I felt like I wasn't given the opportunity to look around or pick out any dresses that I personally liked, and the woman assisting me made a few passive-aggressive comments toward my guests that were completely unnecessary and unprofessional. Our experience at Bliss was anything but blissful. Let me preface that we only ordered bridesmaids dresses and that the aesthetic of the store is cute and it does appear they have a wide selection of bridal gowns. However, four out five bridesmaids dresses were either the incorrect size (like myself), the incorrect style of dress, and or the incorrect color. When we went to our original try on appointment, our measurements were taken by the owner Jessica. We were informed her staff would enter all the information into their computer system, and create a profile for each of the girls. The profile would include their measurements and the color mauve which the bride had selected for everyone. The bridesmaids were able to select any style of dress as long as it was the appropriate color. When we all realized the issues with our dresses the bride call the owner Jessica. The explanation provided up for all of the issues was that the distributor just sent what they had available rather than what was ordered. This to me is not an acceptable explanation. The distributor could have just sent what they had. However, I would expect that the store I placed my order with and paid money to would review the dress they received from the distributor. Ensuring it matched what was ordered and if it was the incorrect color, the incorrect size or incorrect style number that the store would have resolve that with the distributor before contacting the customer to pick up an incorrect dress. The owner contacted each bridesmaid and gave them the option to reorder and exchange, return for a full refund, or have a tailor come to your home to alter the dress. We all ended up with a dress in time for the wedding. But given the price point ($250-$350) and stress I think we all regret not ordering through a online company like show me your mumu, David's, Azazie, Kennedy Blue, etc. read more

Would love to give zero stars if I could. This was such an awful experience. I struggled to find a shop that still sold bridesmaids gowns but I was overjoyed when I found Bliss Bridal. I called ahead and was informed that I didn't need an appointment. That was perfect! When we arrived we were informed of where the dresses were and to help ourselves. We were given some basic information and told to ask for help if we needed it. The setup inside is really cute. The dressing rooms are spacious and the seating outside of the rooms is very nice. The process of trying on dresses and narrowing down a brand that would have a style they each liked in the color I wanted was a bit challenging but we figured it out. As we were wrapping out our selections, someone came over and informed us that they had an event happening soon. We were all a bit confused because they said they were still going to be open during this event and it's not like we were taking a sales associate away from anything because no one was helping until we needed to confirm sizes and colors. But we all silently understood that we were in essence being ushered out. Moving on, the dresses were ordered and once they came in, each bridesmaid was contacted to pick them up. I decided to pick the dresses up for the girls and deliver to each person. I never imagined that upon taking them out of the bags that every single person would have an issue. One bridesmaid got the completely wrong color, two got the wrong style, one was given a dress way too big and the last one got a different shade of mauve that I unfortunately didn't see until the day of the wedding. (She sent me a picture of it when she opened it but it looked ok. It was only when everyone was together on my actual wedding day did I see that it was off). Everyone was extremely overwhelmed because the dresses did not come within the month that was discussed prior to purchasing. That being said, if everyone had to reorder their dresses there was little to no time for alterations. So as the bride, I called the shop and spoke with several people. Within a day Jessica G. the owner got back to me and started doing damage control. Or so I thought. She came up with some solutions; 1) re-order the dresses in the correct color and or sizes that were similar to each individual's style of choice and have a seamstress (Sandy) come to each person's home for alterations in order to save time at no charge to them 2) Have the alterations done on the dresses that were the correct color or 3) get a full refund. All the blame was placed on the vendor not the people accepting the order and preparing it for the customer. Just passing the buck. *Hindsight is always 20/20. They should have taken their money and run! The experience of each bridesmaid thereafter was awful. I can't speak for them but I know they were extremely unhappy with the whole process. It's mind boggling to me that an item gets delivered to a shop and NOBODY checked it against what was on the bill of sale. They just bag it up and call the customer. Then the solution is to send a seamstress to each person in need of alterations only for her to attempt to charge them $300 instead of following up with Jessica. As a bride this was extremely stressful. This whole process was awful. Jessica acted as if she was trying to remedy the situation but it was clear that she and her staff didn't give a damn. And that Sandy lady. Forget about it. On my wedding day everyone looked fine but the one dress that was the incorrect shade really stands out in the pictures. The other bridesmaids were tugging at the sleeves and tops of the dresses because of the piss poor alterations by Sandy. I have never been so disappointed in a business. A small business at that! The business of weddings is disgustingly expensive and the fact that we were treated as if we didn't matter was so disheartening. I felt so bad and yet there was nothing I could do. At this point I urge any and all brides and bridesmaids to steer clear of Bliss Bridal. Get with the times and buy bridesmaid dresses online. You're more likely to be treated better and I would bet the odds of a better outcome would be higher since we had a zero success rate. 0/10 do not recommend. read more

