I used to come this McDonald's when my kids were young. A couple of weeks ago, we stopped by after a road trip and decided to place a mobile order. However, when we opened the order, we discovered that it was missing sides, toys, drinks, and other items. We had to return to the restaurant to rectify the situation. When we explained the missing items to the staff, they acknowledged the issue. Unfortunately, they informed us that the sides were not ready, the drink was still spinning, the toys were unavailable, and they couldn't provide a refund or a substitute. It was frustrating and disappointing to be left with nothing. After some back-and-forth, we managed to get a drink that became ready while we were arguing, but the World Cup Cup that we had ordered was simply forgotten. It was a clear case of negligence on their part, as they knowingly omitted the drink from the order. To make matters worse, there has been no response from customer support on the McDonald's app for over a week now. Both times I was surprised by the mess. Dirty tables, trash on floor, dirty floor in need of a mop, etc. I figured they had an early rush. The 3rd time I arrived right as the doors opened and saw the same mess. Even worse, the kids play area was filthy and the restroom was disgusting. I get to my curbside spot and after waiting 10 mins and seeing cars go through drive thru who arrived after I got there, I went inside to see what was taking so long. This is NOT your mom & dad's McDonald's! There's now touchscreen ordering & payment, self-serve drinks, food delivered to your table, high top tables and low tops too with stools for seating, a few of the traditional booths remain but none of the old school color scheme! Gone are the reds, yellows and bright oranges with a smiling Ronald McDonald and in with the neutral colored tile floors and turquoise/lime green "seats" (which are actually stools). It all looks pretty ugly to me. They've inexplicably kept a red wall behind the self-serve soft drinks that clashes badly with the overall neutral theme and a weird black and white wallpaper that looks like a chalkboard with pictures of menu items. Then there's that washed out pale orange wall with a photo of an old McD sign, "Over 1 million served..." Your favorite burgers & sandwiches are still here: Big Mac, Quarter Pounder & Filet O' Fish. There are many newer options as well and the prices have gone up significantly on the classics. Their drive through is quick & efficient and their business is probably booming since the other location a bit further west is being completely remodeled. Got in line at the dual drive thru right side. I was asked to wait. I did... She then serviced 4 other cars on the left side! Nuuuuuu~ I got a cheeseburger happy meal. The fries were sadly very terrible.... and I normally love McDonald's fries! Wahhhhh We then ordered 2 McRibs for $6. But the bread bun on the McRibs was the ones they normally use for cheeseburgers and not the advertised (through picture or website) homemade roll (more French bread baguette/sesame seeded style). I placed a promo order using the mobile app and waited for over 15 minutes at the curbside. While still waiting for my cheeseburger, I was even able to use another promo for fries. Yet, despite the ridiculous wait, my first order was still not ready, so I decided to drive through the pick-up lane instead. When I spoke to the manager about the issue, she was completely dismissive, saying an employee went out but "didn't see me." I explained I had been waiting there for more than 15 minutes, but instead of addressing the issue, she continued to blame me, insisting I wasn't there when someone supposedly brought the order out. My point is, I was there, waiting for 15 minutes, and no one came out. As a manager, instead of owning up to the delay and the failure to deliver, she shifted the blame to me. What's the point of using the mobile app if it results in wasted time, no accountability, and a complete lack of customer service? Absolutely unacceptable!
