Hands down the worst McDonald's situation ever. If you're going to show this much lack of respect for customers and the dining room itself, just close your doors forever. No one is going to miss this place. Litter covered, and I mean COVERED the floor. Straw wrappers, entire servings of fries, cup lids, receipts, you name it... half the dining room was blocked off, seemingly because no one wanted to put forth the effort to maintain it. The five available tables were all dirty with salt and used napkins. The accessible table was the only one available, probably because it sits smack in the middle of the room. Every single person has to walk past it from the door to the register. I got brushed on the back of the head when some young noisemaker went back for his fourth refill. Most of the patrons were making themselves feel important by talking at the top of their lungs about mfers and such. Not the most welcoming atmosphere, but I'm the tourist here. Clearly. I had a cheeseburger on one of the stalest rolls ever left way too long on the shelf. Not really the kind of place you go back to complain and ask for them to remake it. Some flirt at the counter asked repeatedly for his nuggets to be freshly dropped, apparently not something they do often. Jeremy ordered his usual smorgasbord of items, but didn't even finish his first burger because they got his special request toppings wrong and he said the ketchup ruined the whole thing. I decided to dine in for breakfast and ordered 2 Hotcakes and sausage and 2 sausage burritos and two LG sweet teas. I told them I was dinning in and she still put my food in a bag! Once I got my food out the bag I was missing my fork and knife, No straw for my drinks, no Butter for my Hotcakes and only 1 syrup! So when I went back up to ask for the stuff they forgot to give me she had an attitude! So then I ask for 1 extra Syrup and she charged me for it! Who eats 3 Hotcakes with 1 little Syrup ! And to charge me after forgetting all my other stuff is ridiculous! Horrible customer service! I will never go back to this McDonald's again! read more

If you are driving, this might not be the best McDonald's for your dining experience. I don't understand how a McDonald's that's located at a major intersection has a parking lot that can accommodate only 4 (maybe 5 cars). Once you enter the parking lot and realize that there is not place to park, there isn't even enough space to turn around without having to alternate between drive and reverse 6+ times. Also, you better hope that no one drives directly behind you because I don't even think that there is enough room for one car to leave as another one enters (even without having to make a 10-point turn). Ok so I understand that the employees cannot control the parking situation; however, they can control their attitudes. After ordering my breakfast combo, I politely asked for a small cup of ice for the coffee. In rude manner, the manager was like you have to pay extra for a cup of ice. She said it in a way like I was supposed to know this information. It's not like I wanted a huge cup of ice, I just wanted to add a couple of cubes of ice to my coffee since they tend to brew the coffee at 1,000 degrees. Kiosk was slow. Staff attempting to guide customers were poorly trained. Lines everywhere. Staff attempting front cashier area refused to take orders referring customers back to long lines at the kiosk. Slow service. Becareful of this place especially if you suffer from IBD and you have a medical card they will not let you use the restroom unless you purchase something. I had to use the restroom and this tall aweful guy security refuse I even showed him my medical card and he said he does not give a shit. They do have a law in Maryland called Ally law for refusing to allow people with medical condition to use the restroom. He wanted to hit me because I argued with him that I need to use the restroom then I will purchase an item. As he open the door he was telling me I told him I would call the police then proceeded to tell me McDonald's is private establishment no it's not it's open to the public. Though I will say there is always a crowd here so it is a surprising destination for a lot of people. Went to this establishment on 10/19/24 to get breakfast and use the restroom and was met with aggression and an employee pulling a taser and turning it on me. The employee, Jeffery went and pulled a taser out and turned it on after I repeatedly asked for the bathroom code before purchasing anything due to a medical emergency. Instead of assisting he was filled with hate and aggression and would not provide his name until I called the police to assist. After asking his name multiple times since no name tag was on the uniform he proceeded to taunt me by saying I could get it if I paid. I continued to state I planned on buying food but had to use the restroom first. He refused to provide the code and after I took a picture to be able to show corporate due to not receiving his name he went and got a taser. After speaking with the "area manager" Kimberly and store manager Jacqueline they both are making excuses for this inexcusable behavior and refuse to provide the business owner contact information because I think this is beyond their control. I have met with so many reasons why he pulled the taser out and NONE excuse his behavior: I been told he used the taser due to recent robberies and because I could of been homeless and the issues they have with them in the AM. This is acceptable and ACCOUNTABILITY to all parties involved needs to occur! read more

