Tried to stop in for a quick meal on the way home. Failed. Because this is not fast food. They weren't particularly busy, but they were shortstaffed. The employees were working hard, and were friendly and professional, but just couldn't keep up. That's a management issue. We waited 20 minutes for our food (Happy Meal and chicken sandwich, nothing special.) I almost went up and asked how to cancel our order. Which brings up another issue: those damn kiosks. They really push them, and they suck. The touch screen was iffy. The menu is annoying. They keep pushing upgrades, some of which are ridiculous. E.g., the one that asked if I wanted to upgrade for 40 cents, and showed two pictures that looked exactly the same with zero explanation. Upgrade to what? Let's face it, I'm not a McDonald's fan anyway. The only reason I come is because we have a kid. Happy Meals are as addictive as heroin, apparently. I can always find something to eat, a burger or chicken sandwich, but I never come here willingly. When I come, it's to get something quickly. Didn't happen here. I got the deluxe chicken sandwich, and it was fine. Sustenance. Fries were lukewarm and had no salt, and the ONLY thing I kinda like at McDonald's is the fries, freshly cooked and salty. So, fail. Baby K liked her Happy Meal, and I do appreciate options like apple slices for her. We also got a limited time cheese Danish, and it was fine. Not great, but fine. They now offer an adult Happy Meal, and it is... nothing special and expensive. Pass. Maybe try one of the half-dozen other fast food places nearby. I am very disappointed to announce that your fellow worker Caleb is a very rude and an intrusive employee I had several questions about my order in the timing of the arrival I eventually did get my order however when it was received a small fry and mcchicken was missing I then asked your fellow employee Caleb about my order and he incompetently replied they said that you already got your order and then he stomped back into the kitchen after signing loudly and then made my fries. He then with fries and hand stomped back over to the counter and shoved it in my hands, and then proceeded to tell my husband I was a very rude person and told him that I grabbed it forcefully out of his hand. This cannot be farther from the truth... he says he prays for me. I think this is very disrespectful to my religion in my well-being and I think this is a very bad McDonald's experience I thought for getting paid for what they did which would be getting fries and handy to customers, they would be at least appreciate appreciative to be making money for the very little amount of work they do however, this is not true as it is shown with your fellow employee, Caleb... Staff was exceptionally friendly. Which leads me to an overly whelmed disappointment. The strips were shaped like nuggets, and cooked hard. I appreciated the 20% discount I got as a perk for using app. I appreciated earning loyalty points for using app. The app was a bit clunky and didn't do a good job in allowing me to customize my order. My server was friendly, my order came out quickly. The food tasted good but wasn't as hot as I prefer. Catsup dispenser had no catsup but I was given plenty of packets. Over all not a bad experience. I stopped in today because I had a craving for a Big Mac. I enjoyed it, though would have enjoyed it even more if I was able to customize it just the way I wanted AND if there wasn't the 40 cent charge for extra sauce. Worth noting it is nice to see the SAME employees that worked there BEFORE the PanEpidemic still working here! I live about 10 minutes from this McDonalds so naturally I frequent it. There has not been one single time where I have had an overall decent experience here, you either wait in the line for 30 minutes with absolutely nobody else in line, you don't get half your order, the employees have an attitude for no reason. ZERO STARS! Showed up here at 11:15 at night for a snack and a drink. Person ahead of me gets helped and then I proceeded to wait at the speaker for more than ten minutes, no one came on to offer any service so I drove around to the window and the overnight staff was arguing like a bunch of mindless two year olds. McDonald's may be garbage food with little nutritional value, but I nonetheless love it. I particularly love the Filet-o-Fish. It's probably mostly not fish, but what are you going to do about it? I ordered a #6 nugget meal large with a coke and an additional medium coke. They did not get the medium coke and refused to give it to me. If I could give this location no stars I would. Every single time I come to this location, the wait in line is 15+min even if they're not busy. The food is always cold and or stale. I was there yesterday, waited in line for 10 min. They took the order in front of me and next to me then when it came time for me to order, they said "we are shut down temporarily for an hour". We weren't lovin' this place during our visit today! The Golden Arches get a double frown from us. To start off, we aren't sure what we did to piss off the order taker but she was either having a bad day or fresh off death row. We had to repeat multiple parts of our order and it was neither confirmed nor was it friendly. We were quickly given a total and told to pull up. We paid and were given a very sarcastic "have a nice day" as if this was a major inconvenience to her. Arriving at the second window, we were ignored for over 3 minutes before our order was practically thrown at us. We then discovered that we were not given straws for the drinks or spoons for the oatmeal. We attempted to discuss our experience with the manager who not only yelled at her employees but didn't seem to care one iota about what we're saying and was simply patronizing us and nodding along. Apparently there was a movie playing behind us, as all of the employees gathered around the window to hear our complaint. We finally just gave up, accepted our fate and headed home.