Our bridal party of 5 bridesmaids chose Bliss Bridal to purchase our dresses from... Our first visit we were pretty much on our own, we rambled through the selection of bridesmaids dresses towards the end of our visit someone came over to us to advise they had an event beginning shortly... We were all confused to say the least and unsure if we were being kicked out or what was going on. While wrapping up our visit Jessica came over and took our measurements and advised profiles would be made for each of us and when we decide on a dress we would be able to call in our order over the phone! Orders are in!!! The Bride was able to pickup all of the dresses wasn't advised of any issues... Four out of the five bridesmaids either had the wrong dress, wrong size or wrong color. Which was not mentioned at the time of picking up the dresses. When we spoke with the owner and was advised of our options we all decided to return the dresses and choose a new dress. We were also advised due to the error of the shop providing the wrong dresses they would send their seamstress out to our home for alterations at no charge. Sandy (seamstress) came out to our home and advised myself and my sister that "you people" made me miss a baby shower and "you people" are lucky you don't wrinkle or have to tan! Throughout this visit Sandy never said anything about a cost or deposit and we assumed because this visit was due to the bridal shops error. Sandy came out for a second visit again did not mention any pricing but advised when "you people " decide on a good time to bring the dresses to give her a call. November 1st 8:32pm Sandy calls She advises that she will be bringing our dresses at about 10am tomorrow morning (November 2nd the Wedding is November 4th) Sandy asked would you like to know how much it will be? I advised the cost was supposed to be covered by the shop due to the error of sending the wrong dresses. Sandy proceeded to tell me how much she did for "you people " and I couldn't think it would be free... I advised Sandy I wouldn't go back and forth with her and not to come the next morning. I'll give her a call after I speak with the shop! The next morning I spoke with Amy (who I later found out was Sandy's daughter) I advised what we were told and that they couldn't think we or anyone would be willing to pay $300plus for a dress we settled for then we would also pay $300 for alterations on that same dress we didn't initially chose. After explaining this all to Amy she advised me she wasn't the owner and would give her the information and have her call me back... Sandy calls one of the other bridesmaids and ask her to pick up the dresses (never telling her an amount due for alterations) because she doesn't want to deal with me.... I gave a call back to the shop and asked for an update Amy advised the owner was at a doctors appointment and she would call me back... I advised Sandy asked another bridesmaid to pick up the dresses. Amy then advised I can make arrangements with Sandy to pick up the dresses and they would take care of Sandy... I'm not sure if just Amy and Sandy were trying to get over on me or what but the experience was horrible not to mention the work Sandy did was awful. Pictures don't do justice but Sandy told me this was over $300 in alterations, my dress started as long sleeve and ended as three quarter length sleeves. I've been a bliss bride not once but TWICE. I bought a dress here six or seven years ago for a wedding that (thankfully lol) didn't work out. That first time I visited more than a handful of shops and tried on countless dresses before coming to Bliss. At Bliss I was wowed by everything I tried on. This time around I knew the first place I wanted to shop was, of course, Bliss. And lo and behold I tried on only five dresses before finding *the one*. The best part, was I was able to take home the sample dress as it was my size and got a wonderful discount! My bridal consultant (whom I believe owns the shop) was so knowledgeable and helpful, and even remembered helping me all those years ago the first time. She also offered suggestions when it came to selling my other dress. Bliss is simply the best. It's easy to make an appointment. They do alterations in shop. The shop is SO adorable - it will make all of your *say yes to the dress* dreams come true. And there's a little boutique at the entrance to the shop and no lie my bridesmaids and I ALL walked out of there with a little something. Seriously, this shop is a dream! I was lucky enough to work with Jessica, the owner of Bliss Bridal. After not having the best experience at another local shop I went into my appointment with very low expectations. Soon as I walked in I knew there was hope for finding my wedding dress. The store is stunningly modern and tasteful and the dresses are hung up for display so you can actually browse for yourself. I showed Jessica a picture I found on pinterest and with her wide selection she had the exact dress! It's important to mention my wedding is in 4 months and I was immediately reassured the tight time frame would not be a problem. I started at one shop and did find a dress I absolutely loved and didn't think I would beat it but then when I got to Bliss and started trying on dresses I knew there were so many I was going to love. They have a huge selection. The experience is definitely not as personalized and private as the other shop I went to and my sales person was not as helpful as I would have liked but the experience overall was still good. She gave me a nice discount and got it off the rack for me so I didn't have to stress about my dress coming in time for the wedding. It was a good price too. Very happy I came here! read more

