I was quite nervous because I was just looking for a "little white dress," not an expensive gown. So not only did I not know what I was doing, but I was afraid employees would look at me as more of an inconvenience. Wow, I could not have been more wrong. Despite the very clear fact that I was not going to be spending thousands of dollars, I was assigned to stylist PAIGE who immediately gave me her undivided attention and was focused on finding exactly what I wanted - and let me tell you, I am very picky when it comes to dresses. Paige and AMANDA practically forced me to try on a few different dresses even those I thought I would not like. They really are the experts, because they found a great dress for me and I fully trusted their opinions. I had so much fun with them through the whole process. By far the worst experience of my life. We started late, and while the girl helping me seemed nice at first, her attitude quickly shifted. As the night went on, she became visibly annoyed whenever my friends asked questions about other dresses in the store. After I tried on my last dress, one of my friends asked about another option, and another sales rep showed her a gown. Instead of being professional, she angrily snapped "no" in a whisper, clearly signaling to rush us out of there. No offense, but that is terrible customer service. I refuse to spend money on a wedding dress somewhere that treats people this way. She then looked at me and bluntly said my time was up -- even though my appointment had started late. It was 6:58, and she claimed the store was closing, but their own door clearly says they close at 7:30. The whole environment was unwelcoming compared to other bridal shops. No one smiled, no warmth, no excitement -- which is the bare minimum you'd expect during such a special moment. Because of this experience, I will absolutely refrain from doing any business with them and will tell others about how poorly they treat customers. DANGER!!! THEY LEFT THE PINS IN! Their alterations department is a mess. Not only do they overcharge for their services, but they don't even properly make the alterations. They took the laziest way out and it was visible in photography and everything what they had done. The worst part though, was being stabbed by needles when bending over to put my shoes on, because they had left MULTIPLE NEEDLES in my dress. I figured this was because when I tried on the alterations the first time, they didn't fix the stomach part correctly so we left it for them to fix. When I went to pick it up, they hadn't made the changes they said they were going to do and played it off as though they made the alterations when all they did was keep it in storage for a week. We simply didn't have time to leave it for another week and come back, so we took it as is and hoped for the best. The corset part of the dress was not strong enough to hold up and got really bad creases in it after around 1-2 hours. This wouldn't have happened had they done the boning we had asked them to do! I kept tripping on the back because they apparently didn't hem it correctly and the hem in the back fell out at some point (no it wasn't the bustle that fell out, it was the actual hem). Fun fact: this resulted in us falling to the ground during our first dance! Yay! Thanks David's Bridal! We had to go into the bathroom and jack up the dress with makeshift stitching to get it to hold up where the hem was, but ultimately I ended up just changing out of the dress. For the price we paid for alterations, I expected the highest quality of work. We got the lowest quality, and even got stabbed with needles. I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because had the dress been altered correctly, I did really love it! It was beautiful! I plan to take it to a different tailor and have it fixed properly to keep forever! So my advice to other buyers: Buy the dress here, get alterations done elsewhere! read more

