The staff was not at all…read morehelpful as I was looking for new glasses, so consequently I chose frames that did not fit at all. They sit too close to my face and are constantly smeared. I had to clean them 8~10 times a day. When I returned to have them adjusted, I was curtly told there was nothing they could do. After months of frustration, I ordered a pair from Eyebuydiret that were a quarter of the cost and have more features. I now have a very expensive pair of glasses I never wear.

Whenever I saw him, I knew that I had his full attention and that he was not hurrying to see his next patient. In each of my visits with him, his staff was wonderful, kind, sincere and professional. For each of the two surgeries, the staff was great, again explaining everything and not hurrying and concerned that I not feel any discomfort. The staff asked a lot of questions and for each set of questions, two different staff members each asked the same questions which was comforting that they take such care to make sure that someone had not missed something important. And during the surgery for which I was anesthetized only to be relaxed, Dr. Futterman explained each step and made sure that I was not discomforted. He bestows a great gift, the ability to see. He cares about you as a person.

Then there are at least 2 other places to wait for a total of an hour and a half usually. You need better scheduling so that people during a workday aren't forced to take off half a day.
