Stopped by on the way to the Gilroy Gardens and waited 20 minutes for a cup of coffee. It took over ten minutes to take our order while 5 employees carried on a very social discussion. They looked over at us a couple of times and then finally stopped and took our order. They they took another 10 minutes to get a cup of coffee. Worst Mc Donald's experience ever. read more

Food was fine but they couldn't print receipts? I coulfn't log the order into the app for rewards.

Stopped while traveling since they were so close to 101. Very nice and quick with delivering our order. Bathroom was neat too. read more

Ordered a McChicken and fries and ended up with severe stomach pain and vomiting. Surprised to be charged $2 for cups of water. Two stars instead of one because I am thankful the employees were patient and willing to give a refund for the waters right away. The cashier also seemed very kind and professional. read more

I went through the drive through and got home to find my order was wrong. When I called the restaurant, the woman who answered was rude. I don't go to McDonald's often, but this one time I did, it was not a good experience. read more

It was McDonald's, exactly what I needed on my way at the time. The food and coffee was great and I was well pleased.

This McDonald's should get zero stars. We have never had an issue changing a kids meal drink to a large drink. And they don't do any refills. This McDonald's is ridiculous and the customer service sucks. read more

Literally the greasiest burger I've had a long time.. The girl working the register was super impatient and kept asking me what "what" every time I talked... read more

The intercom girl who was named melanie i think also the register lady was rude to my asian friends and I. I dont know if this has to do with covid and the discrimatory prejudices against all asians, but we were all wearing a mask and she was rushing us ordering. AND THEN she rolled her eyes when we pulled up to pay. I called the manager and she said she would just talk to her. if i could give them zeros stars i would. read more

So somebody today brought me a butter crispy hamburger to my home, and I was confused as to why the hamburger was so small in its wrapping (if it is even suppose to come in one and not a box). I open the wrapping and wonder if this was even the correct order (it was). I look at the hamburger; no lettuce, no tomato, too much mayonnaise. Literally who even forgets to put in lettuce and tomatoes in a burger!? It is literally the worst hamburger I've seen! I hope McDonald's pick up their game because they are always messing up orders in Soledad. By far, this being the worst. Don't buy here and if you do, check your orders. This is completely unacceptable. read more

McDonald's - Fast Food Near Me - Soledad, California

They get one star because the sweet tea was good. After paying for my food and checking my receipt, I realized he didn't place my drink order. I Informed the drive thru lady, and she got a super big attitude about how I didn't order a meal...no hun I did not order a meal, I ordered it separately which is why he must of missed it. I asked for the manager and she was just as useless and had attitude just like the drive thru lady. I've worked in fast food before, and I've worked in general at several customer service places- if you mess up , you fix it!!! Not refuse to help the customer with the issue. TERRIBLE customer service. read more

This McDonald's is always out of everything. They either out of shakes or coffee or in today's case certain breakfast sandwiches... The closest McDonald's second to this one is five miles away and are always stocked.. It almost seems like the employees are just too lazy to make the food so they would rather tell you they are out. I don't eat fast food but my kids do and its always McDonald's what they want, unfortunately I have to drive out of town to get the food because the McDonald's in my town Sucks!!!! read more

I've left a review on this place a few years ago and sadly it hasn't changed. If you go to Gonzales or Greenfield you'll find teenagers working there the same as Soledad. However the service is much faster and efficient at the other two stores. So it has to be a managerial issue. After waiting 15 minutes in the drive thru all I saw were three kids giggling with each other and asking me what my order was. I already told them 15 minutes ago. By the time I get my food....fries are cold and the ice is melted in the drink. The sandwich looks like someone sat on it. This place needs some serious work on motivation and efficiency of staff and putting out a product worth paying the prices they are asking now to pay for their overpriced staff. Looking at the managers they look tired and checked out. The staff couldn't care less. If I wanted to wait 15 minutes for food I would have gone to Dennys. Won't be coming back to this place again. What a waste of time. read more

The world can do without McDonalds. What a disgrace. Workers were nice. But it's Mc Donald's after all.

This McDonald was close to where I was straying. They were open at 5;30am; I was able to start my days adventure with a large diet coke. I do appreciate that they are only $1.00 read more

I cannot stand this place. Stopped here for a milkshake... that's all I wanted... One small vanilla milkshake to enjoy on my road trip back home. I pulled into the drive through... and literally waited 53 min. Now you might wonder... why did I wait so long? I was stuck. There were too many cars in front of me... and too many cars behind me. It was late at night, and nobody was moving. When I asked for an explanation when I got to the window... The girl working just said sorry. And walked away. I will never stop here again. read more

I have been too many bad McDonald's and lived to yelp about it, but this one almost finished me off. Stopped off in the very early morning to grab an ice coffee and something to keep me awake for the final two hours on my drive home... Ask for 2 pumpkin and cream pies, all out oh, dang! Ask for two apple pies, all out, what? Ask for 4 chocolate chip cookies, all out, wtf? At that point, I just asked the lady what I should order because they were out of things that I actually wanted to buy to eat. I ended up with 4 oatmeal cookies... ... and the most watered down, flavorless iced coffee I have ever had a McDonald's. I have had a lot of interesting experiences at different McDonald's, but this is by far the worst I have ever had in my existence. read more