Sam was my assistant and pulled great dresses for me to try on. She made the experience comfortable and listened to the styles that I had in mind. Even though I didn't end up saying yes to the dress that day, I still appreciate all of the help and her expertise. Looking to try on wedding dresses? Make your appointment easily online ahead of time. They are an hour and a half appointments. I recommend wearing a strapless bra and nylons to the appointment. Worst experience EVER! I had a scheduled appointment to come in to look for a wedding dress. I came in on time and was told my consultant wasn't there to go ahead and start to look around. Another consult was put with me while I waited for the assigned consultant and asked pant size and just told me the areas I can look,but nothing more than that. So obviously very overwhelmed have no idea what I'm looking for and no guidance at ALL. My consultant finally comes in 30 mins late. She seemed pretty unfriendly and distracted thr girls I came in were the only ones to help me pull a few dresses to try. While changing into dress my consultant was no where to be found never once came in to help with dresses or offered to. While I look to my side the girl beside me had 2 consultants helping. I was never measured at all and given wrong sized dresses so felt incredibly uncomfortable going out in a dress that wasn't even clipped to me to look like it fit correctly. All while multiple highschoolers where there getting prom dresses making it even more uncomfortable. When I came out in 3rd dress my friends informed me my consultant was off crying to a coworker so clearly something was going on in her personal life. It was wildly unprofessional and if something was going on another consultant should have taken her place. My friend that was helping my with the dresses got frustrated with everything going on and asked "do you want to come help her?!" The consultant FINALLY stepped in to help with clips. After last dress I left and knew I'd NEVER be coming back. Something that sound have been fun and excited left me anxious and in tears. It took me 2 months to even get myself to go to another bridal store to try again. My awful experience with David's bridal literally had me sick and tossing and turning before I went to the 2nd bridal shop fearing I'd have the same experience. Luckily the 2nd place I went to was not only SUPER professional,friend but also super helpful. Thank God there are some amazing bridal stores and consultants out there. Very crowded=very unhappy Little J. Came here on Saturday, with an appointment, group of 7 people. I don't want to embarrass the girl who was supposedly helping us, so we will call her Jane Doe. She didn't help anyone. She was rushing around like a chicken with her head cut off...for what purpose I do not know, because we were her only group she was supposed to be tending to. She gave us 2 fitting rooms. For 7 of us. Very rude. I understand it's busy, but appointments are made so that this shit doesn't happen. If someone comes with a group as a walk in, make them wait. I planned for this. Rude. Also-the rooms close with a curtain (not all the way, so I hope the girls you come with aren't self conscious). I didn't mind this, I would've changed in the middle of the store I don't care. But it definitely was a bother to others. I am sad that it was such a bad experience because I loved a dress from here. I went into David's Bridal well over a year in advance of my wedding with the intention of trying some dresses on, getting a sense of what I liked, going home to think about it, and then coming back to make a purchase. This is how I work when it comes to expensive purchases. My advice is that if you think like that too, don't tell your DB consultant. I did, and that was pretty much the end of her interest in me. In fact, another girl's consultant frankly seemed more attentive to me than my own. To be honest, I wasn't expecting to be fawned over. I just figured that if I explained the style I was looking for that I would get a little more help finding dresses of that type. But because I wasn't buying that day, there was no reason for my consultant to take that kind of time. Also, my consultant asked me whether I already had a photographer and when I said yes (one of my very good friends is an incredible photographer) she looked aghast and said, "Well, but did you sign the contract yet?" I very nearly laughed right there. The only time the consultant seemed interested in me was when I tried on a dress that I really liked and that seemed like a serious contender. I think she thought I might bite. But frankly, I have no interest in buying from DB at this point. I mean if I found an awesome dress, that would be one thing. But I would definitely ask for a different consultant. Oh, and icing on the cake funny story: a few weeks later I got a call from my consultant following up on my visit. I told her I was not yet interested in setting up another appointment. We hung up. 45 minutes later, the phone rings again. Guess who? I told her that I had just spoken with her a little while earlier. She said she didn't realize someone else had called me. I laughed and said that she had called me. She did seem a little embarrassed about that. I'm sure she had lots of people to call and probably didn't remember half of them and I don't blame her for that. It just made me laugh. My advice is that if you're looking to save money (why else go to DB rather than a boutique like Victoria's Bridal, etc.) try one of the many used dress sites that sell dresses that have been worn once, or sometimes never at all. Or go to DB but expect the specialness of the experience to come from you, not the store. read more

David's was my first stop for gown shopping because they are one of the few stores that carry dresses to try on in sizes larger than 10. There is a huge selection of both bridal gowns and bridesmaids dresses. My advice for a trip to David's: When they ask you if you have booked your photographer and chosen your invites, tell them yes (even if you haven't). Otherwise they will try to sell you on their photography services and wedding invites in their "tour" of the shop. Take a look online for dresses that you like and write down the style numbers. While they have a huge selection of dresses, they are crammed together on the racks so it is hard to really see them and pull them out when looking through the store. When you fill out the questionnaire when you first come in, make sure you check the box that you do not consent to them selling your name. Within 48 hours of my visit to the store I was spammed with several phone calls about "winning a contest" I had never entered. Ask for opinions from others in the dressing room or the people you brought in to try on dresses. The sales girls are there to sell you a dress so you will look "stunning" and "gorgeous" in every single dress - even if it is the most hideous thing you have ever seen. Don't expect the experience you see on shows like "Say Yes to the Dress." You can get excellent service (depending on the consultant that works with you) but you won't have a huge, glamorous fitting room. In fact, if it is a busy day, you'll have to wait your turn for the platform/mirrors. At check out, they will pressure you to purchase extras like gown preservation. Be prepared for some pressure to say yes to these add ons. All in all, I had a good experience at David's and literally cried when I put on the dress that I knew would end up being my dress. Was it a glamorous, amazing shopping experience? No. But was it perfect for what I needed? (looking for and finding a dress I felt beautiful in without breaking the bank) Yes. read more

