What helps this pizza taste great is the style of their brick oven. It's the only way to have a really good pizza cooked. I hear they just opened up another location off of Fowler and Ashlan and the atmosphere, music and customers are really good. I had ordered or made my own style of pizza, and let me tell you right out of the gate that crust omg was so crispy, cooked perfectly and tasted just perfect. Their pizza sauce is home made and let me say hands down one of the best sauces I've had in a long time. I will be back to try more off the menu but I'm sure it will hit a home run for our community. I liked the pancetta/porcino in the carbonara; it was crunchy, but I wish they added the drippings into the sauce for extra depth. Probably needed more parm reg in the sauce also. The pizza toppings were good. Something about the crust just didn't hit. I can't quite put my finger on it. Not sure if I'll come back. If I so, I'd try a NY slice. The angel hair pasta was simple but absolutely perfect. We also had cheesecake for dessert, and it was fantastic. I also appreciated that they had a kid's menu, plus mini pizza options for kids. My five-year-old only made it through a couple slices because the portions were generous. Definitely come hungry, and don't be surprised if you leave with a doggy bag because the portions are big. They also have a citrus ice tea that I always have to get a to-go cup for because not only is it absolutely delicious and not too sweet, but they have the good ice too! Employees are great, extremely friendly and always have a smile on their faces. I love that you can enjoy some fresh air on the patio or eat inside either at a table or at the bar.