I ended up really liking one dress but honestly the woman I worked with kinda ruined it for me, was rude to my mother and sisters (called them/ me bro and dude many times) Wanted to spend around 2k for my dress and she made me and my mom feel like we were too broke to be in there. I was getting changing in the room and hanging all the dresses back up on my own, and when my sister tried to help me start hanging them the lady snatched the dress from her hands? I didnt plan on leaving a review but after going to other stores and having such amazing experiences I felt even more disappointed by this place considering the referrals were really good. I felt pressured, rushed and so uncomfortable. Also the dress I did like($2300) had a long train that I wanted bustled below my bum but she kept telling me it wasn't an option, I asked to speak with the seamstress before buying to make sure we could figure out a good fix for the bustle and she told me I can't do that... then we tried it on one final time and put a veil on, and the woman bustled the dress below my butt... I had to get out of there it was giving me so much anxiety! read more

Full disclosure: I did NOT end up finding my dream dress here so this review is for the trying-on process ONLY! So I didn't end up buying my dress from Bliss Bridal, but I loved the experience I had shopping with them. They have set hours and ask that you make an appointment in addition to those hours. Their store is set up really beautifully. It's very stylish and nice. Once they talked to me about what I was looking for they let me out on my own to just look at the options and pick the dresses I wanted to try on. They got me set up in this beautiful room in that had a nice sitting area for my bridesmaids and one of the woman who was working there helped me get in and out of the dresses. I had some questions about color variations and one of the co-owners if the shop went out of her way to e-mail the distributer and find out if the color I was interested in was available. They then reached out to me and explained what they found. I did not end up buying my dress here, but I was very pleased with my experience at Bliss Bridal and I would recommend them to other brides. read more

I had the best experience at Bliss! It was the first salon I visited. Allie was my consultant and she was able to pull dresses that were exactly my style (even though I was a little all over the place). I didn't find my dress that day, but the bar was set high when visiting other salons. During those visits, I found a couple of dresses I liked, but not the one I loved. After following Bliss on social media immediately after my first appointment, I followed along with their "try-on Tuesdays" and would occasionally check in on their feed for any new dresses that came in. I got lucky one Tuesday and saw a dress that ticked all of my boxes. I swore I knew it was "the one" even through a 30-second video. I easily scheduled another try-on appointment through their website and stopped in the following week. Allie was my consultant again and put me in said dream dress. I finally had my "this is the dress" moment. I cannot be more thankful for all the help and resources! read more

This was the first dress shop I had come to looking for my wedding dress! I follow their "Try-On Tuesday" Instagram post weekly and fell in love with one dress I saw weeks ago. I worked with Jess all afternoon and she helped me pick out my YES dress today. She made me feel comfortable in my own skin and was extremely nice and encouraging through out the whole process! She had me try on dresses that were out of my comfort zone and she ended up showing me the dress that I eyed a couple weeks back that I feel in love with when I put it on! My review for the experience buying a dress at Bliss would be 5 stars: The experience shopping was amazing. My consultant was very helpful and listened to what I was looking for to help me find the perfect dress for me. I would recommend buying a dress from this store. The one negative note is that I ordered my dress in October and was told it would take 6 months to arrive, but didn't hear anything from them about the status as we passed the 6 month mark and didn't actually get the dress in until about 9 months. This review is mostly to say that if you get your dress here, do not get it tailored in-house! My dress needed very few alterations; I just needed it hemmed and wanted to have the train taken off to make the dress one length. I live out of town so had to fly in for my first, second, and final fittings; which the tailor knew and was actually very nice about helping schedule around. Which is to say that despite the poor work she did, she does seem like a very nice woman. However, the pins had fallen out so no work was done between my first and second fitting, which was frustrating because it was a waste of a flight and time off work for me to come in that extra time. The tailor also had me sign something to confirm I wanted the train taken off to make sure I understood that this was irreversible, which I understood and was happy to do. But after signing and confirming that I indeed wanted it all one length, she "took it upon herself" to leave a short sweep train. I only found this out at my final fitting, with only a week to fix it. In addition to this sweep, the front was still too long and I was tripping over the dress. At that point, I didn't trust the work here to have any faith that they could fix in a week what they couldn't do correctly over multiple months since my first fitting. I ended up taking the dress to another tailor and paying for a rush alteration before my wedding day. In one week, the other tailor did exactly what I asked for and made the dress the perfect length all around. On top of everything else, the other tailor told me that the hemming Bliss had done on my dress was in fact uneven (in addition to being too long). Lastly, the tailor is cash-only. I only note this because she never mentioned it to me before my final fitting when I had to pay, so I showed up unprepared. read more