This is my first time writing a review, but after my experience at David's Bridal, I had to. I have not been to David's bridal in about 25 years and I will never go back. I took my daughter prom dress shopping on Saturday at the Niagara Falls Blvd. location. It was our first stop and my daughters first time trying on prom dresses. When we got there, we were greeted by 3 different women at the check in desk. We did not have an appointment as the website said walk-ins welcome. The women said that hopefully a dressing room would be available without an appointment. I was holding 7 dresses and needed to ask if a room was available. She took the dresses to a room. We went into the dressing room where there were 4 rooms in a row. Three were taken, and my daughter got the last one in the row. The rooms were so small with no mirrors and no chairs. I was literally bumping into another mom looking at my daughter. I noticed larger empty rooms available and asked to move into a bigger room. I was told no, they were only for appointments. I counted and there were 21 empty rooms!!!!!!!! Larger rooms with mirrors! At no time did any of the employees come and check on us, ask if we needed a different size or ask how we were doing. I watched the check in station and there were between 3-5 women standing there at all times! And not one person came to check on us. Finally after they knew I was staring, trying to understand why, a young lady asked if she could take any of the dresses we didn't want. I asked if I would have had an appointment, would we get help. She said YES!! So because we didn't have an appointment, we were smushed into a small space with no help! What a terrible experience! I would have bought the $300 dress if they weren't so rude and actually helped us and made us feel like valued customers. Sad that my daughter did not get the full experience. Still shocked at the way we're treated and the terrible customer service we received. I would never recommend David's Bridal to anyone, even with an appointment after our terrible treatment. read more

My Dress: Coral Sweetheart Neckline I came here to find a bridesmaid's dress for my friend's wedding. Pros - Good quality dresses at a variety of brands, colors and shades - Definitely a one stop shop for wedding attire. From veils to heels... dresses to jewelry, I'm sure you'll get most of your clothing shopping done at David's bridal! - I was pleasantly surprised to find that the sales associate, who helped us a month prior, remembered the conversations we had with her about my friend's wedding. Cons - My friend's wedding dress (to which she bought there) was short a sash that was supposed to come with the dress. - Their dresses are a little more costly because you are going to a specialty boutique. All else aside, there were a few things I didn't like. However, it has no relevance with the store itself. Try to find your dress & order it at least a few months prior to your wedding (for shipping & just in case you need alterations). Just saying. I would think that since the staff handle weddings and wedding dresses everyday, that they wouldn't treat "our special day" as very special (since handling weddings are commonplace for them). I'm sure everyone goes dress shopping expecting some type of help/experience from the employees. My appointment was on 10/8 @6PM. As my first appointment ever bridal dress shopping, I'm now sitting at home without a dress, discouraged and very disappointed. I picked out the dresses I wanted to try on and we then waited for the lady to bring them to the stage to get the dresses out of the bags and let me try them on. We saw the dresses on stage and assumed we can start trying the dresses on but didn't see the lady anywhere. Didn't know where to start trying the dresses on. My MOH had to go in the dressing room with me which was like a small closet meant for one person with no mirrors to help me get the dress on. After trying on 3 dresses my "stylist" came over and said sorry no rush but we're closing early today. No one told me before hand they were closing early so I felt rushed. If this is how every "experience" is at David's I advise any bride to be to go somewhere else where someone is assigned to your party and actually helps style you. Wish I had pictures of every dress I tried on with everyone looking to show she wasn't even there the whole time. read more

