When we got out internet hook up there was something up with the electricity flowing to our house, it was dangerously high or something, I didn't quite grasp the exact thing. But NPU came right out! Did some stuff. Cable company comes back to do the internet, nope, things are still wonky, NPU comes right out AGAIN! Replaces a whole thing on a pole, got up hooked up to that pole again, all was cool. But like, that a thing that was interrupting our WiFi service, our power was fine in the house, but they came right over, more than once, to make sure we had what we needed and also make sure it didn't become a big scary problem for us, as far as power goes. Plus, whenever there's a storm with outages, they are amazing about keeping their customers informed, so I always know they know where the problems are, and they regularly post updates, so if you're without power you know they're on it, and they honestly talk about time frames so you can keep your hopes and expectations realistic and it's so terribly comforting.

I've been partially paralyzed for 12yrs and rely on an electric chair 24hrs/day. I was nervous that I might run out of fuel. Quality Propane greatly relieved my anxiety by directng my son on how to verify the status of the tanks [which was completely different from my generator manual] and assured me there was fuel for 4 days or more. I am on the auto delivery for oil and they keep my tank full. 10 month payment plan with an annual maintenance done. 4 stars because I would recommend they call you annually to set uo the maintenance. Most other home maintenance companies I deal with make it a point to callbor send a reminder post card. Would be great if Andersen Oil did that. And if they computerized their paement system so you can pay online. They still rely on the snail mail for bills.

The delivery driver had left a note apologizing for the mistake and asking me to call down and make arrangements with the office. Fast forward a couple days and there was a bit of a mix up with our payment arrangement, after calling to find out what happened, they managed to call my bank and fix things before I had a chance to. Super friendly people down there, you just don't see that kind of service anymore. Needless to say, they got a customer for a long time here! Can't reccomend them enough!!

Books genealogy and…read moreOtis The first Norwich library was built in 1849 with money donated by Deacon (Joseph) Otis; Like most of the libraries back then it was a subscription library and only became a free library in 1891. The old Greek Revival building was pretty cool but it was just to small to accommodate the growing community and so a new, larger but more ordinary building was built in the 1960s. Over the years the new building also proved to be inadequate so the library managed to receive a 4.5 million dollar grant in 2004 for renovations and improvements. This was the largest library grant in state's history and certain turned the library into a wonderful place to research and visit. Unfortunately over the last few years money has been scarce and the library has been losing funding, resulting in loss of hours and programs. Hopefully this will change in the near future. Lot of open space, cool places to sit and a extremely useful local history and genealogy room. A lovely area for kids and even a pleasant little courtyard outside. Not a historical or stunning building like lots of the many of the old libraries in the area but one that has a charming and friendly atmosphere and is a library that is a very pleasant place to work, learn or just look around.

He installed my boiler (improperly - he continues to insist it was done correctly but 2 heating contractors have now told me the installation was not done correctly) and 2 years later it's costing me a ridiculous amount of money to fix. No one that works for him has any idea what they are doing. I was charged $200 per hour for the technician to sit on the phone in his van with tech support for over 2 hours! For all I know I was being charged $200 per hour for that guy to talk to his girlfriend! This company has no scruples so I wouldn't put it past them! Besides, I didn't realize customers now foot the bill for on the job training! If you have money to burn use this company but money will be the only thing burning if you do - it certainly won't be your boiler!

I found Q's on Yelp and looked at the reviews and contacted Mark (the owner). He got back to me very quickly! When my furnace had issues they came out same day and the price didn't break my budget. Chris and Mike came out and serviced my furnace, they were professional, quick and efficient. I can't recommend them enough to everyone I know. The prices are great, the wait time wasn't bad and the quality is awesome. Now I don't have to worry about my furnace going into winter. One less worry!!