Pleasant atmosphere and design. Food is typical McDonald's affair, but the service was exceptional. My autistic 10 year old daughter walks in wearing a Captain America costume. The staff thought it was adorable and presented her with a free cookie because they liked it so much. This absolutely made her day. To me this was the epitome of customer service, and I will gladly take our family back to this location when we come back through town again. read more

TERRIBLE. My food was cold and when I asked my drink with no ice the gentleman got mad at me and dumped it out and then took 10 minutes just to get me a new drink read more

It's mc Donald's, what more can you really say? I don't expect a lot when I come to one, and I normally don't get great service when I come. I guess that's to be expected when you come to a mc Donald's. These poor kids have to deal with some real winners everyday, and I can't really blame them for having less than great attitudes. This location is normally really good about getting me my order quick. The drive thru is normally a mele of sorts, especially in the morning. I have nothing negative to say about this place though. read more

Clean, modern McDonalds, we loved the interior décor. The bathrooms were spotless.

Like many people we were on a road trip through Soledad when we started looking for a drive through for breakfast. We spotted the Golden Arches from the highway and settled on the idea of breakfast combos and McMuffins. We chose McDonalds because we were pressed for time and drive thru was our only option. Unfortunately it did not occur to the staff at this location to put a sign at the drive thru that the card reader was down = cash only. It obviously did not just happen since they did have a typed sign up on the pickup window. The consequence of this is we got to wait in line behind several other cars but were unable to order after being informed of the situation at the order speaker. It would have been a minor irritation except the cashier was unapologetic. Fast food turned into a time waster because no one cared. Thanks for the lack of hospitality Soledad McD's read more

worst McD food I've ever had, and I've tried ones in Thailand and Singapore... look, I know it's fast food, I know it's McD... but my burgers were obviously left out under a heat lamp or something, just cardboard bun and dry meat... BOTH burgers were bad, and my wife's chicken sandwich was also terrible. Food was Bad enough for me to remember it from last Saturday, come here and spend this time writing. we were passing thru, in a hurry, my kid wanted a shake, decided to grab stuff for all of us. REALLY bad food. QC failure. the fries were good... shakes too... but the rest was like eating 2 day old burgers left out... read more

Worst Mcdonalds ever. Don't even bother after midnight. Employees sit inside and laugh at people waiting in the drive through. Go elsewhere.

Convenient location near the Hwy 101, but this is a very slow McDonald's. There were at least 6 people working behind the counter and in the back cooking area, but our 5 plain hamburgers still took about 10 minutes to prepare. And the french fry machine was beeping on and on for about 2 or 3 minutes straight, really annoying and makes you think nobody is paying attention. Cashier didn't know how to count back change, just put it in a big pile and handed it to me. Seems training is lacking at this location. read more

Sometimes the food leaves something to be desired. But today was the exception. Needing a quick fix and craving a Filet O Fish, I went to the McDonalds in Soledad; a decision I would not later regret. Hands down, the best Filet O Fish and Chicken Nuggets I have had in a long time. The Filet O Fish was moist, warm, and had the perfect crunch. The bread was soft and light as it should be. To top it off, a surprise of warm chocolate chip cookies was included in the bag. Thank you McD's for making this experience a great one! read more

Seriously one of the slowest McDonald's I've ever been to. 20+ minutes in the drive thru. I could have driven to the next town and gotten food faster. No apologies for being slow on service. No making sure my order was correct. Forgot any sort of dipping sauces. They would have forgotten the chocolate milk for my sons happy meal had I not pointed it out and said that's mine as well. No apologies at all for the poor service. Just unacceptable. read more

absolutely horrible service! at least half of my order was wrong. spots reserved for curbside were occupied by people inside. i had to get out and it was as if the staff now expected me to wait and take my order out to the car only after i answered a quiz on what my large order was. i wish i had 2 more arms just so i could give it 4 thumbs down! yes i actually wish a physical deformity just so i can leave a worse review... I guess you can't eat at McDonald's at night I'm on the Monterey County 101 Corredor. Our showing on the website said they closed at 1:00 AM, came by at 12:30 and it was closed like all the ones in Salinas south. Based on the reviews, we probably dodged a bullet in anyway read more

The wait is ridiculously long here!! It's so frustrating. Drive thru isn't any faster than going inside either... Sigh

I've been to many McDonalds before, and let me just say, the McDonalds at Soledad has got to be my favorite one. They really know how to satisfy someone's cravings and to top it off, they are always welcoming and genuinely happy workers. I'd like to specifically point out the young man who took my order, his name was also ironically "Aldo", and he was really nice and charming. He was definitely the highlight of my visit to McDonalds, and I strongly believe he deserves nothing but the best and a raise. read more
