My server was incredibly friendly and definitely added to my overall experience. Her name slips me, but she came to Troy from Wisconsin to play volleyball and attend college. I ended up going with one of their burgers with tater tots. The burger was very good, but the tater tots were pretty amazing. Even more amazing when my server said they were not made in house, but sourced. I really enjoyed my meal. It is not a big restaurant, but I e enjoyed my meal here and I would definitely recommend visiting here.

Kayla, unfortunately, is challenged to even be behind the bar long enough to take care of her customers. When we arrived, she wasn't at the bar. When she finally appeared, I don't know what had her attention, but it wasn't customers at the bar. She gave us water and was behind the bar busy doing nothing. After 20 minutes of watching her fumble around on the computer and meander around the bar, we got her attention to ask to order. She said one minute; she had to go take the order of some men who came in after us and weren't sitting at the bar, and give menus to more customers at the bar. When she came back behind the bar, she began making 3 drinks, one of which she had to Google. When the gentlemen got up to go to their table, she got pissed and put the drinks down. I told her she shouldn't have done that. She should have taken care of the people at the bar. She said they were at the bar before us. That's a lie. She wasn't even at the bar when we sat, and neither were the guys. They walked in after us. Instead of taking care of us, she gets pissed and walks away. She tells us she's not serving us and helps others at the bar. She said someone is going to help us because she won't be disrespected. Reality check--you disrespected every customer at that bar! Not only was she absent, uncoordinated but she had the audacity to continue to talk about the situation with staff and customers. Kayla actually got off easy to tonight because I could have made a much bigger deal about that. I want to thank Janelle for helping us and recovering from the disaster named Kayla!! Last, not sure if this is how the bar operates, but Kayla didn't make any drinks. The waitresses mostly made their own cocktails. She's never at the bar! When we first visited Troy, we were told about The Corner. This is our first experience and, unfortunately, our last.
