatever you think that would taste like)... no hint of peach or anything else for that matter. I am sad to say that I had to walk out of little silver location this morning . My wife and I were seated and every member of the staff walked by our table multiple times over a 15 minute period with not even a I'll be right with you . Although the food is always top notch the staff is a bit young on Sundays more than likely the reason the service suffers . After fasting for a medical procedure you are definitely looking forward to some good food! Unfortunately, that is what we didn't get at this local eatery. We have frequented this location Pre-pandemic for nice breakfasts but definitely things have changed, maybe the cook. My simple order must not have impressed said cook enough to even bother to heat up the already overcooked, hard and tasteless cubed potatoes. Eggs were meh and what supposedly was passing as a bagel looked poverty stricken and nabbed from the local hospital cafeteria. Bagel was not toasted but lightly warmed, although burning it may have added a little taste to an otherwise bleak plate that made me want to cry as we actually had to pay for it. I have been going to Turning Point inLittle Silver regularly since it opened 25 years ago. The restaurant has greatly expanded but the service has become terribly. We were seated in the back room this morning and waited over 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge that we we were there and then only because I caught the attention of one of the servers. There seemed to be plenty of servers in other parts of the restaurant but just one overworked young man in the back. The food was very good as it usually is. When we finished we waited almost 20 minutes for the check, again I had to ask a busser to find someone to get us a check. Do not let them seat you in the back. Went here with my mom a few weeks ago. We didn't mind the wait at all--it was prime time for brunch and there is free coffee while you wait. They stuck us right next to the front window and it was FREEZING. We both had to keep our winter coats on and I had to keep my hands in the pockets while we waited. The food is always amazing but the service was incredibly lacking. We saw our waiter once the entire meal (to take our order) so we couldn't ask for refills on our drinks or hot sauce unless we got up to find someone. Also, since it's so crowded inside because of the wait, there were people lining up at the front of the restaurant and spilling over to our side. There were people's behinds 1 foot away from where we were eating the entire meal which was annoying and unpleasant. We finished our meals quickly due to the freezing temperatures and waited for 15 minutes for the waiter to come back over for the check (which never happened). I had to track him down in the restaurant to get our check and there was no apology or any recognition of fault. I totally understand that they're busy and probably overworked but a simple "sorry" would have made all the difference. We love TP but will not be returning to this location. read more

This place is just ok. There was a long wait for a party of 4 at 8:45am. The pancakes were so overcooked they were dried out. I was hoping for light fluffy yummy pancakes, we got giant hockey pucks.
