Ordered a roasted oolong milk tea with bubbles via UberEats and would rate it a 6.7/10! Good fix for when you're really craving boba, but not mind blowing. Packaging: Good packaging with the kind of lid that has the snap on opening, ensuring no spillage. Tea Flavor: Tea flavor is on the weaker side, but to be fair I like my teas strong. I personally wouldn't be able to tell if this was supposed to be roasted oolong in a blind taste test. Bubbles: The bubbles aren't bad, but definitely not the best I've had--not bad in that they aren't too hard or too soft (if anything slightly on the softer side), but not the best in terms of the bounciness of the pearls. The bubbles aren't sweetened, which could be good or bad depending on the individual. Sweetness: Slightly less sweet than I would've liked but seems like it'd be a good amount of sweetness for most boba drinkers. read more

This is kind of a gem. Some bubble tea places don't taste enough like tea. But they nailed it! I stopped by, parking behind the varsity. I was the only customer in there but I'm sure they're busier during the school year. I asked them which were their favorites since the menu was pretty extensive. They told me to get the passion fruit jasmine tea. It came with lychee jelly but I added boba. I regret it now because it didn't need boba, but I wanted to try it. At 50% sweetness, it was too sweet for me. LOL and the boba was too soft for my preference. I'd still come back. I liked the tea overall and was really impressed. Definitely one of my favorites in town! read more

Terrible customer service! At first the customer before us was having a hard time because the worker could not process a gift card, only to realize that the worker was sliding the card wrong in the machine. It took over 10 mins for her to figure it out. Then it was our turn the worker let us know that they were out of Jasmine tea so we ordered 2 oolong milk tea and a grass jelly milk tea. The worker seems to not know the drinks on the menu, after we paid we noticed our text receipt order had a cuppa tea add jelly. There were two orders to go before us waiting, apparently their drinks were wrong or messed up. At this point it seemed only one girl doing the drinks and correcting the messes of the other worker. While we were being patient waiting 30 mins later the worker tells us oh we're out of oolong and she forgot!??? Seriously waited this late to tell us after we paid too. We were obviously over this place and asked for a refund. She thought about it then talked to the other girl, then says I can refund the two. My husband was like no we want the whole order since by the way you put the wrong drink for the third one too. She was hesitant too, and then messed up something on the register and then picked up the phone. After more minutes waiting finally ask for our card to proceed. The place looked dirty, using the same cup to mix, the stir stick unclean, left out liquid milk in containers and oat milk out everywhere. It looked like a disaster going on in their work space. Would never recommend this place to anybody but obviously it's convenient for the college students. "You just don't know what you're going to get there or if you'll get anything at all" and who knows what kind of hygiene steps are going on in that place. I would recommend the store owner to look into properly trainer their employees. read more

Came here every time I visited the city, it's a nice spot to get some delicious refreshments! Zoey did a great job on making our order since we have 6 different drinks highly customized ~ I highly recommend the ChaLatte series as they are very unique and you can't get them elsewhere~ I tried their mango with coconut milk today and it was suuuper tasty and refreshing! There's a lot of options for bubble tea around Columbus but this one is pretty good! This location is located on campus and can be hard to find parking but it's worth it. It's a small store, there's not seating really, only a bench for waiting. Staff is usually really nice and patient when I spend time looking at the menu. There's a not a lot of choices but what they have, they make well. I really like their Taro, Whipped Thai Milk, and their Green Grape, these are refreshing and sweet. I like their toppings, I think they're made well, their tapioca is chewy and not soggy. You can customize your sugar, ice, topping, and sometimes the milk option. Overall, great place for a refreshment and a drink to take with you wherever you go on campus. The prices are a bit higher than some places, but their drinks are made pretty well, about $7.50-$9 per drink. I would recommend if you like boba, need a pick me up, need a drink, or a refreshing drink on a hot day. read more

Another bbt shop located on w lane ave near campus which means parking is difficult. However cuppa cha is a small shop, making it more of a grab and go place. There's no tables and chairs inside to sit, chill and enjoy the drinks. There's only a long bench which seems like the waiting area. Drinkwise, they do have some new tea flavor like jasmine, osmanthus oolong tea and plenty of unique toppings, making it a pricey bbt place in cols. I tried the jasmine milk cap which was good as the tea flavor is strong. The milk cap is like whipped cream which is tasteless but creamy. Green grape refreshing has huge half grape chunks and slices of lime. It's nice they added real grapes but it is too big for the straw. I personally do not like this drink as there's no strong grape or tea flavor, it just taste refreshing. I was slightly disappointed on my second visit thou. I tried the peach oolong milk cap and white peach oolong cha but I think they forgot to add sugar as both drink were not sweet at all. The white peach oolong cha is kinda watery too, it does not have much tea flavor. I would recommend the jasmine milk cap if you like strong tea flavor, or their fruit cha series for mild tea flavor. If you are adventurous, try their cherry blossom as I'm curious how it'll taste. read more

Have come here a couple more times since my 1st review, and sadly, it sucks lol. They did improve the ordering system by adding an ordering kiosk. Especially grateful for this so I didn't have to interact with the employees who worked yesterday; I walked in, smiled and said hello, and one of the employees just looked at me with no expression while the other didn't even bother to look up. It's a very tiny place, which only added to the awkwardness. Don't come here if you want any semblance of tea flavor. The shakes are usually okay, but any of the "cha" I've had has just been sugary or syrupy. Last time I went, I even asked which drink to get with a stronger tea flavor, and the employee told me not to get any of the fruit cha because they don't taste like tea. (Agreed.) Yesterday's drinks were particularly horrible. I never waste food, but I actually had to throw out the cherry blossom latte because it literally tasted like cough syrup. I really tried, but I couldn't get through it. The concord grape drink was nothing like pictured, overpowered by the salt of the milk cap. (And I like milk caps! This was just wayyyy too much.) Just cannot recommend at all based on service, quality, and price. read more

Small shop, only had a little bench to sit at to wait for drinks. Wasn't too busy. Went here for the first time and was told that the only difference between the milk cha and the cha latte was that the cha latte was made with real milk. No mention of the fact that the cha latte wouldn't come with bubbles whereas the milk cha would. The physical menu in the shop didn't show any indication of need to pay to add bubbles to one but not the other. I ordered an oolong milk cha and a Ceylon black cha latte and found that the first had bubbles while the second didn't, even though the cha latte cost more for the same size. Not only that, but they added nuts and whipped cream to my Ceylon latte without asking me if I wanted them. What if I had a nut allergy? Even though the drinks tasted ok, and I liked that they had samples of the different tea leaves for you to smell before you ordered the tea, the poor written and verbal communication here is what made me dock a star. read more

I'd been meaning to stop into Cuppa Cha since they opened last December (2022). We parked at Tuttle Park because it was only a quick block on foot. I believe there's metered street parking on Lane but didn't want to bother. Inside, we ordered quickly through the touch screen kiosk and took a seat at a bench by the window. There were only 3 other patrons in the shop but it felt a little cramped because of the tight waiting area. When our order came out it was refreshing and satisfying. Bonus points for reusable cups! I ordered the roasted oolong milk tea with 70% sugar and it came with boba. I think I chose oat milk to substitute for dairy milk. It was very tasty and the boba was cooked perfectly to my liking, on the chewy side. The drink did have a slight tanginess, almost like a milk cap only it didn't have one. I'll probably come back to try one of their fruity drinks because they advertise all fresh fruit ingredients! For now, though, I prefer the teas at Little Moon Cafe, about 2 miles up high street. read more
