Our job was simple: move out our furniture into our home garage, basement and bathrooms for us to do the flooring of our home. Marty jumped on the assessment, came quickly and estimated the cost of 3 hrs. After that, he was out of reach. I left him multiple messages about the contract for example to clarify some things and he never called me back. His appointment manager did everything possible to reach him and then she would give me a call back with information. It was just a weird red flag about this company. We didn't pay anything yet but I can't even confirm how it works. He doesn't call at all. Why? No idea. So it happened and we had some damage accidentally during the move out. Minor but kept us vigilant and uneasy about dealing with Marty. Again, I left multiple messages to get clarity on how damages are handled and nothing. The assistant refused to engage in the subject telling me that she doesn't handle contract details. Ok..... they just replaced the rolling leg on the cabinet drawers they broke to appease and it didn't even fit... Fast forward to move (back) in. Massive water damage due to Marty's guys storing things improperly in the tub and not making sure the faucet is securely off. It turned out, it was dripping for a whole week and everything in the tub was soaking wet (name brand purses in luggages, clothing, towels, comforters, pillows...) and moldy. The guys admitted they shouldn't have used the tub at all for storage. It was a bad idea. In all of this, I asked Marty to call me back and I sent him pictures of all the new found damage as we unboxed everything fully (3 days after the move in) and he wouldn't call back. Brushes the whole thing off as if it is not their fault. They reimbursed only a fraction of the cost and ignore every request to contact us. It's very frustrating. Massive losses that can easily add up to more $1500 not to mention the headache of dealing with all the wet contents of the luggage and pillows with moldy smell. I can't unrecommend Marty enough. Please stay away and get a better communicating guy who cares about his client and communicates better.

They said they will send 4 movers and they were only 2 with the driver. They had to finish loading by noon and they finished at 1:15 pm. On the way to the destination they stopped for lunch and arrived at 2:45pm. The condo I am moving in has strict rules that they have to leave the building at 5pm. They succeeded to bring everything upstairs but no time was left to assemble back what the disassembled. Three movers arrived, led by a foreman named Steve. They were instructed to place the sofa and love seat in a designated dumpster area. During the move, the team used our bathroom while working in the bedroom. Shortly after they left, my daughter arrived home and immediately realized that her gold, diamond, and pink sapphire necklace -- a deeply sentimental graduation gift she'd worn almost daily for three years -- was missing. It had been safely in the bedroom that morning, and she hadn't worn it that day due to her outfit choice. We searched thoroughly. It was gone. I texted Steve immediately and asked for his manager's contact information. When he called back, I explained what happened. His first response was dismissive: "Great Movers isn't responsible for stolen items." No empathy, no concern, no sense of accountability. Over the next three days, I called the company multiple times and left messages for management (Saad or anyone in charge) -- not a single call was returned. Zero acknowledgment. As if that wasn't enough, I then received a call from building management saying the movers had dumped my furniture next to a pizza shop's dumpster, upsetting the business owner. I had clearly told them to place the items inside the designated dumpster area. When I called again, the dispatcher promised to contact Steve. Steve later claimed I "never said anything" about a designated area -- an outright lie. He finally returned to move the furniture to the proper spot, but even then, he set it next to the dumpster until I told him to put it inside. When I again brought up the stolen necklace, he was cold, sarcastic, and emotionless. I told him I would be filing a police report and that if the necklace was returned, there would be no questions asked. His only reply was to ask "where it was located." It is now November 5, and I have still received no response from Great Movers management. This experience has been deeply upsetting, not only because of the stolen jewelry and unprofessional conduct, but also because of the company's complete lack of integrity, accountability, and compassion. My advice: DO NOT USE GREAT MOVERS. If you value your belongings -- and basic human decency -- find another moving company. Great Movers = Great Disappointment.

Before they even arrived, I got a tracking link to follow their location just like Uber, which immediately made me feel at ease. Crisanto and his crew showed up right on time and were incredible. They worked quickly but carefully, wrapping all of my furniture and somehow managing three giant mirrors without a single issue. Not one complaint and not one moment of stress. What really stood out was how above and beyond they went. They helped me figure out which part of my couch would actually fit in my space, laid out my rugs, and organized everything so I could still move around my studio comfortably. Also shoutout to one of the crew members who was on his first day. You truly could not tell. The whole team was professional, efficient, and just genuinely great to work with.
