This pharmacy is now known as Auburn pharmacy. I have dealt with them for over a year now and they have gone out of their way to get my medicine to me even under stressful situations. We've been customers at The medicine shoppe / Auburn Pharmacy and compounding Center for three years now, but no more. We ended up switching pharmacies because there was a huge problem. My mother just went through major foot surgery and is recovering at home, which I told our contact there. This person had told us to contact only them with any concerns or prescription refills that we needed, so I did. I told her that we needed my mother's Nexium filled, she has to take the 40 mg tabs in order to keep gerd, heartburn, and other lovely things down. Despite knowing this, the contact insisted that she couldn't get ahold of anyone at the primary doctor's office. She then suggests that I should call. The number she has is exactly the same as mine. In other words, no matter who is calling, you still have to go through the call tree no matter what. There's no magic number that goes straight to the doctor. this went on for two weeks, with my mother having to take over-the-counter Nexium in the meantime which helped but didn't fully subdue her symptoms. I finally got so frustrated with her, that I ended up switching to our primary doctors offices Pharmacy. I came to discover yesterday when I called Medicare that the "Prior Authorization" that our contact at Auburn Pharmacy had been complaining about, was not even eligible. It had expired in March of 2020... I have been trying to fill this prescription all month so far for July of 2020. She never once mentioned that to me. if it weren't for Medicare, we would never have gotten this settled and Mom would still be without her prescription. The bottom line is I would never recommend this place to anyone, they're not open on weekends and they don't seem very interested in helping you as all the other reviews will claim. read more

I changed to this Pharmacy about a year ago on Auburn Street and have been very satisfied. They are professional, efficient friendly. They follow through with all my requests in a timely manner and with minimal to no errors. All the staff from the pharmacist, pharmacy techs to the delivery personnel they are all very helpful and friendly. I am so glad to be with this pharmacy now. I had high hopes when I decided to use the medicine shoppe on Auburn for my pharmacy needs. I went in two weeks before I planned on switching pharmacy. I give list of my medication and the doctors to pharmacy technician (PT). I asked if they are able to bundle medication into AM/PM packets. She said yes. At that point, She brought out the bubble packs to show them to me and said they had free delivery. Perfect. She said she would contact my doctors and everything will be there when I need my process my orders. I left feeling pretty good. Two days prior to needing my medications, I went back to the shoppe. I placed my orders. The PT said I could wait 20 minutes before everything would be ready. I said I would pick them up tomorrow. The next day when I arrived, the medication was in bubble pack for each medication and bundle into AM/PM. Additionally, one of my critical meds was missing. The PT said sorry. It was to be in later in the morning. I asked why hadn't someone call me, she said sorry, but they deliver the med for me. Later in the day I get the call to tell come pick up my medication. I said I thought you were going to delivery. Oh he left already...sorry. I drove back into town. I walked in and asked for my medication. The PT said the delivery man has it and he coming back...sorry. The PT who took my order the day before said she "went back to my desk and forgot about the delivery instructions...sorry" I asked for the district manager number and was told this was a franchise store. I am concern about competencies of people who are handing my life sustaining medication. The franchise, in my opinion, has done a very poor job in training in ownership and critical function of their roles. read more

The People who work at Auburn Pharmacy are Outstanding. The service is terrific! They moved All of my medications from another pharmacy so quick and easy. I'm now known by voice and by sight. My medications are Always ready ahead of schedule. If I call in for a refill or drop off a new prescription it's ready in 15-20 minutes, not 4 hours like my last chain pharmacy. This place is awesome. My refills are done so fast. The longest I've had to wait was about 20 minutes from the automated rx refill call and I get a text as soon as it's ready. I'm in and out so fast. The only drawback is that they aren't open on weekends, but if you plan your prescriptions, it's not an issue. They also have a drive-thru. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I walked into the store this afternoon approx. 4:45 pm 10/27/2016. NO ONE was in line. 1 customer was counseling with the pharmacist. The customer fininshed and sat down in a chair against the wall. I waited patiently for literally 5 minutes while 3 of the 7 staff members made eye contact with me and smiled, yet none of them acknowledged whether I was being helped. Apparently I had to ask for help. I said politely to the pharmacist, " excuse me , may I have some help here?" in a calm yet frustrated tone. This less than inept service has happened on more than 3 occasions. To the future customer: I strongly suggest you take your business somewhere else; especially if you need weekend help. A piece of advice to the owners and/or managers; Train your staff customer service skills. If you, the manager, do not know what customer service is, you'd better get some training! read more

Had my prescriptions with them for a year mostly without a problem. Went in today with a new prescription to fill. They said I could pick it up in 15-20 minutes. Went back and the counter girl handed me the paper prescription back and said they couldn't fill it. So I asked do they just need to order it in and I can pick it up the next day? The counter girl just said I don't know we can't fill it you'll have to try somewhere else. I will try somewhere else... I have 14 prescriptions synced with those people. But not after today. My family has been with this pharmacy for 5+ years. I don't go to the larger chain pharmacies because customers are treated like a number, and if there is ever a problem with a prescription, nobody knows how to fix it. I don't have that problem at Auburn Pharmacy. Also, they are always very fast even when they are busy. The longest I've ever had to wait is 20 minutes. They are friendly, and the pharmacist usually greets me by name when I come in. There is also a drive-thru and free delivery available. We are moving soon and I hope I can find a Pharmacy like this one in my new neighborhood. read more

The people who work here aren't helpful nor do they pay attention to the correct prescription given. I had placed my prescription with them and they gave me a complete different one than what was on my slip. I would highly recommend not going here...