This McDonald's in Langley Park Plaza is very hit and miss! Sometimes it's good sometimes it's bad. The service is fast but often the breakfast is mediocre. On 3 occasions my bacon, egg and cheese biscuits were bad. The dough is not completely cooked and/or the bacon and sandwiches are lukewarm warm. It's a predominantly Hispanic staff no problem with that, however if you are not Hispanic the service is less than friendly. Just an observation There an unusually high turnover of staff. Terrible service. They forgot apart of my order and few of the workers there spoke English, so when I tried to explain my order was missing they pretended like they didn't understand. I had to show them a picture of my missing item and my receipt. Last month I was riding the Metro home from the Kennedy Center when a shooting at a metro station down the line made all the trains stop for the evening. We had to get off in Silver Spring. Just down the street on the corner under the shade of a big tree is a McDonald's. It is a great setting for it. I waited here for my ride from my daughter. When she got there we went inside for a quick bite as the time was now after 7:15 pm & I had not eaten since the early in the afternoon. The place was just a little bit busy. With 3 locations to put in your order this wasn't a problem. There was on order board inside and out plus the main counter. We did our order of two spicy McChicken sandwiches, fries, an ice tea and sparkling water at the main counter where the manager rang us up. The McChicken sandwiches were on the dollar menu at 2 for $3.50, a great deal! The ice tea and fries were also part of the dollar menu. We didn't have a long wait for our food but there were problems with the order. They don't have sparkling water as part of the soda station but the manager did not point this out when we ordered. We got a refund and bought a bottled water. Also I only received one of my two very delicious & spicy McChicken sandwiches even after stating that I wanted two of them at least two times. When my daughter attempted to correct this with the same manager she would only ring us up for another one at the regular price for one! We gave up! As for the restaurant itself there is a small narrow parking lot on the right side of the building. You need to be careful when you maneuver in it. The seating section around the corner on the right from their service counter was dirty with trash on the tables. I really can't recommend the service or the dining accommodations here! Another day, and my love affair with the McDonald's Dollar Menu continues.  Food was great and service was fast. As an added bonus, no fights broke out among patrons during my visit today. I do tend to like ketchup with my french fries, but none was offered to me when I picked up my mobile order. This was disappointing. What's more, both ketchup dispensers on the beverage station were empty. This was frustrating...but we all have crosses to bear in life and today, this was mine. I will survive.  :-) read more

Their walk up window is open after midnight sometimes even though they close at 12. Fries are crispy perfection. Burger assembly had the cheese a bit off center. Worst thing is the location due to downtown Silver Spring traffic rules like no left turns and no turns on red. Still, it's worth stopping for a late snack since nothing else is open. This McDonald's fully convinces me that you have to be actually mentally slow and physically slow. Honnestly it's pathetic.

The food is mediocre at best and the service is horrible. One of the staff members (lady with grills)in particular is extremely rude and when I told her that they gave me the wrong sauce for my order she threw it on the counter and said she would not be giving me the correct one. The place itself has a bunch of homeless people roaming around it all of the time and it is very unsanitary.There is constantly dirty mop water on the floor and it's just completely unprofessional over all.Someone need to call the department of health it's a gross environment. read more

Really sad to see the only "healthy options" are removed during the sah time period. I understand limiting the menu but there are only the highest fat options available. No salads or grilled chicken. I'm not saying those are healthy but they are healthier than the other items on the list. Takes about 10 minutes to be served after placing your order. This McDonald's has no drive thru and almost no parking. Across from Silver Spring Metro and multiple bus lines as well as walking distance from downtown Silver Spring, it is reliant on foot traffic of people on their way to and from the subway and the surrounding area. There aren't too many fast food chains in the area, no burger king, wendy's, KFC, etc. in the area, so good if you want something fast and not too expensive. Always request to go from self serve kiosks, otherwise they make you enter your table tent number so they can bring it to the table, but they don't really have table tents. So get it to go and bring it to the table. It can get crowded because there isn't a lot of spacebetween the counter and the door. read more

This joint was always a staple when I stayed at my friends house during those dog days of my Fort Lee experience. Weekends were often spent in DC and I often laid my head at my friend's SS apartment. After a movie or other not-so-late-night experience, we would head here for a quick snack - usually resulting in consumption of a Big Mac or other Ray Croc "concoction." Service is hit or miss - some days I walk out thinking that life is grand, other days I walk out thinking my wallet just got raped and left a bad taste in my mouth. I get the two stars . Why did it take over 5 minutes to get my big mac meal? Because people just decided not to make it. As I stood waiting for my order, others who ordered meals after me received theirs. Luckily, one of the people behind the counter noticed me standing and waiting for awhile and yelled for someone to make my food. Another annoying thing besides lack of fast service is service. The cashiers are friendly, but I don't think evening rush hour is a time to be striking up conversations with customers when there are lines going everywhere. One plus is they did try to keep the floors mopped up and dry as the evening rain fell steadily.
