For a steak place, I would have expected the cook on it to be perfect. The first round was tender and cooked well to my request of medium. The second round was more well done and chewy. The mushrooms were okay. Probably wouldn't get them again.

I love this place and their speciality. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is designed and decorated very nicely and there is a good amount of seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service is great. The servers and bartenders are very welcoming and friendly. The food tastes good and I especially like their brunch. For 35$ you get bottomless drinks, a starter, bread, and a main entree. It's hard to get this kinda price in the city anymore.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]When you walk in, the place is much smaller than expected.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was initially unsure about the one-set menu, but I figured since it's all they offer, they must do it well--and for the most part, they did. I ordered a dirty martini and was surprised they only had Tito's, but it didn't disappoint. I also had an espresso martini; it didn't come with the traditional coffee bean garnish, which surprised me, but it was still decent. Honestly, no complaints about the drinks overall. My friend ordered a Moscow mule, and once again I was surprised they didn't serve it in a mule cup, but the flavor was excellent. They start you off with bread, which was good, followed by a salad. I asked for the dressing on the side, and it had the perfect amount of flavor--very enjoyable. The steak was cooked exactly how I like it (medium), but unfortunately it arrived cold. I really dislike cold food, but I decided to eat it anyway. I asked for the gravy on the side, which was delicious, though I preferred it more on the fries than on the steak itself. A pleasant surprise was receiving a second round of steak and fries, which honestly became the highlight of my dinner. The steak that time was slightly more cooked than I wanted, but the server quickly brought me a freshly cooked one that was perfect--and hot this time--which I really appreciated. Even though I was skeptical about the limited menu, the food was solid, and I can see why people enjoy coming here. The biggest downside is that they don't offer a QR code or validation discount for the parking garage right up the street. Other than that, it's a well-deserved 4 stars.

Awesome brunch thank you so much for the bday surprise. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This place is so great!!![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I created my bday. The steak and eggs are great. The drinks are great. The serve is outstanding.

Brunch steak & eggs. I ate the steak and over-salted fries, but the egg whites were runny and the sauce was gross. SO salty and soggy.

Extremely overpriced, small portions, poor quality, and bad service. If eating overpriced cafeteria quality food while listening to Doja Cat on full volume, receiving the wrong sides, and being ignored by your server is your thing, then this is the place for you! The "perfectly poached" eggs had super runny whites, the sauce tasted like it came from one of those powdered gravy packets, and the fries were over-salted. I couldn't even tell you if the steak was good because it was so drenched in that crappy sauce I couldn't really taste it. I just wiped the steak and fries off as much as I could and didn't touch the rest. So awful.

It's SO, SO good at Medium Rare. It has a simple menu of bread, salad, and steak frites with an amazing sauce. For many, it is perfect. (Note that there is a vegan option of a mushroom with tomato sauce.) The service is terrific. Shout out to our server Tabitha. There are five different dessert options which are large and delicious. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would caution that you know that the restaurant in Bethesda is really loud (but great if you love the loud 80's and 90's bands) and very tight/crowded.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Make sure you get a reservation because on a Saturday night the walk-ins could only sit outside under the heat lamps or vie for one of the four bar seats.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was ok and our server that night was not that great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The concept seems weird but for many it's a whole vibe so if its your thing go for it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The fries in my opinion could've been way better if thats gonna be one of your main dishes but the steak was good but I was not a fan of the sauce and woukd definitely ask for it on the side as a first timer. I would still recommend it to try something new and to form your own opinion

The only thing on the menu (steak and fries). The above item is sliced portobello mushrooms with a tomato sauce.

I was visiting Bethesda recently and was looking for an affordable steak and ran into this place. I didn't do my research and got here to realize they only had one thing on the menu so that was weird especially since I came here with my supervisor. We decided to just try it and I will say the sauce on top of the steak was phenomenal but the steak was just alright. Although I can't say anything bad about the place but doubtful I'll ever return due to the lack of choices.

So the overall experience was about a three star, what brought me to this? What's the combination of a few things. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Let's start with the ambience, it was nice, quiet, welcoming, but very very restricted of space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I really wish that they would have sat us at a bigger table that had a little bit more over[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]], the service was great, they were very attentive and ready to suggest items as well as recommend different choices. When the food came out, it look great but some plates were hot and others cold. Unfortunately, I was the one with the cold. When I requested for my meal to be remade the server, gracefully apologize, and placed that request. When I receive my food, the second time it was still incorrect, it was overcooked plus the portions were small, but I was told that this was because it was brunch and not dinner which I guess it's understandable

If you're into bottomless mimosas for brunch with your friends you might want to give Medium Rare a try. Don't expect tacky IG worthy decor though. I opted for the Steak and Eggs with your side of fries. The brunch set also includes a choice of salad, Greek yogurt, or a fruit bowl. Screw Drivers, Mimosas, and Bloody Mary, for your non-alcoholic friends there's always orange juice. Best part yet no time limit. The staff make sure you have your drinks refilled in time when asked.

