10 Stars! Jason Murley, for me, has forever broken the mold of the stereotypical car salesman. So much so, I drove 13 hours round trip from Indiana to Iowa to buy a car from him. With 2023 being the last year for the beloved Stinger, I started looking for one. I looked at no less than a dozen different dealerships and spoke to even more salesmen. Luckily, Jason was one of them. Over the course of our discussions Jason set himself apart from all the others by being very personable, and it became clear to me that he had integrity and high principle. Much more so than any salesman I have ever met. And he went the extra mile to help me get exactly the deal I wanted. It's hard to put into words, but my intuition told me Jason was genuine and someone I could trust. You cannot go wrong with buying a car from him. The world needs more Jasons. read more

Brought in 2022 kia sorento for 40,000 checkup and oil change.They promised to do full inspection.They didn't inspect anything no report on breakes.Cabin filter was filthy and so was exterior air filter.They will not do anything they are saposto do.Tech who did oil change was lazy didn't rotate tires like they said they did because I made marks on tires to check if they did.They can't be trusted to take care of your car during checkups.They told me oh were sorry bring the car back and we will check the car.Why would I do that for another lie. read more

Took my 2012 Kai there to replace the engine in 2022 December. 2 year's later starts blowing smoke from tail pipe burning oil took it back said nothing was wrong with it. Today I took it back (it lost most all power). The hooked it up to test it said it was the spark plugs$500.00 said it was good to go picked it up made it maybe 5 blocks. Stopped in on 8/22 to look at Tellurides after being in contact with Tristan (a sales manager). We had a conversation with regards to pricing on the phone. I told him I hadn't planned on visiting this location because they were marking up the price on MSRP. He said he wasn't sure who told me that but to come down and take a look and we will make you a great deal. Well that great deal turned out to be a $4500 markup on top of MSRP on new Tellurides! They bragged that it was one of the lowest in the area. WOW. I brought up how on the phone there was no mention of this and was led to believe I could get a good deal if I came in. I emailed him and Lindsey McGrath. Lindsey has not responded and Tristan won't admit it was a total bait and switch and I was brought in under false pretenses. Look on their website at Telluride inventory...there is a reason it says Please Call when you check pricing. They won't mention it to you on the phone because they want to hide it until they get you in there but trust me they will try to screw you the same way they did me. read more

After researching many vehicles, I focused in the 2022 Kia Seltos as being the vehicle that had everything I wanted. Unfortunately, COVID being the gift that keeps on giving, no one had any new inventory at the surrounding Kia dealerships. I found myself on the McGrath website and it had several that said they were "on lot." I was excited to test drive and was prepared to purchase right away. I connected with Val Trussov, who told me that there was no new inventory and that the cars listed as "on lot," were actually in transit. I was disappointed but Val went into action. He told me that I could test drive an employee vehicle, 2021 Kia Seltos. I told him I was out of town for a week. I fully expected to be hounded everyday I was gone, but Val respected my time away and didn't contact me until a week later. (He won major points with that). My husband and I made an appointment and test drove the employee vehicle. Val had worked to find out for me why the vehicles were listed as "on lot" when they were in fact "in transit." Unfortunately, with COVID being the gift that keeps on giving, I was not able to order the colors I wanted because it would've been more months than I was willing to wait for a new a vehicle. 10 were expected to be delivered in the next month and 7 were already spoken for. There was one available with the trim package I wanted and my husband and I put a deposit down. Val did an excellent job of communicating weekly the timeline on the shipment and contacted me immediately once the car was delivered. We set up an appointment to pick up the vehicle and Val patiently provided information about the car and lead us through the process of purchase. He worked to assist with getting us a military/veteran discount and has only sent 2 follow up communications since! When I'm ready to purchase a vehicle, I generally have thoroughly researched and know what I want, I abhor pushy salespeople, Val Trussov was the perfect sales person for me to deal with. He let me set the tone for communications and what I wanted. He didn't bother me on my travel time and once the deal was made, he provided weekly communications that weren't overwhelming. Val Trussov was knowledgeable both about the vehicle and the process. He worked hard to get what my husband and I wanted (within the limitations of CoVid) and we are very happy with our 2022 Kia Seltos! I highly recommend purchasing a Kia and working with Val Trussov at McGrath Kia!! read more

The sales experience was terrific. I had to buy sight unseen and quickly. They handled it quite well, and other than the Covid-19 pricing being slightly higher than I might have gotten another time, I felt this was a fair transaction. However, their service after the sale is easily the worst I've ever experienced. I am having a relatively minor issue with my registration, caused by delays in mailing and responding to my home state's Motor Vehicle Bureau. I've tried to speak to McGrath Kia about it but have never received a single return phone call over a time period of over two weeks. Not one. Let me repeat. I have NOT received a single return phone call from anybody at McGrath Kia. Not even one call to say "this is all screwed up and we will try to fix it." I'll never do business with them again. I was a sales manager for 20 years. I'd fire every one of these people. read more

Had Dustin Hiller for a sales person. SIX hrs later drove home. However a week later they came and got my car for a paperwork error. They ran a commercial that said if you made $350 a week they can get you in a car. This is an outright lie. Then I called on the phone and they lied again. They said if our credit score was over 450 they could get us in a car. However my husband acquired his job through a temp staffing agency. Now I have no car, worst experience ever. read more

Wow. I had just purchased a Kia Sedona with less than 10K miles from a different dealer in Western Iowa. After starting out from western Iowa, and heading to the east coast, I was having problems with the windshield washer pump. Very frustrated, I pulled in at McGrath without an appointment, or knowing anyone there. I walked into the service department, told them my problem, and in less than 5 minutes our minivan was up on the hoist, and getting the bad fluid drained out, and new installed. Less than 20 minutes after I pulled in, the fluid was changed, they washed the minivan, and told me to get out of there without any payment being due. I wanted to thank them for the GREAT service they performed that day! read more

If I could do zero stars I would. 3 days after we bought 2 cars... 1. 2017 Kia forte and 2015 Chrystler 200 we tried to take them back. We were lied too about our registration fees, warranty prices. I had to bring one of our cars in for a recall 2 times because they didn't fix it the first time. There was a sensor that broke on the front grill that was causing the check engine light to come on. When I brought it back in for them to fix they put a hole in my car. They refused to fix it and I had to threaten to sue them before the fixed it. My wife took her car in for an oil change service that came with her car. During the oil change they rotated the tires. A day after they did that there was an air leak in one of the tires. The leak was coming from the rim and not the tire. It is covered under warranty. After it was towed in McGrath service told me it was a pin hole leak and can't fix it then told my wife it was 3-4 inch gash. I tried to get it straightened out only to be yelled at and belittled by both Steve from service and Lindsey McGrath. I told Lindsey of all the issues we have had up to this point and she didn't care I then said fine if that's how you treat people then we won't by anymore cars from you. Lindsey McGrath said and I quote "if you feel that way then we don't want your business " do now we have to pay 125 plus dollars to get a new tire. I never thought we would be treated like less than human beings especially from Lindsey McGrath. read more
