I asked if that was the one he sent with the order, he said yes. I told him I was looking at it, and it said footlong and a 6". He just sat there and said nothing, for several minutes. I said, well?? His reply. I made what was on the ticket. The next day I went into the store with the email, and the receipt. Told them repeatedly, I wasn't looking for anything free, but, also did not want to pay for something I did not get. No customer service at all. Shame on the manager that you do not follow up on a legit issue. All I wanted is compensation for only getting 2- 6" sandwiches, but paid for a 6" and a 12". Maaz's Chicken serves up fried chicken, sandwiches, gyros, burgers, rice platters, fried seafood, appetizers, salads, desserts, and cooler drinks (Pepsi products/Gatorade). The prices here seem reasonable. I stopped by Maaz's Chicken for lunch and dinner on Grand Opening Day when they were giving out free lunch (selected items) and 50 percent off the menu all day. The place was very busy with a line out the door. The owner had a DJ playing music near the entrance and chatting with customers. The owner is from Rhode Island and actually works across the border in Mass. The owner was looking for a place to open a chicken restaurant and chose Franklin, NH since it's a good area, bypassing Franklin, MA (for now) much closer to Bellingham, MA and Rhode Island. The lunch line was very busy and I eventually got up to the counter and ordered the Chicken Sandwich and 2 pc Fried Chicken with Fries and can of Diet Pepsi and strawberry Hood Ice Cream for dessert, all complementary for lunch. The chicken sandwich was big with a thick breaded buffalo tender with lettuce & mayo, pretty good. The shoestring fries were decent and the fried chicken had a nice crispy salty coating on the outside. I decided I would return later for dinner takeout. I returned for dinner takeout several hours later and the place was getting slammed with the line almost to the door. I ordered a bunch of food including a Beef Gyro ($8.99 plus tax), 6 Mozzarella Sticks ($6.25 plus tax), Chicken Over Rice Platter ($10.99 plus tax) and a 2 Pc Tilapia with Fries & Slaw ($11.99 plus tax). With the Grand Opening Discount, my total with tax was $20.83. After ordering, there was another line of customers waiting to pick up their food after paying. I waited about 16 minutes for my big order to be all set. They did run out of cole slaw and let me substitute Banana Pudding which is normally the same price as cole slaw ($2.99 plus tax). I checked my order before leaving and everything was there. I enjoyed my big dinner back at the office and the portions of food were generous. The Chicken Over Rice Platter was excellent, which had firm seasoned rice topped with marinated hot chicken pieces, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, white sauce. The Beef Gyro was overflowing with beef gyro meat, lettuce, tomato, red onions, and a house dressing in a soft warm thick wrap. The Mozzarella Sticks were standard and came with marinara dipping sauce. The 2 Pc Tilapia with Fries was comprised of 2 good size fried tilapia filets with a seasoned breading and a pile of shoestring fries, tartar sauce was provided too. The Banana Pudding was sweet and topped with Nilla Wafer cookies. Overall, I was able to try a variety of foods here at Maaz's Chicken including the grand opening lunch and discounted dinner food. The fried chicken though crispy outside was very salty and dry, probably due to the volume of customers ordering the same thing. The fries at lunch time were not very hot (staff trying to serve the masses at lunch) and the fries I got with my tilapia dinner were hot and firm. The Chicken Over Rice Platter and Beef Gyro were excellent and my favorites of the day. This rating is based on the dinner takeout (4.5/5.0) and not on the grand opening lunch.

Every time I've been here the attendants have been friendly and efficient. Yes, a few times, especially during busy times, the product may slightly suffer in its preparation and it's attributable to the employee scarcity in the region, having to employ and trained younger people quickly and therefore may have been not properly trained. That's a situation in most of the Kearsarge/Lake Sunapee area restaurants. Still, I have never had an unpleasant experience here. You treat employees nicely, they will be nice to you in return. The quality of the food is always high, the bread freshly baked, the drinks large. Ambiance-wise it varies, oftentimes I'm the only customer, other times I've walked in and there's a line out the door and a few entitled people clamoring why their order isn't ready in twenty seconds while there are ten people in front of them. Most often, people here want to get their food and go. Good food, good service and very clean.

Confit duck wings appetizer (special) - good texture and flavor, came with 7 pieces, the accompanying ?jam was interesting but was too thick to dip wings in and had to be eaten separately with a fork, was tasty though so would recommend Cod fish tacos - the rub on the tacos was overly salty but it was perfectly cooked and the rest of the taco elements were very tasty and overall was balanced apart from the overly salty fish. Hot honey fried chicken sandwich - Had just a bite of my partner's and it was a good bite although the chicken was a bit tough Value - 1 app, 2 entrees, and 1 beer came out to ~$66, portions were just right Overall had a decent dining experience but the off-putting smell and just okay food doesn't make us want to come back.

FINALLY! Real Texas BBQ outside of San Antonio and Austin!…read more I knew from my very first sip of sweet tea that this place was going to nail it! And right out front, they proudly display their TWO smokers! Now that's respect for the increasingly lost art of real barbecue smoking! I ordered the Hickory Sausage, Brisket, Potato Salad, and Cornbread. The Brisket: Top-notch! Beautiful texture, incredible smoke flavor, and that delicious bark on top! You know brisket is done right when the smoky flavor travels right up the back of your nose as you chew. That's REAL BBQ! The Hickory Sausage: Every bit as impressive. Perfectly smoked, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The Potato Salad: Tasty, beautifully balanced, and the perfect complement to all that smoky meat. THE CORNBREAD! Finally, cornbread in Newh England that's actually PROUD TO BE CORNBREAD! Too many places up here make what amounts to a flour cake with a smidgen of cornmeal thrown in. Not here! Perfect texture, wonderful density, and that unmistakable CORN flavor. Outstanding! Our other plate featured Pork Belly and Pulled Pork. Again, beautifully smoked, tender, and full of flavor. The baked beans were terrific, and so was the coleslaw! Having lived in Texas and enjoyed some of the finest barbecue in San Antonio and Austin, I know what great Texas BBQ should taste like.
