I don't think I've ever been this disrespected as a customer in my life. My boyfriend has never tried a McRib and after excitement of realizing that they have brought it back, I suggested we go to McDonalds to get one for him because I wanted him to try one. (I knew they weren't that great, a little overrated IMO, but it was for him to try - not for me!) After driving up to place my order in drive-thru, the lady who was taking my order responded with such an attitude asking "What do you want?", and before I could even continue my order she asked "And?". It was a very unpleasant and negative experience, I was so shocked that I made a disgusted face. I shrugged it off and just wanted to get my food and get out of there, but after pulling up to the window , the guy who handed me our bag kind of shoved it out the window. I checked the bag to make sure that I got my sauce for chicken nuggets, and usually - the sauce is at the top of the bag because they usually add it at the end.. but there was no sauce! So I asked the guy "Is it okay if I have some sauce?" And he said "If you ordered sauce, you got the sauce" - again, with a very negative attitude. So before even leaving the parking lot, I parked in front of the store, doubting this very rude employee and we checked the bag. Guess what? NO SAUCE? So my boyfriend had to inconveniently walk into the store and ask for some just because this high-ego employee was too rude to give us some. Like come on. What was the problem today, lol. So after hearing the radio ad for the "crispy, juicy, tender" chicken sandwiches over and over in my head for three weeks, I decided to cheat on Jesus chicken aka Chick Fil A and head over to the nearest McDs. The Brian Cox voice in my head commanded me to try out their Spicy Chicken Deluxe sandwich. The drive through ordering was pleasant enough and I couldn't wait to get back home and sink my teeth into some deliciousness. When I got back, I was mildly disappointed that the location had mixed up my order and given me the regular spicy chicken sandwich instead of the deluxe. What this means was that I was looking at a sad little potato bun, two pickles and a friend chicken patty all squished together in an unrecognizable mess. There was barely anything else on it. Since I was hungry, I decided to go for it. The chicken was anything but, crispy, juicy and tender, as advertised. In comparison, the Chick Fil A spicy chicken has a regular bun and a bigger patty. I was at the drive-thru at 815am. I ordered the sausage egg mcgriddle meal. Im a pescatarian, so I asked for no sausage and to replace it with a round egg. Guy says they have to charge me for the round egg. I said "that's fine." Then he also says, "So you still want the folded egg AND the round egg?" in which I reply with the affirmative. My drink of choice was a small hot chocolate. I paid and got my meal, super fast and easy. I was on break at work for 15 min and made it back to my desk just in time. I used the kiosk to order food for dine-in since McDonald's employees have become too lazy to ring customers up. I took the table tent and waited for my food. It clearly says, "Please place on your table and we'll bring the food to you." 20 - 30 mins later, they never brought it. I walked up to the counter, and there it sat in a paper bag. My receipt said for "Dine in, that means you put it on a tray, and you walk over to the table where I am sitting. Don't offer this type of service if you are not planning to do it. I had to wait another 5 mins just to get the Orange Juice. Why do you have customers use the kiosk, but you refuse to bring the food. You all would be fired at my job if you didn't help customers. I have no complaints about this McDonald, I come here quite often. They just remodeled but unfortunately, due to the pandemic and SIP, I did not get an opportunity to go inside but the exterior is nice and their drive thru set up seems nicer than other McDonalds (for example, the McDonalds in Dublin doesn't even have a screen to see your drive thru order). I don't feel like the staff is particularly horrible or amazing. I order my usual and the food comes out promptly. It is a fast food joint, so I can see they are working efficiently as possible. Their food is hit and miss sometimes. The fries are not always consistently fresh and salted well, but I am still happy. read more

Happy New Year! FOOD POISONING ALERT! Last week I recently visited this location in San Ramon (which I have since I lived here for the last 13 years a time not frequently) and had the absolute worst experience in my life. First, my family have owned franchisee locations in Dallas Texas for franchise called Grandys and understand the food service industry very well for 19 years. We never once had a food poisoning incident or if we were ever alerted of potential issue would shut down immediately. The customer service was ok, but you could tell the attitude for what appears to be a renovated location, isn't great. The manager walked around with his arms crossed the entire time not smiling greeting customers, just staring out the door to what perceived to be monitoring the "foot traffic" coming in and out. That action is typical in this business to monitor food cost and the amount of employees time on the clock. When I got my food (Double Quarter with everything on it) it appeared normal and looked delicious. The taste of the burger was unusual and very grease. Basically the burger had been out, reissued and quality was disgusting. Still, paying $15 for the meal I ate it (which is my fault) but regardless the fact that this was serviced out is completely unacceptable. Now, 6 days later, I am finally over the food poisoning as that burger was the only item I ate from a location that day. It was about 12-24 hours before it hit and caused me to go to the hospital this past weekend. I would not recommend this location and I hope no one else has had issues. Have a great day. read more

