This company also operates a dry cleaning busines. I took my suede and fur coat to them 4 months ago for cleaning. they told me it was being sent to Illinois for service and would take several weeks to be finished. I have been to their store every month and was told it's not back yet, now I'm told an employee gave it back to me. Either they lost my coat or someone stole it. I also have a friend whose computer was lost. He did finally get it back but these morons cannot be trusted with anything. I am now out $395.00. read more

Holy wow. These guys are rock-your-socks-off legit. I put a lot of time and research into buying a laptop for myself, so I know what stuff costs. I had my mind made up on where I would get my laptop and what software I would buy for it. Just before making all the necessary purchases, my wife called Meathead to see what they could offer based on a recommendation from somebody we know. Without getting into too many details, I can honestly say these guys saved me no less than $600, and they fully set up the computer with all the software I wanted. On top of that, the owner (*the* meathead) is super friendly and helpful, as is everyone in their little shop. I am so glad I didn't try to get everything on my own and set it all up myself. I will definitely be using these guys for any repairs I ever need. I built my own computer and took it in to get checked. Turns out I fried my motherboard and these guys were able to put together my pc after buying a new motherboard. I was very impressed with their customer service. They would call me with updates on how my computer was doing and estimates on when it would be completed. Your friendly little computer shop on the corner: Just can't pull the covers over my head and unhook the laces on this day without giving a shout out to Meathead Computers LLC. (Named for the butcher-turned-computer repair expert, Tim Danko and his son Jaime. I mean: a dream.) I'd nuked my computer when a vase of flowers (and water) blew over AND IT HAD A FIRE, COMPLETE WITH SMOKE. Tim took the thing apart and held up my (really damaged) hard drive. He threw away my old computer cord (you could get a shock from this thing, he said.) I went off to buy a sleek new MacBook Pro, of the fastest and fanciest kind. Great service at Best Buy. I returned to Meathead: it's kind of like a therapist's office. Totally calm. Unhurried. I kept imagining my reception back at the Apple Stores in Bethesda or Georgetown--no comparison. This was so-- humane. And they are SO good and reasonably priced.I had a terrible virus (Search Mine; you do not want this thing) that defeated the "Apple geniuses" back in the Before Time pre-pandemic. Jaime worked overtime, way way past closing, to delete the Search Mine Virus which had hidden in an Adobe Flash download. It took hours, a complete cleanse, a new operating system. And presto; she's a new girl. So, if you are lucky enough to be within driving range, come here to MEATHEAD Computers. Otherwise FED EX them your laptop if you want -- you will not be sorry. I lived in Delafield the first time we had a computer crash. The second computer crash (different computer) I drove there from Greendale because of the great service. The guys at Meathead computers not only fixed them, they also saved ALL my (not backed up) data and photos AND made the computers work better than when they were new! When my laptop stopped working, I started checking reviews on my kindle to find a place to have it repaired. I came across the Meathead reviews and thought they didn't believe them; they were too good to be true. Still, I had to have it fixed, so I gave them a try. I was stunned. They're everything the reviews said they were - and more. The staff was very friendly and took the time to explain what was wrong (an evil virus), what they could do (replace the hard drive) and they said they'd try to recover my data. They EXCEEDED expectations. I got many of my crucial documents back and they upgraded my software as well. All at a price that was an amazing bargain. (Best Buy was going to sell me a cheap new computer for 3X the cost of this repair as the repair at Best Buy would have cost more than a new laptop). I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

I have been using Meatheads for 10+ years for my Business and personally. Tim is know longer running/owner of Meatheads. We tried for 2 weeks leaving messages on answering machine without a returned call. Every time we would call we would get be busy signal. I decided to stop by to see why I was not getting return phone calls. Do they want our service anymore? Got to the front door and it is filled with liebling leather stuff. I asked if this was still meatheads and liebling said hang on a second and went to get a young man in the back. Now before the leather store moved in they had no room to work on computers, now they have less room. The guy in the back said it is first come first service. we do not look at emails during the day maybe weeks. I told the young man that now i understand what is going on here. I would give them less then a year and they will be out of business. So Tim you should have sold the business to someone who wanted a great business not your son Jamie. I have more my stuff to Milwaukee PC. Good luck running a leather store out of a computer store. Looks like hell. read more
