My mom had already gone in with a friend a week prior, and Monroe helped her into DOZENS of dresses that were suited to my mom - and getting her into any dress is hard...the owner is just so good with people! My mom is not a girly woman at all, and she rarely wears dresses or anything like this, but Monroe quickly figured out my mom's preferences and showed her dresses that really flattered her figure. She helped her pose and take pictures of the dresses - so many beautiful dresses. When I was with her, we got 1 on 1 attention and the dresses she picked out were gorgeous. We finally went with a stunning black dress with tasteful shoulder cutouts that I honestly would have never thought to pick out myself. I am SO happy with the dress and my mom truly LOVES it too (which is what matters most!). One of the things you may not realize is that they have a wheelchair to use in the store if you've got someone with you in need. My 87-year-old mom gets along with a walker most of the time, but this store is pretty big and it's easy to get worn out at that age, so we sometimes use their walker when we are there. if you're looking for great brands at amazing prices, you've got to check out Gabe's. Even my picky husband was impressed by their really large selection of high-vis jackets and shirts. There's a really great plus-sized section, a huge selection of outerwear, and a lot of really great clothes for kids, men, and ladies. I'm pretty sure the teens/juniors have their own section too. Some of the brands I've seen if you're looking - NFL (Go Bills!), Guess, Buffalo Outdoors, Ariat, Yellowstone. There are tons of great shoes, too, if you're looking for brand names at cheaper prices.