It's always a hit or miss with how fresh the food will be when going to Mcdonald's. If you want a pro tip, go to Mcdonald's when it's busy. That way you can be sure your food is freshly made. I ordered mcdonald's for my kids and one of them wanted sweet and sour the other wanted bbq. I only received one sauce. I asked for another and they told me only one sauce per order. Not to mention the mcflurry was half empty like they ate some of it. If I could give this location zero stars I would with one star being too generous to say the least. Ordered two burgers and they got one wrong, which I pointed out at the drive-thru window. The girl at the window talked to another employee, who I assumed was the manager, and asked me why the order was wrong which I explained a second time. I thought that they were making my order right when the girl handed me the bag with a smile but my bad for not checking prior to driving back home. After arriving back home and opening the bag they hadn't changed anything. I then contacted corporate and they contacted the San Ramon store. Walked in, tried to go to the restroom before ordering, couldn't because it's locked with a keypad. I stood at the register to ask for the code, an employee waltzed by and and said to "use the kiosk", no greeting so I didn't even have a chance to get the code. Went to kiosk, couldn't figure out which section was the meal, had to try and ask an employee, which was difficult because they seem to not want to actually help you. Thay charge for iced tea refills now? I was just here for an afternoon snack in- restaurant with my son. We had a quarter pounder deluxe meal (large fries and large iced tea), a spicy crispy chicken sandwich, 20-pc nuggets, a slushie, and a large coke. When I came up to the counter to ask for a refill on my iced tea I was rudely told by the female employee there that I have to buy a new cup of iced tea if I wanted a refill. I politely told her that I was just there the other day and I had no problem refilling and if it is a new store policy and since when was it in effect since there are no signs anywhere informing customers of this new rule. Again a rude "I don't know!" reply and turned her back immediately. Unfortunately, management is quite lax in this branch as they don't even wear name tags so I was not able to get her name. I did not think it was worth my time to argue about a $1 iced tea so I just went ahead to the soda machine and got diet coke. maybe a little retraining in customer service is in order. Maybe someone can enlighten me on this new policy as I was also at the other branch near Alcosta Blvd. earlier this week and I had no problem refilling iced tea there. They actually just gave me a brand new cup of iced tea since I assume used cups cannot go back inside for refills. Food is typical McDonald quality. Nothing to complain about. The staff's attitude, on the other hand, is worse than anything I have seen anywhere. When customers approached them, they just turned around and walked away. BOTH the manager and the staff behave exactly the same way. Customers tried to order food at the cash register, they actually tell them, unapologetically, to order at the kiosk even when there's nobody lining up at all. An elderly couple walked in, heard about it and then just walked out immediately. I am not sure what kind of training McDonald HQ is providing their franchise's employee, but I feel sad for this franchises owner. I very rarely eat at mcdonalds. And, unfortunately had to est there twice in the last few days. My first order, a #2, was given to me raw and sitting in enough grease to soak the bottom bun. When I removed the meat to eat with a knife and fork I discovered it was raw inside. My second meal, chicken nuggets meal, was not. It was a disgusting filet o fish drowned in tartar sauce. On Thursday, June 29, I visited your drive thru. Ordered: 2 Quarter Pounders w/cheese, 1 Big Mac and 1 Medium Fry. After getting home as always my frys were cold and soggy, BUT I wasn't expecting to take the first bite of my Quarter Pounder, I noticed the meat was very mushy and pink around the outer edges, the inside was RED! I tried to warn my husband, but it was too late, he was so hungry he started eating his in the car and finished it on the time we got in the house. Later that night my husband got sick. I called the Support Center 1-877-646-0168 immediately that was at 6:10 p.m. they took my information and said someone will contact me soon. This is simply a rant/review of probably what is a lack of training and also a weak hiring process. I submitted the following as "feedback" via McDonald's app and will also post on Yelp if there is any follow-up from McDonald's. --Begin Rant--- I ordered 4 items via app. Arrived at the drive-up station and conveyed my code. The resulting menu confirmed my four items. I drive to the cashier window and obtain the receipt. Get to the food window and was handed 3 items, but my soft drink was missing. I ask the employee about it. She says no drink was ordered. I look at the receipt and do not see a drink. I drive around and park to look closer at the receipt. I see an order for Big Mac (5.39), Decaf Coffee (1.29), promo order of French Fries (0), but the soft drink is not shown on the receipt. The two cost items total 6.68, tax is .58, and take-out total is 7.26. BUT, at the bottom of the receipt it shows that the transaction amount is for 8.67, a difference of 1.41 (cost of medium soft drink with tax). SO, I take the receipt inside and talk to a man in a blue shirt. I show him the receipt and tell him that I was charged for a medium drink but it doesnt show up on the receipt. I show him my email for the mobile order, that shows the drink. He replies that he doesnt know. I ask if he is the manager, to which he responds yes. He tells me that the total was for 7.26, but I tell him I was charged 8.67, which also shows up on the receipt. Hey says he doesnt know. I tell him that the difference between the transaction amount and what I was charged, is the cost of the medium soft drink. He says he doesnt know. Now put yourself in the customers shoes. You need a drink with a meal and you have paid for the drink. The only missing piece is the idiot in the blue shirt handing you a plastic cup. You dont give a crap about the 1.41, but at this point you would gladly contribute a hundred bucks to a campaign that would close this specific restaurant down. How the drink got missed on the receipt, I dont know nor do I care. The only thing that I care about is going to a place of business and getting the product that I've paid for. --End Rant-- read more

I went to this McDonald today and ordered and paid for my food at 10:15am using the app. The drive-through line was so long and I waited 17 mins and finally got to my turn. But then they said it has already passed 10:30am and the breakfast can no longer be served. I asked them patiently and they said they will talk to the manager. Finally they asked me to pull up to the window to pick up the food. I waited another 7 minutes and finally got to the window to pick up the food. But then they told me they don't see my order and ask me to leave. I spoke to their manager (Robin) and she said I had to go inside the restaurant, stay in line and order the food again. Not only I waited more than 20 mins and didn't get the food that I already paid for, both the manager and the server was also so rude and don't give a "sh*t" about their customers.
