Well, I had not been to a McDonald's in probably 10 years. I decided I was in the mood and took my chances on this location. I'm happy to say that the people working there were absolutely lovely, they kindly helped me with my order, the french fries were piping hot when they arrived and the burger was fresh and warm and juicy! A very pleasant experience overall. read more

I began in the drive through at 8:21 am, finally getting to the pay window at 8:47. Had to wait for someone to come to the window and while I'm waiting, I watched a young person in the direct line of vision in the background on a cellphone. Uncalled for. I could go on for hours, but there isn't enough space. This would not allow me to give "0" stars for a review. read more

I've been here 4 or 5 times and every time they're busy, but every time they also get my order right (most McDonald's forget my sides of Big Mac sauce but not Skidaway). Customer service is always good for me and so is their ability to get the food out hot and fresh even when they're busy. read more

NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place needs to close down or have better service I was getting a coffee a caramel fappe and there was A LITTERAL FLY IN MY DRINK disgusting.! read more

Initially an odd experience but it worked out very well in the end. My order was mobile and when I got to the drive thru, there seemed to be confusion. I've done many mobile orders but this one seemed to stump the staff. Once that was cleared up, smooth sailing. My drink was right, both sandwiches were great and besides the confusion the service was excellent. My only suggestion is that they familiar with the mobile order system because it's a good way to limit contact and use coupons. read more

Been here multiple times and never received my food in under 30 minutes, no matter how empty the lobby is/time of day it is. Good thing they're not a pizza joint or I would've never paid for a single order yet lol. Whether it's one single breakfast sandwich or just a side of fries, they will NOT serve you in under 20 minutes; must be a store policy. read more

Cookout is 1 mile or less down the street. Go there. You'll get faster service and hot food. For this McDonald's: Service -10/5 | Food 2/5 | Ambiance? There is any. They will have you waiting 30+ minutes for you food and it STILL NOT BE FRESH. That's crazy. read more

So, if you go there, especially early, be prepared for a very, very long wait. I wish people understood that when you go to a "fast food" place, the "fast" is imperative. We choose these places for convenience pre-job. Our time, even when well-budgeted, is short in the mornings. Now, on top of the lines, one drive thru lane is closed AND the interior is closed. There is NO sign stating this, so you only find out after you park and attempt entrance. If you cannot be staffed enough to offer full fast service, perhaps there is a better way? I will contact this franchise's owner, as they may not be aware, but in the meantime-please go elsewhere. Even if you have slotted some extra time-it will be used up read more

Consistently hot food and good service. This is my neighborhood McDonalds and I'm only rating it because people only review fast food restaurants when they get mad and I know that's not always the case. read more

I've sat in the drive thru for 45 MINUTES AND NOTHING what is actually going on what happened to fast food I've been served faster in a sit down restaurant read more

I wish I could put 0 stars. This McDonald's is horrible, do not waste your time coming here because you most likely with be disappointed with how long it takes to get your food or that the order you received is incorrect, or both. The first time I came to this McDonald's, I waited for about 35-40 min in line for my food and it was a small order. The second time I used this McDonald's, my order was mostly incorrect and I had to get a partial refund from DoorDash. Both times my food never seemed very fresh and not warm. Avoid this McDonald's at all costs. read more

This is sooo nasty. I just ordered this as I'm eating my food i lift the fork to eat and realize this is a dead fly at the bottom of my pancakes. This isn't a clean place like I thought it was. This use to be my favorite spot in the morning for breakfast before I go into work. Never eating here again. read more

By far the worst McDonald's franchise I've ever been to. The Franchisor should be ashamed. Never ever have they gotten an order correct. 3pm when there's no rush? Expect a 15 minute wait in the drive through. Expect that anything that deviates from exactly what the menu says will be screwed up. Come here for the weed smell permeating off the employees and the shitty service, and someone else's order (no joke... I've gotten a giant bag that belonged to someone else 3 times). read more

Slowest service ever!! 15 minutes for each car, minimum. No clue what could possibly take so long. Are they frying one fry at a time???

This is a 24 hour McDonald's. I get out of work at 3am. Figured I'd try them out again, since it's been a while, and employee turnover is high and maybe they've hired more competent employees... Nope. The past 4 nights in a row... "Our system is down, come back later". Mhmm. These douchebags need to change to a closing schedule daily, or actually... Be open 24 hours. Reported to corporate. read more

This is always been the worst McDonald's. Picking up my door dash order when it clearly says a sweet tea for my order and the lady is telling me there isn't one on the order. The customer paid for their sweet tea! Yet now I have to tell them that the McDonald's is telling me otherwise. This is not the first problem I've had with them. Always an issue. This McDonald's has rude employees, long wait times, and then ultimately they got our order wrong. They left the cheese off of an egg and cheese biscuit. Took another 7 minutes to get cheese added to it. Horrible service. read more

I came here to pick up a Doordash order and after waiting for 30+ minutes in the drive thru, I pulled around and parked and walked up to the drive thru window and their cuntasaurus manager told me I had to wait in line like everyone else and I told him my customer has already been waiting over half an hour and that I'm losing money sitting there to which he replied I don't care. The dining room is closed because this location is under construction, if you can't handle running a drive thru then fucking close. This McDonald's much like all the others is a fucking shit hole. Go spend your $ elsewhere! I will be calling corporate in the morning to file a complaint! read more

