What a very posh and pretentious name for a very run-down old plaza that has a few typical stores which can be busy, or can be quiet. The paving isn't great but then neither is your mother's driveway when driving out of it at 4am. Definitely nothing on the level of the businesses and plazas up in Amherst and out in Clarence along Transit Road or Niagara Falls Boulevard. Pretty sleepy and has a Save-A-Lot and other stores along those lines.

It's a massive Plaza in the rich suburbs of Buffalo right alongside the nightmarish stretch of Transit Road which is always backed up for many hours a day. If you come here later at night it's perfectly fine. But between the McDonald's and the Tim Hortons across the street from each other - and the lights that are poorly programmed - traffic emerging from Sheridan Drive and Maple Road - it just becomes awful. And of course we're looking at Walmart - one of the biggest and best ones in the area - if a Walmart can be the "best" - so just forget about it. Not to mention I've been pulled over while driving in this parking lot which is ironic because I think 95% of people drive much more Dangerously in parking lots than I do and I never see them getting pulled over. But I "discovered" it some years ago when pointed to the Premier Store out here for a specific purchase. The Premier Store is in a shopping area called Quaker Crossing. Its a large area and has a number of different "parts" to it. The stores listed below can all be found in one of those parts. Once you turn into Amelia Drive you can go left, right or straight. Right takes you to a part of the Crossings that has Marshalls and AAA, among other things. And easy parking all around. Turn left and you will come across Home Goods and the theaters (a little farther along). Go straight and Premier soon appears, next to Target. There are all sorts of smaller stores and places to eat as well. You will likely find it here if its a chain. Everything in this area is a chain, keep that in mind. If you want more personalized service and smaller places, go into town and browse through one of the "non-chains" there. But if you need to run a bunch of errands and are in the area, this may be a place to get a lot done in a small amount of time. It gets busy here but there is plenty of easy parking. That said, there are a few categories where you can expect to find good offerings at Shopper's Choice. These include: * Kitchen Items--There's always at least a full aisle, mostly stocked with brand-name tools, * Tools--Small hand tools, painting supplies, etc. Definitely better prices than Home Depot--especially for things that you might use only once. * Blinds--They always seem to have a large selection of window blinds. Worth checking here before going to Target. * Greeting cards--An extensive rack, usually 2 for $1 . . . which is about right since they just end up in the recycling bin 30 seconds after they're read. * Toys--Shoppers Choice must have done a huge buyout, because they have a seemingly endless supply of Melissa & Doug toys at about half the price they sell for at boutique toy stores or even department stores. * Picture Frames--A nice, varied selection of mostly high-quality frames. This is the plaza in Tonawanda that has Savers and Greek To Me, but most recently and most awesomely it has Tai Chi. The first Buffalo location of the Rochester-Buffalo bubble tea place. The food is absolutely delicious and the drinks are good too. The plaza can get a little unkempt and busy when Savers is open, but generally speaking it's a nice little spot with good access from Sheridan and Eggert.
