Every hour for about 10 minutes they call Adult swim, which is good and bad depending. When you have a 5 month old baby in the baby pool, and suddenly 20 kids get in, that have no boundaries and regard for you and the baby, then it's not the best. But the large pool is sectioned off so pick up your little baby and go get in the big pool, just not in the section where people might be swimming laps. Working out the parent life like a champion!

I've been to Meadow Hills Pool twice now, once on a Tuesday & another on a Sunday, both in the late afternoon. On Tuesday I counted nine people there & on Sunday even though every chair & table was occupied there was plenty of room in the pool. This pool is made for kids, it was warm, relatively shallow & they allowed small floating toys when I was there. The main pool has a gradual walk in (like the ocean) & cement seating along the sides of the pool. There were lots of lounge chairs, grass & shade trees. Friendly lifeguards & staff too. Once an hour they have an adult swim as well. Great place to cool off on a hot summer day!

But you can't beat the price, if you're in Aurora resident it's crazy ridiculous and they have monthly memberships plus 10 pass deals which land you under $4 a visit. I mainly go for the weight area and equipment but they have an array of group fitness classes so maybe one day that will happen. This place is very kid heavy so if you're looking for peace and quiet, go elsewhere. Picky nit? The facility faces west and has amazing views of the front range yet they have automated blinds that go down each afternoon taking away those gorgeous views. This one is close to home so I checked it out on a Sunday afternoon and for $4, it wasn't a horrible waste of money. They have a regular pool with a slide and kiddie pool and a lot of lifeguards, like five or so for such a small space! I really hoped that they would have chairs to lay in but no dice, only a few picnic tables and some seats that area little low to the ground and go back a little. I stayed for about two hours and went on my way and by the time I slept there were about 12-13 people there. It's basically a no frills, which is what I was expecting, but think I will check out other pools in the hood the next time.

We recently went to Bay Aquatic Park specifically for their night glow swimming that's offered a few times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 6pm-9:30pm. Our group and others around us asked the lifeguards when the lights would turn on since it was after 8:30 and the lights were still not on and the park closed at 9:30. We were told they weren't sure, but likely soon. Around 9pm we heard over the intercom that they were closing the pool due to low visibility so that was the end of our night. It was disappointing since we drove up from Northern Colorado to experience their night glow swimming that we've seen on social media and we didn't get to experience it. Other than that, it was a good experience and we would swim here again.

Their lack of desire or ability to be reasonable and accommodating in their policies would not be successful in a competitive market. If they were to get another job, I would recommend to them the IRS or the DMV, where they could arrive on their first day of work, fully trained in the principles of not providing logical and reasonably accommodating treatment of their customers.