I Had such a great time at David's. This was only my second appt and I made the appointment (sorry mom) as a last minute decision because my mom wanted it to just be us, as my first one I had a crew of people. Never in a million years did I think I'd find something. My first appt at Alfred's was a bust, the service was nice but the styles just didn't fit a 25 year old bride. I was looking for something younger and semi modern which, even though the service was nice, the couldn't live up to just because they didn't carry the styles I was looking for. David's superseded my expectations. I found a shape I loved and a dress I almost bought. By the end i have most of the staff over suggesting different alterations with the neckline and putting my moms wedding dress buttons on the bustle. I'm not sure if they work on commission, but they didn't pressure me to make a purchase. Molly, actually took a chance and brought back the last dress I tried on-the one I just LOVED. She was putting sashes on me and shoes and I just felt so appreciated there. Thanks again Molly! I'm the person to look around more before purchasing, but if I don't find anything I will be getting that dress. read more

An awful experience! I got there on time with the family, signed in and waited for 15 minutes. I then asked the lady I saw at the front desk why is taking so long and if she forgot about us, and she said we didn't have an appointment and I told her we did! comes to find out, the lady that we talked to, never put us in the book. I was annoyed because now they have to find someone to take care of us so we waited another 10 minutes. So finally they put us in a place to review my daughters dresses and when all of the sudden, one of the staff members brings another family to the same location that we were!! So here we are, two families reviewing the daughters dresses. I was upset! I thought this was a private setting. I didn't want to be there any longer. I wanted to leave but finally, the lady that was taking care of us moved us to another place after reviewing my daughters first dress. This being the first time for my daughter as the bride to be to purchase a wedding dress and me as the Father of the Bride to be, was the biggest disappointment we have experienced so far. I was in my cousin's wedding, and the staff suggested that I order a size 16 bridesmaid dress, reasoning that "our sizes are based on an old measurement system." I am 5"1' and weigh 110 pounds, I typically am between a size 2 & a size 4, depending on the label/brand. Due to the turn-around time between placing my order and the dress arriving in-store, I ordered a size 12; believing the size 16 would be way too big, but the store had me fearing that a size 6 or size 8 would be way too small and it'd be too late to order a larger size. So the dress arrived, size 12, and was about 4 sizes too big! I had to buy a dress I didn't even like and then pay almost as much to have it altered in-store. A few years later I got married and regrettably got my wedding gown here. The WNY area doesn't really have a wide selection of bridal gowns, so I sort of had to. However I ordered the size 4 wedding gown and had a friend shorten it, she also did the alterations on my bridesmaids' gowns. read more

I was invited for viewing and decision making by the bride. The shop was crowded and chaotic. The girl assigned to our bride didn't do much to help "say yes to the dress", no fluffing, straightening of trains, offer of headpiece, belt or other accessories. The bridesmaids were shown swatches and the racks to pick from then hearded in to share dressing rooms...then our sales girl was attentive! By then we didn't need her. I would not recommend based on the service received. The bride and her girls were ultimately happy, so I guess that's all that matters. read more

I ordered a bridesmaids dress online on April 4th. On April 5th I checked the status of the dress so I knew when to keep an eye out for the delivery. I noticed my order status was "still processing" and also noticed there was a new deal which in the end would save me $17.40. I called the customer service number and the gentleman on the said "I will cancel the order" as I was able to due to it still being processed. After I was told me order was cancelled, I made the same purchase. Lo and behold, both dresses were shipped. Meaning, I was charged for both dresses.... the order was not cancelled as I was so clearly told. I live close to this location and had some errands to run. While I was out and about I walked in and was greeted by a friendly woman. I asked if I could return online dresses here and she said "Yes, wait in line and so and so will help you." After waiting for about 15 minutes and quite clearly overhearing a complaining customer who received the wrong styled bridesmaid dress due to the store screwing up the item number, I was told online purchases could not be made at store locations. The woman working, who was probably flustered about the previous customer, made me seem like an idiot! Sorry I didn't have a chance to read the fine print and just assumed the same company selling the same stupid dresses would in fact take the return, WHAT WAS I THINKING? read more

