It's very difficult to find a chic headband. The upstairs holds fun little knicknacks and sale items. For example, they have an Oscar Wilde action figure and an ashtray keychain. It's very eclectic. Vintage clothes, books, egg timers... It's random. I bought a Chinese brush painting set once. The store is connected to the Wooly Lamb. Their elementary school celebrates Buffalo Bills team every Friday during the football season. Why buy brand new when you can find almost for significantly less money! The men's department yielded up a dozen brand new basketball shorts with the tag still on for only $4.99. We grabbed a good handful of those. All in all another, very successful trip to the Amvets Thrift Store.

At this point I'm basically on a first-name basis with the clearance rack. This place is truly a magical hybrid of boutique, consignment shop, and small-town treasure hunt. They have clothes for kids, teens, and adults -- some new, some consignment -- and the consignment pieces are so pristine you'd swear the previous owner bought them, lovingly removed the tags, whispered affirmations over them, and then never wore them once. And it doesn't stop at clothing. Oh no. There's furniture, small appliances, baby items, exercise gear, bedding, health and beauty goodies (from really good brands, too). You name it, they probably have it. And if they don't today... check back next week, because the inventory changes constantly. They further went on to state, they had nothing "tagged" for me since last December.... you literally cannot randomly drop off items, you need an appointment which I had January 26, 2026! The owner had her manager call me, who I had spoke to about these coats twice. Since they take your items and you get no ticket, ...they win! Bad business practice. Whoever took these coats has some nice winter wear.

All my favorite sweatshirts are from The Lounge Shop because they we are well made and give me the fit I am looking for. The service is always great. The girls working greet everyone and are there to answer any questions you may have. The shop is cute. It's a smaller space so it can get tight in there when it's busy, but everything will well merchandised and laid out so it is easy to shop. Items are definitely priced on-par with other boutique shops which can make things a little expensive. HOWEVER, they have plenty of sales and mark down items often so there is always a well-priced treasure to be had! The area was missing a clothing shop with cool, trendy and affordable clothing and gifts. They offer womens's standard and missy sizes along with some kids clothes and accessories. There is a lot to choose from and the price range is affordable, most items are probably between $25-45. Despite what is happening with Covid this shop has taken off and adapted to the challenges we are all facing today. The shop is bright, clean and airy. Everyone inside is wearing a mask and there are contactless pickup and private shopping times available upon request. I personally love that there is a website so I can shop online and pickup in store. Since the boutique is small there are limited quantities of new merchandise. If you are really interested in trying something you can buy it right away online and then can plan a time for yourself to go in and try everything on. I have already made some awesome summer purchases that have a strong rotation in my closet.
