    The woman who answered the telephone on Tuesday, 19 November 2024 approximately 1:30 - 2:30…read moretimeframe; she was too angry immediately to reveal her name. As a new patient, moreover my primary care physician recommended me. I simply wanted to schedule an appointment for my husband. The woman who answered the telephone started out very passive aggressive but I thought maybe she's having a bad day. No, she's simply unprofessional and rude. I proceeded to explain that I'd like to schedule the appointment when she asked about our insurance (we're retired) but, I work part time and didn't have my insurance card with me. I explained that I'm at work but, I'd be happy to call back after. She obliged me with the most odd verbal reaction. I thought to myself, "maybe she's just really not having a good day". This is possible however, it is NOT ok to treat people in the manner which I was treated. I call back when I returned home in an attempt to yet again make an appointment with Dr. Daniel Green, but to my surprise she answered the phone again. NO problem I was polite and began explaining our insurance with Medicare Part B and my other insurance as well but she responded different than what I've been used to; she says, we'd be expected to pay a specific amount and, I responded "Oh my, do you have an idea how much"? She very abruptly told me, "I DON'T even KNOW HIM (referring to my husband) but, I didn't understand how that impacted what I've asked. She was so rude I told her, "I'm going to go ahead and hang up because you're obviously having a really bad day but, I do wish for you a much better day". What I wanted to say was very different. Everyone just beware, you DO NOT deserve to be treated or, talked down to because someone is having a bad day. Moreover, why see a physician where the staff approaches you in such a rude manner. You might not believe your voice matters but, it does. There are tons of physicians who'd be happy to receive you as a new customer.