I went to David's Bridal with my friend (bride) and the other maids to try on dresses. The bride had an appointment first and ended up choosing a dress. The next appointment was for us to try on bridesmaids dresses. The consultant was not very nice and she kept walking away and when she came back, she couldn't remember that we were her clients. She was not very helpful with styles or sizes. We basically did everything ourselves. We ended up choosing a knee length chiffon dress in the color oasis. The only thing the consultant did was take the measurements which didn't matter because she just ordered the next size up anyway. The bride's dress was ordered in the next size up and it was still small when it came in. Also, she is pretty tall and the dress was too short. Why did the consultant measure her height if she was not going to get the dress made properly? The bride was told by 4 different consultants that adding length to the dress was impossible so she did not take it for alterations there. She ended up taking it to a family friend who designs wedding gowns and she was able to add length. David's Bridal is just not experienced enough or is just too lazy to make the necessary changes for a bride on her special day. The Maid of Honor was from out of town so she had her dress shipped to her, the rest of us were able to pick them up from the store. My dress came in before my twin sister's dress which was odd since we both ordered the same size. Her dress didn't come in until 3 weeks later. When we tried our dresses on together we noticed that one dress was darker than the other. We immediately called and the representative kept saying that they didn't use dye lots and that we would have to bring them in for inspection. We met with the bride and brought the 3 dresses back to the store The manager held them up to the natural light and said "well, there isn't much of a difference." The bride said "you said difference so you acknowledge that there is a color difference when you said that you do not use dye lots." The woman rolled her eyes and huffed over to the register to order us new dresses. The good thing is that they came in pretty quickly. I have been told my multiple other people not to get alterations done by David's Bridal. After my experience there was no way I was going to give them anymore business. Most of my complaints have been already covered in other reviews, so I won't spend much time complaining about the pushiness, general chaos, or crowded nature of this store. A lot of the downfalls of this place could have been ignored if I had tried on dresses that I liked. I didn't. My stylist didn't bring me one dress that even remotely made me happy. When I pointed out things that I didn't like about a dress in hopes of having her bring me something different, she tried to get the alterations department involved to "make the dress what I want". I'm not at a point in the wedding dress hunt that I'm willing to start building my own dress out of a dress that I detest. David's Bridal is a great first stop if you are looking for a way to ease into the wedding dress hunt. Cons - -dirty bathroom, toilet full of pee and no lock on the door -dressing area is a disaster zone. I had zero privacy because the curtains don't close all the way so many workers and other guests saw me in the buff. -my dressing 'stall' had other women's dresses in them that had left already. - you cannot 'see' anything because all the dresses are smooshed into plastic wardrobe bags -if the floor has an order to it, it's very confusing and not user friendly -no specialist were available to help me at the time so I was partnered with another employee who didn't specialize in fittings -nobody helped me into my dress. -nobody helped me zip up. -nobody was around to take my dress from me. I was exhausted after having to maneuver around two dresses and ended up walking out. read more

Before I even dreamed of being engaged I was watching way too much "Say Yes to the Dress". I dreamed about going to Kleinfeld's, being catered to by the staff and trying on gorgeous designer gowns. But alas, I cannot afford those beauteous gowns so when I got engaged I had to take a step back or two from my crazy imagination. My Mom and sister were visiting me and I knew I needed to make an appointment to go dress shopping. I saw that David's recently started carrying some amazing Vera Wang gowns so I figured this could cater to my more expensive taste. I made the appointment for a Saturday morning which was my first big mistake. It was a jungle of peppy, overwhelmed sales people. Brides complaining that "this just wasn't the one" and lots of other family members milling about, grabbing dresses, shoes and veils. I met my consultant who was friendly but seemed a little... fake. I don't remember her name. She told me to go pick out a bunch of dresses. I had a whole bunch with me and eventually found my consultant again and she brought me to a dressing room. Then she disappeared, only to conveniently reappear as soon as I managed to try a dress on. I only tried on about 3 dresses when I found one that fit (the dreaded bridal sizes made me feel like a whale) and I just felt so pretty in. My mom, sister and future MIL all ooed and awed. My sister snagged a veil for me and I twirled around on the pedestal, imagining my big day. Until another bride emerged from her dressing room, looking for her time to shine. So I pondered while standing to the side. Then the consultant arrives. She goes on and on about how awesome I look then brings another veil. We are brought to the extra spotlight 3-way mirror area. I eventually decided this dress would be mine and my consultant passed me off to the check out staff. I can't say this was a glamorous shopping trip and it certainly was not as pumped up as SYTD made it out to be, but I found *my dress* and got a good deal on it. read more

