Caniac Combo (6 piece chicken tenders, fries, toast, coleslaw, and sauce) + napkins
Merlissa A.

I have been waiting for Raising Cane's to open in the Salinas area, and happy to say that on opening day it did not disappoint! I knew that there was a loong line during the day so my brother and I decided to go during the later evening. Drive thru was busy- but if you go inside.. we didn't have to wait at all and food came out faast! (That's why it's called fast food lol) Anyone who knows me, knows that I recently discovered and am a big fan of Raising Canes. My top picks? Obviously the chicken tenders, fries and sauce.. but don't skip out on that toast! The toast is A1. The chicken tenders were juicy and plump! Omg- and dipped in sauce.. get in there! Lol Customer service was 100% . The workers quickly attended to us and even spelled my name right haha. Overall, I'm giving Salinas' Raising Canes my extra 5 star optimistic review!

Went through the drive through for a quick meal. Ordered the four strip meal with coleslaw and fries and Texas toast. I always ask for the fries to be crispy otherwise I feel they are undercooked. (Personal preference). The chicken was moist and breaded lightly accompanied with Canes special dipping sauce. The fries were a tad salty. The coleslaw was fresh. The drive through was very quick and the staff was friendly and attentive. Love Canes and go at least once a week.

Does this look like NO toast and EXTRA slaw??

The food is good but I got door dash and it was not what I ordered...maybe better to go inside to make sure it's correct...

We go to Raising Cane's in Texas now we don't have to travel that far. Went there for lunch. Since they are still in the grand opening phase there was plenty of help and the order came out quickly and hot. The chicken fingers had a good breading on them and fried well and the fries were cooked just right. There is seating indoors and outside. With the place being kept very clean. They offer sweet and unsweetened ice tea. The employees and the manager were all very nice and helpful. Now we just need a Whataburger out here.

Drive thru Sunday around 11:00 am. Chicken was crispy but lacked flavor. The canes sauce is just ok. The honey mustard sauce is watery like soup. The sauces were not labeled. The fries were crunchy but needed flavor. Asked for ketchup but wasn't in the bag. The coleslaw was crunchy but nothing special. The bread was a bit mushy. The coke didn't taste like coke. The 4 piece "fingers" combo $15.09. The drive thru is crazy. The car next to us was handed the wrong order and got to keep the order that wasn't theirs plus their order. The girl working the drive thru had to squeeze between the building and our truck in order to hand us the bag of food and two drinks. We sat in the parking lot sampling our meal watching cars come into the drive thru line and cars leaving the drive thru. There is going to be backed up traffic in that area as there is not enough space for the coming and going. Bad planning on those logistics. Then the guy taking out the trash has to cross traffic in order to reach the trash bins. Drivers BE AWARE! Unfortunately I see accidents in the near future. Drivers be aware and avoid problems when going to Canes Not organized at all in the parking lot / drive thru / trash bins area. I won't return. I'll stay with chick-filet!

The service was fantastic and very smooth. The food was quickly delivered. However, I found my tenders were not quite hot enough compared to other locations. I know the kitchen was busy and I appreciated how much effort they put in, but I prefer my chicken a little bit warmer. Other than that, everything was good. My fruit cup was delicious and fresh. It had a lot of various fruits. The staff was friendly, especially the cashier who assisted us in placing the order. He is very nice and made us feel very warm and welcome. By the way, after visiting three locations, it seems that the floral table decorations are different at each branch.

This guy was massively tall. I'm 5'10" and I felt like I was speaking to a cloud. The height wasn't the issue, though--it was the vibe. I tried to order a #1 Animal Style, and he just stared at me for a solid ten seconds before blinking. When he finally spoke, it was in super slow motion. I'm talking one... word... every... three... seconds. It felt like I was trapped in a glitchy Zoom call. When I asked if I could get chopped chilies, he let out this long, dramatic sigh, looked down at me like I was personally ruining his life, and mumbled, "We... have... those..." then just stood there. No typing, no movement, just vibes and altitude. The burger was still fire, because it's In-N-Out, but the service was a total "Double-Double" of awkward and rude. If you see a guy who looks like he could change a ceiling light without a ladder, maybe just use the drive-thru.

Road travel can be challenging enough, and being treated like only a number isn't satisfying. Dear Hubby and I stopped by on a Friday evening during the long drive from Southern California to the Bay Area. He was hungrier than I was, and I struggled to find something on the lighter side that was still tasty. I had decided on the albacore tuna sandwich and splitting a side of onion rings with DH. Then the drama with the kiosk ordering system began. Onion rings weren't coming up as a choice at all. The kitchen staff (including whoever was suppose to be available to run the regular register in case someone wants to pay with cash or has questions) were all busy, busy doing their things. Their backs were to their customers, which became annoying and rude. I DID have questions, and the kiosk wasn't allowing me to order what I wanted to order. I ended up telling DH what I wanted and gave up to go to the car as I'd forgotten something in there. When I came back he was waiting to fill up our drink cups. He gave me the table number card and I found a table. He said that he did get to speak with a human after all after I'd gone outside. Surprise, surprise! When the food came, my sandwich, while tasty, was super sloppy with too much sauce. I had a hard time eating it without risking wearing part of the 'wich on my clothes. It was an unsatisfying experience on many levels. I don't blame this store, per se - I realize that it's a decision foist on them by management up the food chain. I've always respected the Habit Burger chain, but that feeling took a big hit with the fiasco at the Salinas location. I didn't feel welcome or appreciated. Removing the human connection is a big mistake for any business that requires building customer loyalty. Saving a few bucks on a real worker by installing an ordering kiosk that's not smart is not good business, in my humble opinion. I would not plan to return to this location, and will not have Habit as a top choice for dining out any time soon at other locations.

Regular size seems more stable. Service is fast and speedy by Togo, and stay to eat. If you stay, it's well lit and very clean. Windows don't have smudges unless you put them there.
