Shiitake mushroom and pork belly baos
    Heithem E.

This evening for carry out - I grabbed some baos- steamed fluffy buns with different fillings. I got one of each: shiitake mushroom, cheeseburger, Korean fried chicken and pork belly. They weee all delicious. Next time I would get kimchi on the side as it made some of the baos soggy by the time I got home. I especially liked the pork belly and whittle mushroom baos but they were all delicious! They took less than 19 minutes to prepare and the staff was friendly and attentive. I would definitely come back for dine-in!

The restaurant is very nice and clean. The service was also fine. I tried to the Pho because I've been looking for good pho, and it definitely disappointed. One of the recommendations is to add bone marrow oil to the pho and I would NEVER recommend it to anyone. I like bone marrow, but I could not get the flavor out of my mouth and it made me feel kind of queasy. I also thought some of the food was kinda expensive for what it was.

Smash Burger Bao, Korean Fried Chicken Bao, and Vietnamese Coffee

I've wanted to try Mecha Noodle Bar since I heard about the burgers using Bao as a bun. I didn't realize the Smash Burger Bao is an appetizer, but that's okay. I tried that and the Korean Fried Chicken Bao appetizers with a Vietnamese Coffee. The Bao were exquisite and the coffee was flavorful and delicious. I didn't have a lot of time so I ordered the Tonkotsu 3.0 (NOT pictured) to go. I wish I did have time to eat it fresh in the restaurant, but I will say the takeout packaging is perfect. Mecha packaged the broth separate from the food. When I got home, the broth was still hot and it was also delicious for my first Ton Katsu experience. When I went to Mecha in the early afternoon, it wasn't busy, being directly between lunch and dinner and I wonder if it is hard to get a table during actual meal times. The tables were clean, the decor was cool, and the staff were pleasant.

Trying to keep this one as honest as possible. We came for the first time to get lunch. Our food was great. The restaurant was cute and felt clean. Service, like many others mentioned was spotty. Food came out fast, but trying to get water refills or the bill after that was near impossible. Unfortunately about 8-10 hours after we ate here, my husband came down with food sickness. He hadn't eaten anything else strange in the time frame and while I can't be positive it happened here, it feels quite likely. Between our meals, the only items I didn't consume were the egg and pork in his tonkastsu ramen. As previously stated, everything tasted great. My husband loved his ramen, but it also may have been contaminated.

The restaurant is modernly designed and spacious. Our server was very friendly and shared some of his favorite dishes. We ordered all the bao buns from the menu, except for the fried chicken one since they ran out. Their Thai bubble tea was very tasty too, and they can make it an alcoholic drink as well. They have ramen and pho on the menu, and we tried both. The noodle texture was spot on, and the broth was flavorful. Don't forget to get their house-made chili oil on the side! It's not very spicy, but definitely helps add more flavor. I really like this spot! It's my second time here and everything is delicious. I can't wait to bring my friends. I highly recommend the spicy beef ramen.

Not the best parking location but one of the best asian fusion restaurant. They offer a vast menu variety of different asian cuisine. Tonkotsu ramen was very flavorful but too salty to drink as a soup alone. The pork belly was nicely charred and the marinated egg was seasoned and cooked perfectly, one of the best egg. The red chili oil dumplings is the highlight thou. It's not spicy and the dumplings is perfectly fried and stuffed fully with meat. The sauce seasoning was perfect, making me feel like adding rice to it. Thai milk tea came out beautifully layered and was what I needed after eating the ramen. It would be better without the boba as it's a bit hard and not the best. Maybe I will get it without boba next time and try it spiked.

One of my favorite foods is Ramen and Mecha didn't disappoint. While it was busy, we were still quickly seated, and the staff went above and beyond. Our food was out in a matter of minutes, and I was pleased with how the Ramen was cooked and tasted. I highly recommend this restaurant if your Ramen connoisseur like myself

This noodle bar is so cute ! Right on high street with the cutest interior, the best patio, and the best playlist (major win). Stopped by ab 2 weekends ago & loved what i ordered! The KFC buns were gone before i could take a picture.... Sorry lol. But trust that they were soo tasty. My ramen order was the spicy beef, i was in between the veggie ramen and the spicy which were both highly recommended by the bartender. The menu isn't too extensive which i lovee ! It's always overwhelming to make a decision when you're out to eat and the menu is about as long as a dictionary. Overall 4/5 ! Cute and trendy:)

My new favorite Ramen spot in Columbus! Amazing flavors, fast service, delicious drinks! The atmosphere is fun and welcoming! Our server Collette was so friendly and made our dinner experience even better! 5/5 couldn't recommend this place more!

A party of 2 for dinner. When we first walked in there weren't many people in the restaurant so we were able to choose where we sat. Absolutely love the aesthetic! The music was bumping the entire time. We shared the Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs, and I ordered the Smash Burger Bao and Kimchi Fried Rice. Everything was absolutely insane. The flavors were top tier. The waitress however, seemed to be trying to rush us along which was a semi-vibe kill. Other than that I will definitely be recommending this place to family and friends. Be back soon.

This place wasn't too bad. It's more of a fusion then authentic. Ordered the pork belly and it was really good just not enough. Also ordered the shrimp and I would say thr shrimp was over cooked so I probably wouldn't order that again. Service was good until the food got served after that the server didn't come around until it was time for the check

I got the pho with chicken and added greens.

First off, I love the vibe of this restaurant. If you look around you'll see images of different pop stars and their playlist is always good. I recommend going for happy hour but their price points are always good. I love the pho and bao buns and their ribs. Very fresh ingredients and good service and food is seasoned perfectly!

When I walked in the atmosphere was great, I could smell good food and heard conversations. There's a large area with large round tables to right and to the left are booths and almost all of them were full. The menu was a mix of Americanized Chinese, traditional Chinese and included Dim Sum as well. There were a number of dishes we didn't know much about and there were dishes being enjoyed by other customers that looked delicious. The wait staff was more than happy to explain the dishes and/or show us on the menu what someone was eating. They took very good care of us and shared the tasks of bringing our food, filling water, and just checking in. Now the food. The food came out very quickly! We all received a well filled bowl of rice. First out was the string beans, perfectly cooked, not droopy, and the flavors of garlic and hot peppers. Even though the peppers were there the heat was not overpowering at all. Next was the shredded pork with garlic sauce. The textures of the pork and bamboo shoots were a nice contrast and the sauce was perfectly balanced and craveable. The special grilled lamb, I was told, was some of the best in the city. It was tender and well spiced. Even when he said he was full he just couldn't stop eating it. For the dim sum order we got the shrimp dumplings, soup dumplings, scallion pancake, and sesame balls and they brought a soy sauce and a chili oil with them. The shrimp dumplings were tender but the dough was pretty sticky. I think this is normal and they were tasty with some of the oil on them. The scallion pancakes were very thin and gummy, this is the only thing we ordered that I would not get again. The soup dumplings were very small but packed a lot of flavor. The dough did stick together a bit so unfortunately some of the soup did leak out. The sesame balls were the hit and we're just the right amount of sweetness that we considered them desert. They were large, at least 2" in size, with a wonderful sesame seed covered exterior and a soft, sweet center. Chuan Jiang Hao Zi is a wonderful somewhat hidden gem. If you want traditional Chinese cuisine including all the different offal they have it and I would totally try it here over anyone else if I was brave enough. Portions were a good size for the price. I highly recommend checking them out!