For starters, they apparently don't know how to measure properly since she was swimming in the dress. This "we'll just order the next size up" thing seems to be standard operating procedure for them. Why bother measuring if you're going to just guesstimate the proper size (and get it wrong) anyway? Then, she'd intended on having a friend do the alterations, but she ended up being too busy, so she went with David's for the alterations. It was admittedly last minute, but she paid a "rush" fee to get the alterations done within a week. She had a 6:00 appointment to get the dress, but managed to get out of work early and called to ask if the dress was ready and if she'd be able to come in about an hour early. They told her to come right in. When she got there, it turns out the dress was not done yet. They asked her to wait an hour for them to do the alterations or told her she could come back later. So, she drove there, in rush hour traffic, on Niagara Falls Blvd to find out that nobody actually checked to see if her dress was ready before they told her to come in. So, they waited until the last possible minute to perform the alterations, and greatly inconvenienced her in the process. They refunded the rush fee and a portion of the alteration fee, but there is absolutely no way she'd ever go to this location again. read more

I have to say that I went into David's expecting it to be depressing and soul sucking. It was exactly the opposite. The women who worked there spent a whole lot of time exclaiming over my engagement ring, which obviously anyone would like. At first I was worried that our consultant was going to be prissy, but she actually turned out to be really knowledgeable and helpful. She helped me in and out of close to 10 dresses. And she brought me pearls to try on with my dress and helped me pick out veils and hair pieces that would go with the dress. I also like the system they have where they show you where the dresses in your size are and maybe help you pick out a few but otherwise just let you browse. I didn't feel pressured at any point of my visit. In the end I didn't get my dress from David's, but I was THIS CLOSE. The prices are certainly right! My only criticisms are that the dresses aren't of the highest quality (but how can you expect them to be for that price?) and the woman who welcomed us when we walked in was busy talking to another sales associate and kind of ignored us while we were filling out our "intake form." But overall, I was really pleasantly surprised with my experience. read more

After hearing so many great reviews about David's Bridal I decided to go & check it out for myself & ooh boy what a shocker OMG this was the worst Wedding Dress Shopping experience of my life. I walked into this store with very high expectations of good service & hoping to walk away with a dress. But alas to my horror & dismay the wedding consultant I got was terrible, totally clueless & just horrific to work with. The jaw dropping part was the consultant forcing me to buy a dress that was 2 sizes too big & telling me that if I buy it straight off the rack she will take the dress to the back room & give it a quick clean up to remove dirt & makeup that was on the dress & then I can take it to a seamstress and she can make the necessary alterations......WTF I left the store so upset that I couldn't think straight. What the heck goes on in these "bridal stores". I will NEVER EVER GO BACK TO DAVID'S BRIDAL!!!!! read more

I usually dont do reviews but I have a wedding in 2-3 weeks and it was a small family oriented one so i didnt want to spend so much on a dress,i tried to pull a Carrie Bradshaw by buying something short and vintage but after several phone calls with both mothers i had to go get a dress fast. I went in alfred angelos to look around. There were 3 if them just sitting there doing nothing but told me i needed an appointment even after i told them i need one asap. So next and final stop was davids. I did go at a random time on a friday around 3 and i looked around for a bit and was approached by maryann she was amazing and when she heard the date she immediately started picking out dresses with me and put me into a room. She tied my hair again and matched the belt the veil and tried to keep everything in my price range. I walked out of davids bridal after trying on about 6-10 dresses with the first wedding dress i ever stepped into with the belt and veil she picked out for me. Love. I was very pleasantly surprised with my experience at David's Bridal. I was nervous about dress shopping - I'm not at all a diva, and I'm not used to so much personal attention! Luckily, my experience was both low-key and informative. They told me on the phone that there were no appointments that day and that if I came in I might not even be able to use a dressing room. But after hearing that I was from out of town, the woman encouraged me to come by. And I was so glad I did! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and assigned a staff member, Jacquie. She was amazing - very low pressure, really listened to what I wanted, and made great suggestions. This was my first dress-shopping experience, and I was really encouraged by it. This was a really amazing place to start, and who knows? Maybe Jacquie will be right and I will be back to purchase that dress! read more

