im really sorry to have to write this review, but i am absolutely livid and i don't know who else to tell. i love this mcdonalds, it's one of the best in the entire city of los angeles, but i went tonight, after a long weekend of trying to resist my favorite mcdonalds. i went and ordered off the deal menu, got a mcdouble and spicy mckichen for 3.99 a medium coca cola, and small fries, i asked for ketchup and sauce and my receipt at the window-(an internet 'hack' for making sure you get all your items; apparently ) after i placed my order the drive thru speaker person elegantly responded with a 'yuh' or 'ung' i guess that's what the mcdonalds customer service handbook is preaching nowadays, grunts and borderline syllable sounds. anyway. .i drove to the window and waited, nevermind the long wait time, or that i had a inkling to drive off and leave. i got to the window, i asked if it was too late to upgrade to a large cola and large fries, i was happily obliged. i asked the guy to 'please make sure i have ketchup' and i watched. him take my bag, and give it directly to me. i drove a inch up. i paused, i looked in the bag, no ketchup. i put my head out the window i said ' i ...[genuinely stuttering ] ... i asked for ketchup.' the guy looked back at me with wideshot horrified eyes and i. i was in such disbelief, that i- not knowing what to do- and just accepting my defeat at the whole situation- i just drove off, not wanting to go inside and ask for it, not wanting to cause any semblance of an issue. but here i am at home, mcdonalds food rotting in the car- and i'm smashing this keyboard-absolutely livid! how does someone forget ketchup? after i ask for it, twice. i'm so livid i feel foolish. how does someone forget ketchup when i point blank asked you for it. not even a single packet of ketchup. took the bag and handed it to me without even looking at me. i don't know how else to communicate. i guess competency is hard to find. it's just ketchup people. two burgers. large fries. not a single packet of ketchup. how many people do they do dirty like this on the daily. a single. packet. of ketchup. maybe you guys should charge 3.19 for a packet. at least i know i'd get one. read more

Never do I leave a review but the Hispanic lady in the window with an accent was so rude. I asked her for syrup and she said syrup ???? You only eat that with pancakes. I ordered a sausage McGriddle and everyone has their own preferences. I just found that opinion so uncalled for. I had also asked her for ketchup the first time around she was so rude and didn't say a thing and gave me mexican salsa instead of ketchup. I lost my appetite with this experience. read more

I give the food's taste about 4 out of 5 stars, but the Fries can be too salty. I'm not really into the Big Mac, I always get the Double Quarter Pounder because that tastes better. Speaking of "Double Quarter Pounder" that name is too long! The reason i'm giving this place 2 out of 5 stars, even though I really like the DQ Pounder is because the meal portions are really small, McDonald's is a cheap rip-off that charges you like $8 to $10 for just one tiny burger, only a little bit of fries and a tiny little cup of soda to go with it. I could just go to Denny's and get a cheeseburger that's 3 times bigger with 3 times more fries just for almost the same price. The Deluxe Breakfast is at least somewhat acceptable but it isn't perfect. The sausage, the hotcakes, the syrup, the hash brown are fine, but the eggs don't taste like anything and the bacon is real tiny because it's burnt to a crisp. read more

By far the worst McDonald's anyone can ever go to. Coming from an employee that actually used to work there :). Management is very poor there. One manager Priscilla was by far the worst, picks on new employees just because they don't speak Spanish as fluent as her. She's rude to customer and coworkers. Most cooks are friends with her to sometime they're just chatting it up. Me trying to help customers the way they wanted to do it and since she wouldn't do her own job I wanted to make customers happy it was my first job but I would get in trouble for it. If u ever complain to ever her boss they won't do anything about it or even hr. I have heard many people that have worked there left based off of this and poor management. As a plus: This location was recently remodeled and it looks really nice, so there's that. But... I got in there, made my order for a Shamrock Shake, paid for it on the kiosk... only to have someone come out and tell me "no ice cream." AFTER I'd paid. He pointed to the main menu screen that had ice cream products "sold out," but of course I didn't see that as I was forced to pay at the kiosk because no one was manning the front, but he talked to me like I was stupid for not seeing that. He refunded my money but my heart was set. All in all it was a good thing because I ended up at a different location that was CONSIDERABLY more reasonably priced (I'm talking more than 1/3 cheaper) so I got my Shamrock Shake AND a burger for the price just the shake would have cost. Still was super annoying and sad. Not just giving 1 star though because yes, the location looked nice. But please, don't pretend ice cream products are "sold out" when the truth is no one who was there wanted to clean the machine tonight. read more

