We were the only customers in the store. We found an employee standing by the checkout tearing pieces of paper in half. I asked him where to find tab dividers. He directed me to two different aisles that I just had finished searching. I asked him if he could check if they have them in the store. This was a big problem. He tells me the item has been discontinued. I ask him why it is on the stores website. He tells me that he probably entered the wrong item. He never helped me find the item. With employees like John, I don't understand how this store is still in business! I will shop at Amazon from now on for all office supplies. read more

Talked to El in printing services. I questioned why they printed my order for address labels on regular paper instead of address label paper. She explained that I did not do the order right not selecting specialty services. Instead of using their common sense that it should be on address label paper like any other OfficeMax does, she said "we don't assume". She shut me down basically. She was extremely rude not letting me explain that I don't ever have to note that when I've ordered address labels from Sheboygan OfficeMax. They understood the assignment. read more

Avoid if possible. Printing department is completely unprofessional and rude. Second time I went to have some simple forms ordered and after waiting for the associate to get off the phone, he completely drops what he's doing with me to help someone that just walked in to pick up their order. The order was screwed up so I was made to wait almost half an hour while he and a manager tried to remedy the other customers issue before he asked for another associate to come help. Keep in mind I was there first and in the middle of ordering. Then that associate proceeds to start completely over with my order. I said no thanks I'll go elsewhere. Went to Office Depot on Meadowbrook in Pewaukee and was in and out within 10 minutes. I did call the store to let them know what happened and was told the manager had quit and the employees have not been properly trained. Sigh. read more

It was 12:10 - three days before Christmas and I stood in line for 7 minutes with not one open register or an associate near a register. As I walked into the store, there were two new associates coming on duty so it wasn't a short staff problem. I left $50 in stuff, drove home and bought on Amazon for $42. Shame on me. I was the only customer in the store that I could tell. I needed to quickly purchase a specific item. There were at least 3 employees wearing red shirts with huge "OFFICE MAX" print. They all just looked at me so I asked one of them where the best place to look for it in the store would be. She basically sent me on a wild goose chase didn't even try to help at all. After giving it a good try I finally left. They all just looked at me again, not one of them said a word as I left without a purchase. HOW IS THIS STORE STILL OPEN? I have a laptop with hardware issues (screen - probably loose connection). Brought it in and the computer tech just did software checks and repairs which I did not ask for. He did not address the hardware issue at all. He said it would take too long to repair the screen; would take hours which would cost more than the value of the laptop. He had me leave it overnight, and found the issue was not fixed when I got it home. I input a complaint on Office Max's site and got a call from the store manager within a few hours. Printing Dept is awful! I came in 20 min before store closing to print 3 copies and Kayley was awful. Tonight 10/5/21 Kayley was SO very rude and dismissive. Bought a $450 computer and $69 Windows 365 access card. Realizing I didn't need the card as I could use old Microsoft Office discs I had, attempted to return the disc. Was told "no software returns." Which I totally understand, but ummm...had not scratched off the back to retrieve the access code. The card was brand new and not used. Congrats Office Max. Not only will I never buy a high priced item like a computer from you again, my daughter and I just went to target and Amazon to buy school supplies. You've lost a customer for good. Since I was in the area, I stopped in at this location looking for a few items that they would stock. The store was very clean and the staff was helpful. Good size store and enough inventory of various office supplies, electronics, and furniture to keep you interested in shopping the entire store. I was happy to find some items on clearance and a few other tech items that were marked down. Plan on visiting again. read more

Called and got a quote from Dan to have a merge letter done, mailing labels printed, the envelopes stuffed, and the mailing labels put onto the envelopes. He quoted just shy of $840. Went to the store to drop everything off and pay. It ended up being over $930 when Rachel did it. Two days later Dan calls back asking if the shipping labels are supposed to be put on the envelopes - I tell him common sense answers that because if the envelopes are all stuffed then how would I know what label to put on them? He says that will cost extra. I tell him no, I already paid $100 more than he initially quoted and at this point it's his problem and he needs to just get the job done instead of wasting time. read more

I would give this store a rating of zero I could, thanks to their customer service. We brought in a business card to have them make us thousands of cards. About a week later we received BLURRY business cards and they would not reprint the business cards. We would never recommend using their print services. FedEX and UPS stores here in Delafield offer print services as well as many other local stores. read more
