This is by far the shitiest internet service provider I've ever experienced..... constant, CONSTANT interruption. I work from home and I have my workstation connected directly to the router and no exaggeration every single day my workstation disconnects at least 3 to 4 times a day and for several minutes. When you call to inquire about it they never take ownership they always try to send someone out..... due to where I live I am forced to use them but if I had other options I'd drop this shitty ass company in a heartbeat. read more

The worst Internet cable phone service company I have ever had to endure in my life. I'm so Excited to cancel all these services with Mediacom, And if I could've gave them no stars I would've cause they don't deserve any stars. read more

I've been with Media Com for the past 6-7 years. Up until now they've been great. About a year ago I entered into a contract that was a very good deal. It was my understanding it would increase the second year by only $10. Well the second year started and it increased by $20. I called Media Com and the person I spoke with was rude and really didn't care. She just read her script that I'm sure is the same script everyone gets. When she hung up I got the line "we appreciate your business." I told her "no, you don't." Terrible phone service and very rude phone rep. Internet service is good though so at least rated one star. Looking for different service !!! read more

My visit was way less than pleasant. They must screen for the most obnoxious, rude and moronic and put them at the top of the list. I go to turn in equipment, I open the door, I go in and am greeted by this miscreant who blurts out that there is to be only 1 person in the store at a time and asks didn't i read the sign! No hello or other greeting just a command to get out and wait your turn. If you want abuse then this is the place for you, if not mail your stuff in. read more

I have had an issue with Mediacom since April 15th - Have taken off of work 5x to be home for a "tech" to come fix the cable- internet-phone. In the 5x that Mediacom has been out - the phone is the only thing fixed!!!! Worse Customer Serivce!!!! Will be going to DISH! read more

STAY AWAY! On July 8 I paid $84.70 for new service to be connected July 23. On that day the technician informed me he couldn't connect because they couldn't provide service to my lot (??) Today is Sept. 17th and I'm still waiting for my refund, even after multiple emails and calls to customer service. read more

Customer service on the 888 line is horrible. It took 6 weeks to be able to set up my service, and so call after call after call...... Finally got someone to do something and had service technician scheduled. We waited for 2 hours and then I used the bathroom. Note, that if you miss the call that they are coming that's it, your call is cancelled. Better take that phone into the shitter with you. I missed the call by 2 min. He already went home for the day, ??? Customer service was of no help other than pointing out my bad for missing the call. Now I wait another week for the service guy again...... read more

Absolute worst internet service I have ever had! Internet never works even though we pay for one of the fastest internet packages they offer! We had a tech come out and fix it once then a few days later back to shit, then the second tech never showed up when scheduled! They always tell you they have outages and that someone is out working on it and it never gets better! DO NOT I repeat DO NOT give this company your money for the shit they call service! read more

The worst company in the WORLD!! My internet has been out for over a month. The original tech said he couldnt fix it and someone else would be out that same day. No one ever showed up. I've called in every few days trying to get someone to come out & fix it. The reps keep escalating my repair ticket and telling me someone will be there between 8a-8pm the next day but no one has ever showed up in the entire month its been out. I had to argue with a rep for 30mins before she finally transfered me to a manger, but speaking to a manager did no good either. The reps nor the managers are able to do anything to help customers it seems...the best they can offer is a bill credit. Well yes I'll take the credit , I'm not paying you for service I didn't have. Wish I could give them zero stars. Horrible company...do not waste your money on a company that doesn't care about their customers and only gives them the run around when they call in. read more

The absolute worst! Have not had internet for 2 weeks. Cannot get anyone to call me with status update. I've spent hours trying to resolve the issue. Waited on hold every day. Still no internet. I would not recommend this mediacom to anyone. 0 stars. read more

If you want to pay lots of money for WiFi that doesn't work this is the company!! Had people coming in at least once a month to try to fix our signal. Had a shitty motum requested a new one and the guy showed up with NO MOTUM. These people have no clue what they're talking about, no wonder they can't keep any business! read more

The most inconsistent internet provider I have ever used! Pitiful pitiful pitiful. Constantly having outages.