The most screwed up organization I have ever visited. After my first visit figured it may just be a bad day, feel sorry that I had to return the following week to see the exact same chaos. The manager should get fired, store owner can easily triple the revenue by having a capable store manager. Place is dirty with no presence of customer service. This particular McDonald's location is something else. I understand that it's in Tujunga, but some of the people who go in this place creep me out - and also spoils the McDonald's experience. Mind my French, but I have seen 'bums' enter this place with their OWN cup and go to the soda fountain, and the employees did not even say anything!! That is plain old disgusting. I have had bones in my chicken burgers at this location yet the manager has ignored my calls and emails! That to me is not just rude but very deceiving. The food overall tastes the same, heck, McDonald's tastes the same in Europe as it does in America, but it's the service that really matters to us customers, for we are the one's who keeps their business alive. Ok, so... while the interior of this particular McD's is actually quite nice (hence the 2nd star), the wifi still blows, and the McNugget sauce situation... My God. Allow me to present you with a McMath challenge: If a 10-piece box of DRY-ASS chicken nuggets comes with 2 sauces, how many sauces should a 20-piece come with? If you guessed 4, you're wrong. According to their McMath, the correct answer is 3. Yep, they even have (or had) this rule posted on a sign on the wall just inside the drive-thru window. If you craned your neck, you could see it--right there on the wall, the McRule on how to screw the customer out of ONE lousy sauce container for every 20-piece order! So basically, if you order a 20, you're downing 5 nuggets dry. Good times. "But wait!" you think. "That's ridiculous, I could just ASK for 4!" Well, sure, you could, but 9/10 times they won't give it to you in the drive-thru. If you go inside and make a big stink about it, sure, but really? Really, McDonalds? My solution is just to boycott McNuggets entirely--at least at this location (as I'm not sure if other locations follow the same McProtocol)--until someone in management learns their multiplication tables. This McDonald's is the worst. Every time I come here they never ever ever get my order right. By the time I get home and notice everything that's missing, I'm so frustrated. When I call them they just tell me I'm sorry. At this spot you can order from two different spots, but people that are taking your order are in two different spots and someone is always cutting in front of you. This place is just the worst. If it wasn't for the fact that my son loves eating at this freaking place, I wouldn't even go there. At least from my observation there is always about 300 employees overworked on the drive thru.... because the drive thru itself is always crowded to begin with. In the lobby area, there is nobody around to take your order regardless if there's one customer or an entire line of customers waiting. I must give credit to this tall old man running around trying his very best with the little help that he gets. I came to this location with my 18 month old today to have a bite while we were shopping. He's normally just fine in restaurants. That all changed today when he went into all-out tantrum mode when I said "no" to the playplace. We didn't even have our food yet and he was losing it. That's when a kind staff member (Targal - pronounced tar-gull) asked if she could wrap our food to go. She went above and beyond- she got my soda for me and even helped us out to the car because my hands were full with a spiraling toddler. Thank you. From the bottom of my heart. This is the worst McDonalds in the history of the company. First of all it's McDonalds, it's not a 5 star restaurant, I don't expect grade A food. How can you screw up McDonalds? I had a survey code for a free sandwich with purchase of a sandwich, meaning two sandwiches... I showed & gave the girl the survey code/receipt and stated I'd like two quarter pounders without cheese. she seemed confused at first but punched stuff into the computer. I stated I'd like the one dollar soda diet, please, a sugar free iced vanilla coffee and one large fry. The order came to $7.33 I thought darn the sandwiches must have gone down in price (their price board is hard to read as it changes screens). Got my order and drove away....got to our lunch destination (still no CA dining in-ridiculous) discovered we only got one sandwich...ok it was free only paying for the drinks and fries but darn, that was my lunch I gave the only sandwich to my elderly father.... Honestly, one of the worst McDonald's that I've ever been to. I know that since is the most unhealthy fast food, I should already know what I'm getting myself into, but this was just ridiculous.