I dislike this McDonalds more than the others in Savannah. * They rush rush you to order, Don't dare take a minute to make up your mind * The service is slow at all times * Drive-thru will mess up your order if given the chance (Check your bag before you leave) * Late night has a "Limited Menu" which makes no Logical sense and and is not posted anywhere on the menu board so you have to guess or ask. If you have the chance go to the one on DeRenne Avenue or Whitemarsh Island Instead. read more

This is not the first time we have been to this location. If we are going to eat McDonald's at all we tend to come to this one because it is closest to home. The line here is always long and it always takes forever to get through the line. The drive through person, it seems no matter who it is, rudely interrupts with "is that it?" Between each item you are ordering. They then have to ask you several times what you want because they were too busy to listen to you in the first place. They aren't particularly friendly. Just not a great experience, ever. we shouldn't be eating fast food anyway I suppose ‍ read more

I've given this branch 3 tries before writing a review. The drive through service is very slow, I got my order wrong on one occasion and the the ice cream machine was out of order on another. 2 stars because it's just a McDonalds. I would recommend going to a different branch. read more

Spent over 26 minutes in the drive-thru line for an order of fries, and when I got them, they were cold. Unfortunately, this location was not well managed the evening I went. They had plenty of workers, but it seemed like a lot of them were just sitting around gossiping. I watched multiple cars leave the drive-thru line, one even AFTER they paid. read more

Absolutely horrible service. Extremely slow and forgot half my order. Received the biggest attitude when told them I was missing food. Definitely would not go back read more

I sat in the drive through for 15 minutes waiting for someone to say something. No one said anything. I pulled around to go inside and was told that the inside was closed I asked if they could have someone take my order in the drive through, was told to drive around and then had to wait another 3 minutes until someone finally took my order. When it was finally taken the customer service was absolute garbage. I have never had an experience like this at any other McDonalds. read more

Which McDonalds on Skidaway has to be Dean worst business that's ever been to three nights in a row I've gone between 2 and 3:30 a.m. and they will not serve me any food or drinl. I asked them for a drink they said they where cleaning all the machine. Coffee machines, coke, and frozen drink machine . This was at 3 on Sunday evening this time watch me open or keep your lights on if you're not going to start food it's not like it was once in awhile three times just happened to me I promise I will never go back to that McDonald's. The man working the window would not give me his names read more

Garbage. Started patronizing this location within the month and when I get off work late (bartending) this is sometimes the only option. Fries that taste like youre eating them straight from the floorboards of a 1992 nissan stanza. If you ask for new ones, they stick the same old sad fries back in the grease. Its like being tired and super-hungry-for-hot-food but resigning yourself to eating refried tampon applicators. Just go to bed hungry and keep your $7. read more

Time after time, I have tried to come here out of convince. Thinking they won't mess up my order and the service will be to the standard they have set forth from their corporate office. I am let down every time. Every time they mess up the order, fries are always cold or stale, burgers taste like they have been sitting there for hours. Dry stale buns, watery soda and rude, so very rude and inconsiderate people. A large fry is never completely full and there has yet to be one time that it has taken me less than 15 minutes in a drive through. I timed my stops here on a few occasions. The longest wait for my single order for just myself, a double cheese burger meal, it took 24 minutes.. Every night this place is worse and worse. read more

We just moved to the area. I ran over to this McDonalds for a quick bit. I waited at the drive thru speaker for a few minutes and wondered if it was working and considered just driving up to the window. Eventually a young girl spoke and apologized for the wait. I was able to order and get through. I wanted to leave a review for this particular visit because I was pleasantly surprised with the two young girls that served me. They were both very sweet and professional. They greeted me with genuine smiles and wished me a good night. This has been the best service I have received since moving here - & it was a McDonalds. All thanks to those girls. read more

This is the only 24 hour drive thru within inner Savannah, and it can be up to a 45 minute wait from 12-4am. I don't know what the problem is, but the fact that a late night drive thru takes longer than coming during lunch rush is horrendous. read more

If I could give Zero stars I would every time I have ever been here the service has been absolutely terrible! Every one has the time to laugh and sit around but not open another register to help check out a customer. Waited in line for 10 mins was never acknowledged so I walked out. This is a prime example is to why I do not go to McDonalds in general TERRIBLE service! read more

This location is jacked with the overnight staff. My friend and I pulled up after working late shift. I don't eat beef from McDonald's, something in it bothers me. I know it wasn't on the late night menu, but I saw the chick in front of me get 3 McChickens on her order, so I thought they were being served. Then they told me I couldn't have McChickens and they only serve the late items (which are mostly/ if not ALL beef.) But I guess at least my friend got to eat, right? The food took a long time to get. Probably waited about 10 minutes, with a line of cars behind me. Finally I was handed my friends food with an audible "Hmph" from the young lady working the pickup window. Mind you, this was early morning August 12. Just wanted a McChicken, and it seemed like anyone could get it but me. read more

They need to make zero stars because this place sucks. No one cares about the customers and they get the orders wrong ever time. If that McDonald's can just shut done it should. The managers need to get their employees in check because they always have an attitude when you come in there. When I went in there one time it was like 30 minutes until closing and they had a whole attitude with me when I walked up to the counter. The girl wouldn't even take my order for about 10 minutes and when she did come take my order she had an attitude and kept messing it up. Pitiful read more
