I found a dress that I was into, however it was discontinued and I was only told that when I said that was the only dress I liked. The person helping me didn't really make me feel special nor have a conversation with me. It seemed like I was inconveniencing her. We just didn't hit it off. I…read morewas unable to wear my original wedding gown due to a last minute disaster and found myself scrambling to buy a gown off the rack the week before my big day. I was able to find something in my size but the gown still needed to be taken in and up to fit me properly. I called Ilana at 5pm on the Tuesday before my wedding on Saturday looking for a miracle. Despite her being in the middle of busy wedding season, she graciously offered to help me and told me to come on in. Ilana was so kind and warm in person and her attention to detail was noticeable. She fitted my gown to me perfectly, had me try the dress with and without a bustle and even had me come in for a second fitting before finalizing the cuts - who gets a second fitting when they come the week of their wedding?! Last, I chose to wear my gown with a wrist strap. The wrist strap on the original dress was made of plain ribbon and Ilana asked me if she wanted her to cover it with fabric, given the time I said not to worry about it. When I put my dress on on my big day, the wrist strap was made of the lovely fabric of the rest of my gown - I was overwhelmed by Ilana's generosity and attention to detail to ensure my gown was perfect even though we were working on a very short timeline. I had got a fitting for a bridesmaid dress and was measured for the size I would need. The stylist had said the dress would arrive by end of April due to the short timeframe for the wedding. Well that didn't happen as the dress got delayed and was told it would arrive 3 weeks before the wedding. I was like that cannot happen, that does not give me enough time for alterations. The David's Bridal rep was extremely rude and said its not my problem and take it up with corporate. I mean who is says that?? I call the corporate office and was told the dress needed to be cut to size and would take longer. All the bridesmaids received their dresses but mine is nowhere to be found! After multiple calls to the store and the corporate office, it was decided that the best they could do was give me a dress 2 sizes too big and would have it sent out right away. I asked is there any compensation they could offer for this situation, only could offer 20% discount. I said is alterations going to be possible with this tight timeframe and was then told no they cannot guarantee it would be done in time. Well on the wedding day...the zipper splits apart where I need to be sewn in because the zipper is cheap and garbage like material. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM DAVID'S BRIDAL AGAIN!!! Such a major disappointment and so much money to spend and all this happens!

I chose my bridesmaid dresses in November 2019 (9 months beforehand), and all 5 girls ordered their dress during that month. Bridesmaid 1: Received in February Bridesmaids 2 & 3: On track for delivery in early May Bridesmaid 4: Not coming until September 2020 Bridesmaid 5: DB cancels her order without warning. Has to order new dress. Bridesmaid 5 re orders a dress. Not coming until end of August. Talk to DB but only through text, because no one is willing to speak on the phone. I'm told by multiple reps that her dress will now come at the end of April and she'll receive an email. End of April comes and there's no email. Have to talk to them again. Now we're supposed to get the dress early May. Never got it, along with Bridesmaids 2 & 3 whose are now delayed until July. Talked to maybe 20 people from DB and got 20 different answers on all 3 of these dresses. Absolutely no consistency among their reps. They couldn't have made this process worse if they tried. After an INCREDIBLY frustrating process with David's Bridal, we canceled the orders because I stopped trusting them. BUT DO YOU THINK DAVID'S BRIDAL CANCELS THEM WHEN THEY SAID THEY DID? Nope, I have to follow up to talk to ANOTHER rep who says the orders were never canceled. Now we are scrambling to find new dresses thanks to this god forsaken company. Seriously, do not use David's Bridal for any reason. They lie, they're inconsistent, they are not trustworthy, and they have single handedly made my wedding planning the most stressful process I've ever gone through. DO. NOT. USE. DAVIDS. BRIDAL.
