Nice pool open to the public for $5-6. Snacks- rip off. Poor quality hot dog is $5 and the fries were even worse (per my friend, I didn't consume) Parking- not too bad. Shares a lot with the golf course. -Pool- it's big. Heated. Has a lap lane. They get the kids out once in a while for adults only swimming. 3 star rating is because someone defecated in the pool. At least the lifeguards caught it quickly and shut it all down. They said it would be closed for at least one hour as they shocked the water. I did not want to go back in an hour, sorry. To be fair, this probably happens at many public pools. read more

My kids have taken swim lessons here a times and the teachers & staff have been great. My kids enjoy the classes, the other kids in them, their teachers and they actually learn how to swim. And My youngest's fear of the deep end was overcome after one week. She even felt confident to jump off the standard diving board by the end of her 2 week session. The facility is clean and lots of grassy shaded area under trees. There are also umbrella picnic tables and 2 tables under a patio. Great neighborhood pool and outdoor summer swim lessons. read more

We were visiting from out of town and were looking for a pool to cool off in. The staff was friendly, there was a lot of shade, and the lifeguards were very attentive. There was an adult only swim for about 15 minutes one hour which was really enjoyable as well. read more

Not a bad place to spend an afternoon. There are plenty of shade trees under which you can set up a blanket or chairs, including the ample number of provided patio chairs. We didn't try their food, so I can't speak to that, but it smelled good, and just having the option is fantastic. The springboard was very fun and the line was never too long. They no longer have a slide, and the rest of the pool was fairly crowded, so the main attraction is really the board. Be sure to bring some bug spray, as there were mosquitos around. I also ended up with a beetle in my hair on 2 separate occasions. We'll be back, just to mix up our routine, but I wasn't blown away. read more

I would have given 4stars for the pool itself, but upon driving up, there were NO parking spots because this lot is SHARED with the golf course, and the big lot was PACKED with golfers ( only 6 people in the pool!!! That many people are not working to golf ?!?! ) The MAIN REASON for my lower score though, is the terrible lifeguard who cannot be more than 16 years old ( before I describe her, chill out, we are a black family too )...She is a light skinned black girl, who is a rude " hall room " monitor of a lifeguard...she yelled with her sister who drove up by her on a golf cart ( guess she works at the course ?) They started arguing and the lifeguards sister said " I'm going to tell mom!!!" , to which the young lifeguard replied " go ahead!! " all while she WAS ON DUTY and supposed to be concentrating on watching children swim....she screamed at other lifeguards telling them they were not doing something right ( repeatedly ) she yelled at our children ( No reason ) at which point I brought the manager over, who had to talk to her, which REALLY mad her MAD!!! I am a parent who ALWAYS watches our kids for safety and follows all the rules, so this rude , entitled brat who is a lifeguard should stay in her own lane and if she wants to be in a position of " authority " grow up and act right at work... read more

Came here today with some friends. Went to get lunch. Paid $22.00 for one cheese burger, water, coke and a pretzel. They sure take a lot of pride in their damn food here. Waited 1.5 HOURS to get it. The staff could have cared less. I asked for a refund and instead the lady said "oh your food is right here". She handed me cold food. Bring your own food. read more

Meadow Hills Pool - Swimming Pools Near Me - Aurora, Colorado

It's our first time here (yay for free Fridays!) and so far we love it. It's not too crowded (4pm on a sort of cloudy day). There are plenty of tables, chairs, loungers, and SHADE! It's right next to a golf course so there are lots of lovely trees in the background. It's a good-sized main pool with one of those zero-depth entries on one side, and a rope at the 3' point to keep the non-swimmers safer. There is a small slide and diving board on the deep end (11'). It looks like there's a lap lane on the far side as well, but no one is using it. The temperature of the pool is perfect (we went to Elitches yesterday and the water was FREEZING!). There is also a decent-sized kiddie pool (only 9") for the really little ones. I see three lifeguards on pool duty who seem to be very diligent (I've heard several whistles blown already for kids running or too much horseplay in the water). Yet another two lifeguards are cleaning up around the pool. The bathrooms are clean and there is a snack bar, but we haven't tried the food yet. That's a nice option if you don't feel like packing snacks. The attendant told us when we came in that you're welcome to bring in your own food and drinks as well, just no alcohol or glass containers. We will definitely be back soon! Even on a regular day, the $4 entry fee is totally worth it. read more

This pool is one of my favorites to visit every summer. It is located in Aurora near the Cherry Creek Reservoir. The staff is very friendly and the pool size is large, as well as the surrounding area to sit at. The pool is connected to a golf course/club and has concessions. I recommend their cheese fries because they are so good! But if you are ever just looking for a nice and relaxing pool to attend to, this one I would recommend. Pricing is reasonable for entry as well. read more

I can't say enough great things about this pool and the staff! Sierra and Aesop are two who are always courteous and safety minded. The pool has a dedicated lap lane which I enjoy. Free Friday swim madness. The parking lot was horrible because inconsiderate people think they can cut you off and inch up when you have a turning signal on waiting for a spot and then cuss you out with their window up (great parenting) and take your spot you were waiting for first lol, unbelievable. You can't just reverse and see there was a person backing out and then claim its yours when I was there first, not worth getting my car hit because of a crazy lady so I gave her the spot. Not worth the aggravation but simply shows that people are nuts and not respectful. With the golfers and swimmers sharing a parking lot at Meadow Hills, finding a spot to park today was interesting. After finally finding a parking spot, unloading, we waited in line at 140pm and were told they have met capacity and you have to be put on a waiting list or be directed to Pheasant Run swimming pool which is literally 5 minutes away, very tiny parking lot there but at least we got in. Next time I will know that if you come to this pool on Free Fridays, be prepared to squabble over a parking spot and rush to get in before meeting capacity and not allowed in. Come early like 1230pm and wait in line when they open to get in at 1pm. Lesson learned. read more

I think this is the best pool in Meadow Hills it's only pool it's really nice pool they have a diving board they will slide have a little kitty pool they have Junior lifeguard lessons at swimming lessons it's really nice pool there and I think everyone should go to it read more

Our family loves this pool!! We spend many hot summer days cooling off here. It is well maintained and they have plenty of life guards. They also have a concession stand if you get hungry. read more
