Going to the gym is super expensive, the gym is littered with other people you have to walk around, some of whom are watching political news and pretending to work our. More than that, the gym smells like sweaty people. Blech! The boulevard mall is amazing! I can run, skip, or jump through the whole place, and no one is gonna bother me. It's quiet and peaceful, UB polluted with too many stores or a loud food court that people would want to go to. Auntie Annie's smells like a cinnamon/olive oil infuser, which could be worse...! If you're looking for an indoor place to get your steps in without being disrupted by people or stores or silliness like that, this mall gets 10 stars!

This is the kind of mall you'd see in a movie. I remember going to this mall in high school and…read morecollege and it was one of the coolest places to be. Fast forward to today and it is still a cool place AND most importantly, it still is open with a bunch of new stores. I think what makes this mall special is the collection of things it has in and around it. The restaurants here are all really good if you need any ideas for dinner. The stores are all good size and there's a movie theater. That's my main reason I have been there a lot recently. It is a huge mall and they're open early for folks just to walk around before stores opening. There really is something for everyone at this mall and I am glad it's still open and continuing to keep improving with new stores opening up.

Next to the newly enlarged Fashion Outlet Mall in Niagara Falls is this mall. It's more of a Plaza…read moreto me, all stores have outside entrances with parking in the middle. There's lots here - Walmart, SAMs, Bed Bath Beyond, and my fav, Qdoba. They have lots more too. It also keeps getting new stores. This place is great for things that are not in the outlet mall, but are still low cost things, no high end stores in this plaza. Tons of parking all around.

This is the plaza in Tonawanda that has Savers and Greek To Me, but most recently and most awesomely it has Tai Chi. The first Buffalo location of the Rochester-Buffalo bubble tea place. The food is absolutely delicious and the drinks are good too. The plaza can get a little unkempt and busy when Savers is open, but generally speaking it's a nice little spot with good access from Sheridan and Eggert.

I did see lots of empty storefronts as well, which seems to be a sign of the time for malls these days. If you're in the area and need a mall to shop at, this would be the place and they would probably have what you're seeking.

I never really liked this Plaza very much for the longest time, because it just seemed a little corporate, and like it was trying to rip off the college students. Yotality here is pretty good but Break N Eggs? Are you kidding me? Anyway, after a hot pot place was here for awhile, and closed down, one of my favorite restaurants in the history of Western New York has moved in! China Taste is not only completely authentic Chinese food - but it's actually some of the best Chinese food I've had. Probably the best authentic place we've had in the Western New York Region, along with nearby Tasty Express. Absolutely amazing. I'm a huge fan. Get Chongqing Chicken, Lamb Cumin, and many more dishes. The design of the plaza is a little sketchy (like a bad artist) and parking is tough, but I still love coming here for that food.

There's a Dollar Tree on the side near Trader Joes (across the street). There is a Corner Bakery Café right on the NFB side as well. Just down from Orangetheory is a weight watchers location, seems to get very busy on occasion. A newer place is Amherst Buffet, not sure what it replaced. Moes is on the other side of the Corner Bakery Café. Outback steakhouse is always busy here. Lots of easy parking here makes this Plaza easy.

Kind of hard to believe considering the monoliths of today, but I try to imagine how awe inspiring it must have been (especially considering how it is still pretty spectacular). You can visit the building to do business at one of the many office located in the space, to grab a bite at one of the eateries or just to admire the architecture. It is often host to private events like wedding receptions, political rallies or gala fundraisers because of how gorgeous the lobby area is. If you are downtown, stop in and admire the beauty!

More so in the age of Corona. Well today was a very pleasant experience at the Eastern Hills Mall. I started by taking my unneeded electronics there at 11 AM. This mall was hosting the free electronics waste recycling drop off event in their parking lot. It was so well organized. A company by the name of sunnking was there to take old electronics off your hands. A great service to the community. After that event, I browsed through the Raymour and Flanigan furniture store. This is where the old AM&As, and BonTon used to be, if you recall. Buffalo old timers like me will remember! Then I walked past the Duff's chicken wing restaurant ( yum yum) to browse and check out some very exciting new businesses at the end of the mall where the old Sears used to be. The BFLO store, the Home Today store, the BFLO Events Center (not open yet), and the Chrusicki Bakery /Pierogi store are just refreshing and exciting additions to the Eastern Hills Mall. I think this mall really has potential. I hope once the fear of corona has passed, the mall will pick up more business and folks will truly appreciate what it means to shop in person again. It was really nice to be able to walk into a store, browse through merchandise, speak with the salesperson. That's the way humans interact. The social aspect is what made the experience exceptional today at this mall. The only department store left unfortunately is JCPenney. Otherwise there are many interesting stores when would not expect to see in the mall setting. Pet stores, dog training businesses, a realtor office, even a DMV (currently closed due to Covid), Antique collectible stores, a medical fitness center, blood donor organization, to name a few. Came home with a few treats from the Chrusicki Bakery. Due to being in the Orange Zone for COVID, patrons are not allowed to dine at the tables inside the bakery. Decorated so beautifully for the holidays it was so inviting. The entrance with the fireplace and Christmas theme is worth checking out.
