I saw this restaurant is recently under new ownership and the owner seems very involved so hopefully he'll take this constructive criticism and make some changes. I've never had any issues at this location until last night (10/17/24). We went on our way home from Howl-O-Scream, so it was late (around 11:15pm). The cars in both lanes ahead of me ordered and moved ahead but no one ever came over the speaker. I drove around and went in the other lane and our order was taken. I knew something was wrong when all 3 cars ahead of me were asked to go park in a reserved spot. Waited at the window for almost 10 minutes, while employees walked back and forth, and was not acknowledged until finally a guy poked his head out but only to yell at another employee with what reserved number to deliver the food to. They were taking payment and food delivery at window 2 and since no one acknowledged us we never got to pay so we just ended up leaving. read more

I ordered the Minecraft meal and my father got a 10 piece nugget separately. The first thing they messed up on is that they didn't give us our spicy buffalo sauce, the fries were soggy and cold, the burger was also cold, I did get a pineapple mango smoothie as well, which taste tart and is not a smoothie at all. But I did also realize that they threw two straws in so I can tell they were rushing. The only thing good about the meal that I ordered is the toy honestly. They can approve on is taking their time. The lady asked for my app number. I gave it out loud but didn't get a response. So I waited about a minute and a half before I started saying hello to see if there was something wrong. She gave me attitude, saying in a nasty voice to give her a minute. If she had told me this originally, it would not have been a big deal, but instead, she gave me attitude. The food is generally ok, not great but ok. It's your average McDonalds with a little bit of a twist. The staff don't generally listen to the customer when they order a meal with custom instructions such as no cheese or no sauce. The bagel in particular is difficult to get made correctly and without making and effort to check it before bringing it home you can end up with some of the following things instead which I personally have received. For context I generally order a plain sausage no egg bagel. I have on multiple occasions received a bagel with egg. I have also been given a bagel with two strips of bacon and cheese with not even a sausage. I have also been given a bagel with sausage, no cheese and a tomato. There has been no difference between other McDonald's restaurants as they have messes up the bagel in 18 different ways throughout the restaurants. I don't go inside normally but my experience with going inside has been the same. read more

Deceiving menu. $3 item rings up as $3.39. X's 2, with tax, that's basically another $1 added to the bill. The $.39 is so small on the digital rotating menu, that you can't readily make it out from the kiosk. The big print says it's the $1,$2,$3 menu, when in fact, it is not. Basic integrity is apparently not among the existing tenets of the current McDonald's Corporation. Besides that, I forgot to ask for my food to be made fresh, and it was not made fresh. The patties were pulled from a drawer and by the time I made my self serve soft drinks and took them outside, the fries were unacceptably cold. I don't normally eat fries, but when I do, I want it to count, so to speak. You would think that the cups would be handed over the counter immediately after the financial transaction is completed, but alas, this was not the case. Poor kid behind the counter, too busy focusing on the other things he has to do in between orders to focus on the customer, or even what is going on. I had to direct him away from the McCafé pastry display over to the register to take my order. He didn't even realize he wasn't at the register. So some genius at this location (or maybe all locations) decided that the customer should be the one to assemble their oatmeal while driving down the road. I can only assume the 10 seconds it took the staff to drop apples and cranberries in the cup was too burdensome on the process. So now I'm stuck trying to do this shit on my lap... Secondly, is it just me.. or is my oatmeal like half full? Look at the shadow on the side of the cup, that's like halfway up the side. Maybe 2/3 once the other ingredients are added.... maybe. The only reason I'm giving this location 2 stars is bc the staff are super nice and helpful. That kinda balances out the rest. Good Bye McDonalds. We are tired of paying for drinks we can't drink. Unsweetened tea is tea without sugar. We don't like sweet tea, nor can we tolerate sugar. This place always messes up orders. Constantly missing stuff. It's got to be the management. They're supposed to be training these kids. I don't put it on them, just young and need to rely on managers. One time I ordered a pancake breakfast for my girl. It's usually wrong, but this was the worst. I said no biscuit and add extra bacon. They gave me a sausage and English muffin. No silverware. No syrup. I told them. They then fixed by giving me a biscuit and syrup. No bacon still. We only went in to what was once a brilliant star in this community, for ice cream treats and won't return any time soon! The staff were LOUD, while talking back and forth among themselves; the customer area had dirty tables and litter all over; the kitchen looked filthy from the counter area, we waited five minutes for anyone to come forward and remember they HADN'T given us three spoons to go with our three sundaes, which were melting in our hands, and we waited ten minutes, calling to anyone who might get us a glass for water from the soda fountain. One staff member walked past us and said 'not on the clock' (although she did tell the head employee that we needed a glass - to which said 'supervisor' told her she was busy and there was only her back there and she'd get to us when she had a second). Five minutes later we left the counter, (without a glass), and went to collect our other group members to leave when a new CUSTOMER came to us with a glass she had requested before she had ordered her food! REALLY!!?!? Good LORD, people! Get your act together. High school students were asleep in the benches at the back of the store; one kid was higher than a kite- eating his meal with friends and vegging after school. My dining experience was absolutely delectable! I ordered a large 10pc McNuggets meal with a Diet Coke (no ice) and they got everything right! The chicken was perfectly tender and it tasted heavenly. The focus is obviously on the drive thru customer. That doesn't mean the order is right or in a timely manner, it just means that's where all their attention is. If you get your food in a timely manner and if it is correct ,it is overshadowed by the lack of customer service or even care that you are here. If you try to eat inside the restaurant, you will stand at the counter for at least 5 minutes before they acknowledge you. Once they take the order, you get it in pieces and that process takes another 10 minutes or more. Usually something is left out or incorrect. Convenient for Winter Springs residents. Located at the cross section of SR 434 and Tuskawilla Blvd, this McDonald's serves as a convenient pit stop when entering and exiting the 417 tollway. I've always had a good experience here. My order is always correct, and the staff always seems happy. I'm not sure why the other reviewers had such bad experiences. I've always found the customer service here to be good and the staff to help out if you have any issues. read more

Well darn. I wrote a review a good while back bragging on how this local Winter Springs McDonalds was way better than the rest. But the past few months it seems something has changed. What? No clue, but the service, accuracy of the food, and condition of the restaurant have all deteriorated quite a bit. It used to be an incorrect order was rare, now a correct order is rare. It used to be the folks who take your order were friendly and seemed to care, now they seem to feel you're lucky that they're there to take your order. Such a shame. This was the best McDonald's location ever, and though McD's food isn't anything to write home about, the great order accuracy and friendly staff got me in the door. Now, I'm going less and less. Basically unless my kids HAVE to get McDonalds, I probably won't go there much at all, if ever anymore. Such a shame! read more

Why did I need to wait 20 minutes for 2 kids meal? 1 cheeseburger ketchup only and a 4 piece McNugget meal plus a 4 piece buttermilk tender meal.
