It's not. The first one retired. I stuck with the second one for 10 years and since moving it is a 45 minute drive and some times of day the traffic can be a problem. That's why I went to Connaughty. I have been twice and am very happy with the results. The first night after treatment I could sleep without excruciating pain, some pain still but I could sleep. We are using Active Release Technology and muscle stimulation. Dr. Connaughty is personable and explains things very well. The stim technician obviously knows her job as this is the first time I could feel the result of treatment. She got the right placement of the leads and the right intensity to start with. I went here worried that I would not like the treatment and have to keep trying other options. Far, far, far from that. Very happy starting treatment here!

I was not happy about this at all - I wanted a quick fix to be pain free and thought (naively) that surgery was the answer. I live close to Spectrum, so based on physical proximity (and the recommendation of a friend) I made an appointment with Corey. Long story short, I am in 95% less pain, sleep all night through again, and have far more range of motion than I did a few months ago. Therapy is as much fun as working hard can be, but we DO laugh (often) and I AM so much better than I was. The facility is clean, well-lit, and the bathroom is clean, too. Corey seem to have all the requisite tools, AND the necessary expertise. He is not just competent and trained in his field, he is so contagiously passionate about health and fitness! The tablet will not let you decline without logging out so she spoke to a supervisor and they said they would not see me without the authorization to keep a card on file, so I left. When I asked her why my husband didn't need to authorize automatic charges to a card when he had an appointment six days ago, I was told the policy went into effect two days ago. I called two other local eye doctor offices and neither of them keep patient's cards on file so I made an appointment with one of them instead.

Hello all, looks like I am looking for a new eye doctor…read more I had my annual appointment with Middlesex Eye Physicians on Saybrook Rd this morning. I have been going to them every year since I returned to CT after 20+ years in the Air Force and never had an issue. Until today. Now they primary purpose to to collect money from you no matter what, not provide quality optometry services to the Middletown area. Apparently they need to keep your credit card on file now with them. In fact, they won't even see you anymore if you do not consent to that. As I was told by the desk supervisor, this is company policy and there are no exceptions. There was a manager in a higher position there, but they refused to come out and talk to me. So they cancelled my appointment. Many may think that isn't an issue, but I do. They have no need to my card when I see them once a year and have always paid all invoices on time. This is how your information gets stolen. My family has been going to this outfit for literally generations. No more. I will not be blackmailed by them just to be seen by their docs. I won't be using them anymore. I dont promote boycotts but am asking folks to be aware of your personal information and do what you can do to protect it. Don't give it out if you don't need to. I am recommending family and friends to reevaluate your relationship with Middlesex Eye Physicians and decide if you want to be abused by this extreme company policy. I have enjoyed seeing Dr Yap, but your company won't allow that anymore. So, any recommendations for an optometrist would be appreciated. I thank you all in advance and will return to my lurking.