Horrible experience. We had an appointment to find a mother's dress. The person greeting us was very unfriendly on the verge of being rude. She sent us to look at stock and we were told our consultant would be right with us. During our search, another consultant told us we were looking at bridesmaid dresses, not mother dresses. Does it really matter what rack it came off of if it is the right dress After 25 minutes of pulling our own dresses, and beginning to try them on without the consultant, she finally showed up. She then just stood there and watched us, giggling at how efficient we were. We found a beautiful dress, and we ordered it online from David's, getting a better price and didn't have to deal with the terrible staff. read more

I got my dress here, went to my first fitting, and realized I didn't love it. The entire staff of this location has been so incredibly helpful and patient as I tried on different dresses, and traded in my first one for one that I truly love. Sarah, Rachel, and Tara in particular have been extremely kind, and so great to deal with. I cannot thank them enough. They have made this whole situation way less stressful than it could've been. I purchased the dress I love, and can't wait to see it again at my fitting! read more

I ordered my bridesmaids dresses here. When I first came with 2 of my bridesmaids, the lady who helped us didn't really seem to care about us or her job. We did most of it ourselves. It was a very simple search, since we all knew what we wanted. We were there maybe 30 minutes. They were able to purchase their dresses that day. I came with my other 2 bridesmaids and it was another similar experience. The dresses took anywhere from 1 week to 1 month to came in. They all fit perfectly. The biggest issue I have is that their sizes are offensive. My maid of honor is a size 2 but they ordered a size 8 for her and it fit. She said she had never even worn a 4. Also, my friend who is a size 8 fit in and ordered a 16. She said she had never been a plus size and I could tell she was upset about it. I'm not sure why the sizes are so different that regular standards. read more

I made an appointment for a Saturday morning to try on wedding dresses. I arrived exactly on-time, and was told no one was available to help me yet. This was all I had planned for the day, so I wasn't stressing. I browsed, and browsed... and browsed. After 23 minutes of wandering around (I have time stamped texts from when I arrived and when I started trying on), someone finally came over to help me. We pulled three dresses from the rack to try on. The attendant set me up in a fitting room, gave me a corset bra, and told me to disrobe and she'd be right back. She didn't come right back, so after getting tired of waiting I just got myself into one of the dresses. Midway through me trying on dress #2 she popped back, told me what I'd picked didn't really flatter my figure, and disappeared again. Tried on the third dress solo, and then sat in the dressing room and waited for her to come back. While stewing in the fitting room, I overheard a woman trying to pick up her dress arguing with a staff member. They had written down her pick up date as her wedding date, and a week before her wedding the dress wasn't ready for her. Instead of being apologetic and helpful, the staff person was walking the line of rudeness, blaming the bride for giving them the wrong pick up date (which, obviously I don't know the whole story, but I find it difficult to believe anyone planning a wedding would schedule a dress pickup on the day of). Between my experience up to this point and listening to this conversation, I asked myself why the hell I was still sitting there. I (slowly, so they still had a chance to come back and redeem the visit) got out of the stupid corset bra, got dressed, grabbed the paper with my contact details on it, and walked out of the store. No one noticed or said anything to me when I left. What really kills me about this is that the place wasn't even busy. If it had been a madhouse I would have been irritated but understanding, but there were maybe four people in the entire store trying on dresses. If they can't handle that volume on a Saturday morning, they're in the wrong business. I could not have been more disappointed, especially since this is one of the few shops in the area that carries extended sizes on the racks. Definitely would not recommend this store to anyone. read more

I honestly have heard nothing bad bad things about David's Bridal, so when my friend wanted to shop here I got nervous. I have to say though when I went with my friend and she was shopping for a bridal dress I loved how she was treated. She had a great experience, everyone was extremely nice and helpful to her. We all had tons of fun, honestly! We came back for the bridesmaids dresses, this place is always chaos honestly. But, it's somehow organized chaos haha! When I tried on bridesmaid dresses they were helpful and made me feel good! While I was there I brought my mom along for her to look for a dress for my wedding. I also loved how my mom was treated! She loved strutting around in dresses and getting honest feedback, she also found her dress that day! I have to say, I was completely wrong about this place. I'm glad my friend, mom & myself all had a great experience. Thanks! read more