Do you have a bar to eat at too?

Yes. It's small, only 5 chairs.

Sounds like there are no options for vegetarians? Disappointing!

It definitely books up so I'd be sure to snag a reservation - walking in is nearly impossible. Even trying to grab a spot at the bar on a week night is first come first serve, and there's not much room! Something I don't love about Woodmont is you can only get a table of 4 people max, no exceptions. I wish I could have come here with my entire family, but I would have been forced to pick my favorite 3 Lol While they don't make any menu abbreviations or changes (no espresso martinis :( oh well) - the crush with pressed grapes and mint is my absolute favorite. You have to start with some sushi - the Osaka style pressed roll is the best, but I've also enjoyed the spicy tuna roll and the tuna mango roll. I would say my favorite item on the entire menu is a sleeper pick - the kale rotisserie chicken salad is to die for. I would lick the plate clean - something about the roasted peanut vinaigrette and the elevated chicken!! While the fried chicken sandwich is often only available for lunch, if you can snag it you should. The French dip is the best sandwich on the menu, although the cheeseburger has caught my eye as well. If you have any room left, their soft serve with fudge pour over is the best! The service here is top notch - expect your martini to be reputed into a cold glass half way through, your drink order to be taken and ready before you even meet your server, and the crumbs to be wiped between courses. If you come for nothing else, come to be impressed by the staff!

My company and I have different likes so we disagreed on favorites but the good news is someone loved everything! We tried the short rib and salmon sliders. Short rib has sweet flavor. I would order both again. The friend pickles were what you'd think they would be but I was wanting a stronger pickle flavor. The crab beignets were a hit for both of us. The broiled potatoes had too much of a garlic flavor for me. Tasted good but honestly would've been better if they came as advertised, broiled potatoes. No garlic oil which clashed with the side of ketchup. Just crispy salted potatoes would've complimented the meal better. Everything was happy hour prices which I loved because it allowed me to try lots of things. It's worth the early seating and I'll definitely be back. Again, kudos to the awesome staff!

It was a lovely way to spend the afternoon, and overall we had a pleasant experience. My mom enjoyed an Arnold Palmer, while I ordered the Saint Tropez Spritz, a refreshing blend of elderflower, limonata, and mint that was perfect for brunch. We each started with a comforting bowl of Onion Soup Au Gratinée, topped with a generous layer of melted Jarlsberg cheese. For the table, we shared the Pot of Mussels Marinière, prepared with leeks, onions, garlic, white wine, and herb butter, along with the Escargots de Bourgogne, which were rich, buttery, and packed with garlic herb flavor. My parents also shared a Caesar Salad, but unfortunately they couldn't enjoy the Caesar dressing because it contains chili oil. It would be wonderful if the restaurant offered a traditional Caesar dressing without chili oil for guests with dietary restrictions or sensitivities. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Niçoise Salad and made sure to communicate my food allergies and pepper sensitivity before ordering. Unfortunately, the tuna arrived blackened and was much too spicy for me. Thankfully, our server handled the situation professionally and had the kitchen replace the tuna with salmon, which I appreciated. The food quality was generally very good, and the staff was accommodating once the mistake was brought to their attention. My only suggestion is to improve allergy awareness in the kitchen and consider offering a non-spicy Caesar dressing option. Those changes would make the dining experience much more enjoyable for guests with food sensitivities.

I hope management addresses this behavior so future customers receive the courteous service they deserve. What made the experience even worse was that we reported the incident to the manager and another bartender, but it seemed like our complaint didn't matter. Nothing was done to address the situation, and no one appeared concerned about how we had been treated. Customer service was nonexistent. I expect to be treated with basic courtesy and respect when visiting an establishment, and unfortunately that did not happen. I ordered the bleu cheese and truffle burger with the Cabernet Sauvignon. We also added the mushroom truffle arancini appetizer from the happy hour menu. Minutes after ordering we got the complimentary bread basket. It was warm and covered by a white napkin. It included crisp flatbread, 2 pieces of onion focaccia, 2 poppyseed rolls and 2 pieces of brown bread with raisins. Bread was tender on the inside and slightly chewy on the outside, very fresh. Every type was delicious. The arancini were gold ball sized (5) and topped with Parmesan sitting on a thick rich sauce. The interior had creamy risotto and black mushroom. A great starter and not too heavy. The burgers were thick patties (cooked medium) with a perfect outside char. Inside was lightly pink and very juicy. It was topped by blue cheese, truffle, Bibb lettuce, tomato and pickles, topped by a poppyseed brioche bun. Was rich and yummy, everything went well together. Fries were crisp. My companion had the mushroom Swiss burger and enjoyed. Wine was smooth, fruity and had great depth, with no bitterness. It shone almost as much as the Wagyu. Service was excellent and gracious.