I had such an amazing experience at Bliss Bridal and would recommend it to every bride in the WNY area. Gigi was amazing...she was helpful, knowledgeable, and let me try on every dress I wanted. She asked purposeful questions to get to know me and my vision. She pulled a dress I never would've picked, and I fell in love immediately. Even my 91 year old grandma gasped when she saw me in it. When I couldn't decide between two dresses, Gigi encouraged me to sleep on it which I really appreciated - of course I knew which dress I wanted the moment I stepped out the door. Planning a wedding in 6 months is a bit stressful, but Gigi made sure my dress would be on my door IN ALASKA with plenty of time for alterations. On top of all this, 2 days after I ordered the dress, I changed my mind on the color silk I wanted and Gigi took care of getting to the designer and asking for the change. 10/10 would recommend. I absolutely loved my experience with Bliss Bridal!! As a plus size bride there was a level of dread when it came to wedding dress shopping- so many shops don't carry plus sizes, or claim to but only have lower sizes in store and I heard horror stories about poor treatment which only added to my anxiety. I planned to order online but it felt so unfair to not have the experience of trying on dresses with my mom like so many other brides. I searched in local groups and saw people of every size recommending Bliss Bridal and knew I wanted to at least try! In the end I only went to one other shop "to be sure" and ended up right back at Bliss! I was helped by Laura during my first visit who, like everyone else there, was so wonderful! The experience felt so special and they were so accommodating and sweet! They were transparent with pricing and didn't bring any options outside my budget without asking first, and while they were honest in letting me know they don't hold dresses I never felt pressured to buy. I was able to try on so many options and ended up walking out with the dress of my dreams off the rack the same day! The shop is gorgeous, they really make you feel like a VIP, and their sizes are so inclusive! And they have a great variety of dresses for your wedding party too! I got my wedding dress at Bliss Bridal in Hamburg last year. The service was great, I went with my mother, grandmothers and aunt. We tried on a variety of dresses, the stylist was very helpful and definitely picked dresses in my style. I had called ahead about a particlar dress and they were very helpful and did have it in stock. My only complaint was the measurement and sizing of the dress. The stylist ordered my regular clothing size (at most bridesmaid dresses or wedding dresses, you get a larger size that then gets taken in). The dress was WAY too tight when I got it. Luckily I had my personal friend of the family tailor my dress (she had to let out as much as she could). I was very lucky it fit, but I would be weary of the sizing for future customers! read more

Stopped in to check out their selection. The staff and owner treated me as if I'd already booked an appointment with them and were waiting for me. I couldn't believe how amazing these ladies were. They chose dresses that suited my style and look I was going for. They were dead on. She gave me the option to look around but I didn't need to. I was there for less than 45 mins and I found two amazing dresses within my budget (and they worked on that with me as well). This place is all around five stars. If you're looking for the "Say Yes To The Dress" experience, this is the place you need to go. I'm in love with my dress and couldn't be more pleased with Bliss' service. When I had gone to Bliss Bridal I had already been to several other bridal shops throughout the area and had not found anything I loved. From the second I walked in the door I instantly fell in love with the shop. They have the cutest decor throughout the whole store. All of their gowns were not bagged which I felt helped me immensely since I was able to actually look at the dresses and decide if it was worth my time to try on. My consultant was soo helpful and pulled all the dresses she thought I would like and took me through practically every style of dress they had. I felt like I had found the one once I had tried on my second dress, but I just wanted to make sure. My consultant spent so much time with me so I could weigh out what I liked and didn't like about each dress. I ended up picking the most beautiful dress which was the second one I tried on and I couldn't be any more excited to wear this dress in a few months. Orginally I called on the phone to set up an appointment to pick up my dress, I struggled just to tell them I wanted to try it on. They told me we are packed full but we can put you somewhere. I got the the shop and walked in the put me all the way in the back and never came back to help me. And when I was done, I walked up to the front and they just said have a nice day. And I left. Very unhappy with the service. Didn't ask if we needed any help or if we were happy with our purchase. Just ignored me and my sister. Who is the bride, who also got her dress there. read more