Wish I had read these review before I signed up & paid $215. We're snowbirds & have used MediaCom in the past without any problems but this year is a disaster. Had it installed on Sunday 11/7/21 by that evening it was out & has remained out ever since. Many calls later I was told I would be placed on a priority call list to get service earlier than Thursday between 1-5. Called this morning & there is no note on the account for priority service, So those reps that you talk to out right lie just to get you off the phone. That is totally unethical as a business practice. No cable & no internet for 5 days yet they cashed my deposit immediately. If this service continues, I will notify my bank that this is fraud, cancel any further attempts at service & switch to Direct tv. I don't need this aggravation and poor customer service. And whoever Travis W is who responds to these reviews, my guess he's a robot because he says the same thing to everyone. They simply don't care because they have no competition. read more

I would prefer not give them ANY stars!! They are the WORST company I have ever dealt with! If you have a choice do NOT use this Company!! For 5 months I tried to resolve an issue with them over-charging us for data we did not use. I asked for their help in figuring out what was going on - we did everything they suggested and still were charged for thousands of GB that we never used. A service tech accused us of being "Gamers" more than once!? - we are retired people who were outside of the house most of time while in AZ and not even suing the internet. I called (multiple times!) and tried to resolve the bills, and over the limit data charges that kept coming and they refused to credit us for the over-charges even though it was being "investigated" they said. They sent out 2 Techs and stated we would not be charged as the issue was being investigated - instead they charged us $50 each time. We finally gave up and stopped using their modem - unplugged it and used our phone hot spot - and it STILL said we were using GB of data?! We turned the modem in and said CANCEL the service we are done with this company - and because we were leaving the state (AZ), and I was so fed up with trying and trying to resolve this, I asked for the total balance due to clear the account and paid close to $500 - (most of which was data over-charges!!), then left the state to come back home to our state. A month later I receive a bill for service for the last month plus past due charges for a total of $102.00??!! When I looked online at Mediacom - manage my account - it showed us using 30 GB of data and 2 devices on and connected?? There is no modem and no one is even there - and has not been there for a month??! How do we use data with no modem and 2 devices connected while we are not even there?? This is just proof to me that we were definitely over-charged for the whole 5 months we were there. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and may just call a lawyer to sue them for the close to $500 I have already paid them! When I called to get this latest amount removed from my account I was told I had to go into the local office (I'm in MN and the local office is AZ?!!) because when I turned in the modem THEY did not put in a disconnect request! (WHAT???). She finally put in a request for a "review" to credit this latest amount - told me it would take 3 days and then I could check back to see if it was approved?? What a complete NIGHTMARE!! read more

do not get there service if you have a choice. reliability sucks. service is terrible have been trying to get my internet repaired so it doesn't go out numerous times a day for over 3 months and all ive got is the run around and nothing fixed. speed is only half of what i should get. read more

I signed up for Medicacom on Saturday March 28,2020 in Apache Junction, AZ. The tech that came out said there was a problem and would need to put in a maintenance order. It is now Friday April 3,2020. No one has come back, and every time I call I get the automated system telling me I have an appointment between 8 and 8, that I don't need to be home because it is all outdoor work. I can see the pole from my home, it is 6 feet from me, no one has come out. When you try to talk to someone, you get someone in India that is not helpful at all, or you get a tech that tells you "they are working on it". Worst customer service for a new customer ever! read more

every time i hear a mediacom ad, i want to scream; they provide crap. for 6 weeks, from 9pm to 7am, we have no television. even before that, any time it rains, we have no cable. we've had servicemen out, at our great inconvenience, repeatedly, when they do show up. they have no clue! does mediacom have a clue, or do they just not give a crap?!? i call to have our charges for those times reversed, since we have no service & have been told i must call every day if we don't want to pay for what we're not getting, incredible!!!!! please don't reply mr business owner with some lip service, because you should have contacted us with an apology and explanation yourself independent of this review. you're despicable! read more
