I had traveled to New London for a long weekend to attend a friend's memorial service and after my arrival on Thursday I realized I had forgotten the charger for my Phonak hearing aids. It was going to be a tough weekend. I decided to make some calls and see if I could find help and to make a long story short, I was lucky enough to call Thames and speak to Krista. After checking with audiologist Jean P. Tuneski, she told me they would loan me a charger. They never mentioned a fee or security deposit, just offered to loan me the charger. I struggled for a while to find someone who wanted to tackle some of the issues I was having. I still feel like I'm off in the weeds at times but at least I have Laporta. This country's system is the problem. What they've done to us financially, nutritionally, psychologically... I digress. LaPorta office is decent, a lot of aggravation with scripts being sent wrong or not at all, but at least she's there for me; it's tough to get appointments at times and I just have to call a few too many times for my liking, but maybe she's just that popular
