Very small and disorganized. Not a lot hanging on the racks, and there were no prices on them. One of the cooler pieces here were some funky disco boots way up on a high shelf in the corner collecting dust, no visible price tag or size which would likely help them sell. There were a lot of clothes/miscellaneous things in reusable shopping bags stuffed underneath the racks...unclear if shoppers are expected to dig through them. Lots of dust on the floor, got all over my skirt when I bent down to look. There is a bus parked outside that has more items for sale, but again totally disorganized and tons of junk shoved under the racks. This store has potential but the owner needs to put more effort into curating, pricing, organizing, and cleaning. read more

This shop is a dream come true! I was here last Sunday with a group of vintage fanatics and found so many treasures. Because she knew we were coming, the owner, Wendy, placed shoes on the sidewalk that led us right to her place. The store itself is small, but that belies the amazement within. There are vintage hats, clothing, jewelry, and all sorts of accessories in this shop. I kept going up to the counter and buying more. My one friend found a beautiful lucite purse and bought it for a song. This store has everything a vintage fashion enthusiast could want! Wendy is a total doll and was so excited to have us. It is only a matter of stepping in to the shop on any day of the week to find that one good find that will make your wardrobe for the week or the rest of your life. This is a tiny shop with no advertising to support its life in the big Elmwood neighborhood. Its owner, Wendi Reed, validates the store's existence by picking and choosing retro, vintage, and the fanciful for both men and women. Do you need to know where you should wear your new digs? Wendi can tell you at any moment where the next big party is taking place in Buffalo and of course, where you can be seen in your carefully chosen 70s jeans. Most importantly, she also has great taste in clothes. Her prices are very reasonable - definitely more affordable than some of the other clothing re-salers in town. Her clothes span the gamut from professional wear to vintage to casual to snazzy party dress to couture to retro to costume party. This place still has class! Shopped here over 30 years ago w my parents when I went to Nardin and my mom loved it. We moved away and I thought I'd bring my dad in and we loved it. Mind you, the plan was just to look around and outside, there were garments for $5(mostly for the older crowd and although I'm 40 something, I definitely don't dress it(. Also for $5, was some jewelry which I can never have too much of so I got a bracelet for him and some cute earrings for myself). Inside, my dad found a bag and I saw a few age appropriate items but the reviews were right- definitely not for the young minded unless you want accessories. The lady who worked there said she's been at the store for two years Bc the lady who was there when I went(in the 90's) retired. Great classy finds here. Worth a visit! read more

This amazing store (and bus) are a treasure trove of vintage clothing, accessories and household memorabilia. Don't go if you are in a rush or have only a few minutes to pop in. This is an experience that needs to be savored like a fine wine. You also need to be able to slowly explore each tack and nook - hidden gems are everywhere! The owner is a delight and very helpful! I got here just as Wendy was opening on a Monday, laying out a trail of shoes from Elmwood Ave right to the front door on Auburn. Adorable marketing! She has a wonderful selection of clothing, some beautiful shoes and handbags, and more jewelry than I could have even scoured with two hours. Wendy is a friendly shop owner, telling me the origins of the shop that dates back to the 30's as a house swap between an old lady and her friends. I purchased a skirt and a lovely tapestry handbag, though I could have spent at least an hour (and much more $) had I not been on restraints in both categories. Definitely check this place out. Always reasonably priced and it's an easy and relaxing shopping experience, so I don't feel pressured if I want to just stop and browse through to check for new inventory. What I liked about this place: 1) Super nice owner who seemed very genuine. Had a great chat. 2) Very reasonably priced sale rack outside and a great sale on winter coats when I went in - sales rotate. 3) Good prices on shoes (though selection was small). 4) Amazing vintage coat selection. Fur, faux fur, leather, wool, tweed...the possibilities are endless, the rack is huge. 5) Good size range. I'm a 14ish (I'd guess?) and I found an AMAZING vintage 70's wool fitted at the waist with an A-line bottom mid-thigh length fire engine red winter coat, complete with faux fur wide collar and interior that was leopard print, in mint condition for $60. Heaven, I'm in heaven. If I had a fiver for every compliment I've gotten, I'd be giving Bill Gates a run for his money. Okay, well Mayor Brown at least. What wasn't a bonus for me: 1) The styles are largely more professional than I wear, but hey, I'm trashy. *shrug* 2) The space is fairly small, so selection is limited. 3) WE NEED MORE SHOES! (I have a problem...) 4) A lot of the jewelry and tops had more of a matronly vibe - you know, the very classy, sophisticated older women I will so definitely not grow up to be. Great small second hand shop where you never know what you might find. One of the things I love about it is the size, as it allows me to run in for a few minutes and get something to perk up my wardrobe at a fraction of its original cost. Been here on numerous occasions to look. I've always found something that I could have taken home with me, mostly professional clothes and shoes. The quality of the clothes were always good for a very fair price. This last visit I found a slew of beauties from the 50s and 60s. This shop does have the gem of a vintage find, but I wouldn't count on this joint for your vintage needs. I tried on a bunch of things and since they were so reasonably priced, I took three of them home with me! I have and will continue to come here often! read more

A small but well-stocked boutique offering upscale used clothing--mostly business attire and better sportswear, but there are often some vintage items, as well. The clothing is always in excellent condition and the prices are generally reasonable, considering the quality of the items. If you visit on a day when the weather's nice, you'll probably find a rack of markdown items in front of the store, and these are always great values! read more
