They have a good selection of plumbing supplies - not just for newer plumbing, but for old, oddball plumbing - the kind of stuff that Home Depot wouldn't have. Whether you are plumbing new-construction houses, or repairing plumbing on a 100-year-old house, they've got you covered. Coverage of heating supplies is equally impressive. Some supply houses focus on boilers (heating with water or steam), while others focus on furnaces (heating with air), but Atlantic has parts for both boilers and furnaces, as well as air conditioning and even oil burners. They truly are a one-stop supply house. The selection is amazing, and their service is equally good, both in product knowledge, and speed at putting your order together. John, the owner, has helped me troubleshoot difficult oil burner problems. The countermen - including Anthony, Joe and Ryan - are all excellent, and some of the fastest countermen I've had the pleasure to deal with (and I've dealt with plenty of slooooow countermen at other supply companies). All of them have very lively personalities, too. I've had many laughs and fun times there, which is rare for a plumbing supply company. While they cater mainly to plumbing, heating and HVAC professionals, I have seen them help homeowners also. They are located off Tiogue Avenue (they are set back a ways off the road, behind CPM Automotive). Just be careful when you are pulling back out onto Tiogue Avenue (especially if you are turning left), because it is a very busy road, and vehicles travel relatively fast.

This past summer, we noticed a very bad smell in the house when the AC was running. We hadn't had our annual cleaning yet. We called them to see if we could book that, but once we describe the smell, they came out right away as they suspected the smell was mold. And, they were correct. We ended up having to replace our entire system; it was 15 years old. It was a very hot week and it was going to take several days before they could get the new system in and install it. They offered to loan us a wall unit while we waited for installation, but our windows couldn't support the weight. So what did they do? They went out and bought a portable floor unit just to lend to us! I was beyond touched that they were willing to do this for us. That was way above and beyond. They definitely earned a customer for life in us. Highly recommend!
