Potholes are awful. Every time you go in you think you can avoid, think twice! It's been a few months...

The Boulevard

The Boulevard

I come here fairly often. I find this to be a very easy to navigate outside mall. The one drawback…read moreis there can be endless traffic here sometimes, and sometimes that can be challenging to navigate. But they have everything here from a bookstore to a supermarket to fast food to all the clothing stores you could possibly want to Lowe's.

So the Boulevard... likely getting its name from the fact that it's located ON Niagara Falls Blvd.,…read morealthough it isn't in Niagara Falls... it's in Amherst NY... about 15 minutes down the road, depending on the road. The Boulevard seems to be my go-to place. It's a shopping center. Very much like The Fountains At Farrah in my beloved El Paso. The Boulevard boasts eating establishments ranging everywhere from Chipotle and Panera Bread, to Carrabas Italian restaurant. It also houses some decent stores. Best Buy, Target, PetsMart, Yankee Candle, Home Depot, Golf Galaxy, Hallmark, Nordstrom Rack, GNC, Ulta Beauty Supply and shoe stores and clothing stores and Christmas stores and on and on.. y'all get the point. I started coming here because of PetsMart. Then because of PetsMart and Target. Then PetsMart and Target and Supercuts. Then Petsmart and Target and Supercuts and GNC... and you know, then chipotle and Panera ... then Best Buy... then the fact that it's one stop light down the road from the Delta Sonic car wash that I have unlimited membership at... which is right across the street from the Boulevard Mall which has the Bath and Bodyworks I get my wallflower plug ins at... bottom line, this entire area is kinda a one stop shop place for your needs. Oh and there's a Dicks one block away too... and that's where they need to stay, cuz they're Dicks ...

I wanted specifically to review the exceptional changing room in the food court. I was amazed at…read morehow cool it was. Easy to get the stroller in, a nice secure table and a sink. A curtain to hide without having a door to go through (awkward with a stroller) and a curved glass block wall to let in light. Great. The rest of the mall is nice, clean, easy to get around with lots of store. This place is huge. Dave and Busters is fun. escalators are pretty easy to find (again the stroller). Bathrooms were clean and can accommodate many. Good variety at the food court. Large parking lot surrounding the entire mall with many entrances. Easy access from the highway, dedicated entrance from the I-190.

This is the kind of mall you'd see in a movie. I remember going to this mall in high school and…read morecollege and it was one of the coolest places to be. Fast forward to today and it is still a cool place AND most importantly, it still is open with a bunch of new stores. I think what makes this mall special is the collection of things it has in and around it. The restaurants here are all really good if you need any ideas for dinner. The stores are all good size and there's a movie theater. That's my main reason I have been there a lot recently. It is a huge mall and they're open early for folks just to walk around before stores opening. There really is something for everyone at this mall and I am glad it's still open and continuing to keep improving with new stores opening up.

This was the perfect spot to spend our rainy day while staying in Niagara Falls…read more There were so many stores to choose from for the whole family! There were outlet stores, as well as regular priced stores. We scored a lot of goodies. Be sure to swing through the Fashion Outlets if you have a chance! Perfect for a hot day, also. Air conditioning was on point!

On my way out of Niagara Falls I wanted to make at least one stop before heading east for my next…read morestop. I looked up earlier what this place had to offer and made a plan to stop by. Funny thing here. The website states the hours, but be sure to check the hours of the store you might want to go to. Funny thing, the mall is open, you can enter and walk about, but not many stores are open. When I visited, I did do a once around the mall to see what there would be to offer. However, many of them were not open and I did not want to stick around to nearly noon for them to open. This mall, looking a little new and fancy, is not immune to the effects of malls dying. There were more than a few empty storefronts. You can tell that some of them were recent and some of them have been vacant for a time. Walking around the mall you will stumble upon a few places that open before the mall states it is open. I was told this was because the stores were allowed to evaluate hours and open when they wanted to. Kind of defeats the purpose of assigning hours for the whole mall if you allow stores inside to make their own hours.
